"My sister was in St Lawrence Rehabilitation Center. They were very good. They had excellent care. It was a single room. The staff was very professional and very attentive, which is important. I think the food was OK. She really didn't have a great appetite at the time, but the food was OK. It was balanced meals. It was institutional food. I think they try to give you what you asked for and change whatever. I would say it was good and nutritional food. It was clean, and I think it's well kept. I think it's a very good place for a rehab."

"We are hoping to move my sister to The Terraces at Lawrence. This place was very clean. The director was very professional, and the people seemed very caring. They had an atrium that was a very nice place to meet, like on a Sunday if you visit. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable."

"My mother has been at Hamilton Continuing Care for four years now. They're wonderful. The staff has been attentive to my mother's physical needs. They communicate well with the family. It's a beautiful community with beautiful, nicely manicured grounds. The public areas are clean and accommodating to the residents and family. The rooms are always clean. The activities seem to be varied. They have a schedule every day with a nice mix of physical activity and fun. I'm very happy with all the people who I have come in contact with. The only thing that I have had a problem with is that my mother's stuff has been stolen, which has not been remedied."

"My father-in-law had medical problems and had been in Mercerville Center several times. He was there when he passed away, and they really took good care of them. It's a nice environment. They have a dining room for the people. They have little things going on, like bingo, they play songs for them, they have parties, and they have communion and masses, which is important for my mom. It just seemed like the people care about the residents that are there. The staff is really good. If you have any problems, you go to them, and they take care of it. 9 out of 10 times if I noticed something and I went to them, they apologized. And within 24 to 30 hours it was taken care of. It's an older place, but the rooms are adequate for the people. There's lots of light in there, and there's always somebody checking on them. My mother was doing therapy, but she has plateaued now. So they basically commit, like every day they would get her up more around a little bit. But she's no longer in therapy. They have a day room they can go in and do puzzles or anything. In the mornings, they bring people up to the dining area and set it up, and they do exercises with them. Whenever somebody has a birthday, they have a big thing in the dining room for it to have cake and everything for the people. There's a real concern for the resident's well-being. "

"I went to the assisted living part of Greenwood House called Abrams Residence and I liked it a lot. That place would be good for those who don't want a lot of people. There were just too few residents there. They only have 25 residents and so it was very intimate. They have kosher food, which my sister's not interested in, but they have that. Dave was the one who gave me a tour of the place and he was very nice, very personable, and very helpful. The dining area was very attractive and warm. They have games, outside entertainment that comes in and religious services, but I guess mostly Jewish."

"Rooms are nice and clean. They come twice to clean it as I ask. The staff are very good and friendly. They are always ready to help. The administrator really helped me when I ask to move my family member from the second floor to the first floor because of my health problems. He did it as I asked. It was very nice of him to do this. I thanked him. Thank you to all the nurses."

"As a patient, I see the care and experience the service. Like all places, they have some good nurses and some that care less. The wound care nurse is great. The rehab professionals are great and care about there patients. The Doctors connected to the facility are caring. The staff is friendly. Most of the patients are older and long term. They mostly come from Trenton. But a few of us open-minded, out-of-towners see beyond race and location. "

"I have nothing but praise for Princeton Care Center. The staff were very caring, professional and cheerful. The rehab therapists was fantastic, encouraging me while at the same time being aware of my limits. Nurses came in to check up on me in between the times they needed to come in to give meds. I really attribute those meds and PCC for saving my life. I can only imagine what the end result may have been if I had gone home after my hospital stay So, 5 plus stars from me."

"My mother is at Complete Care at Park Place for rehab. They're great. The thing I like the best is the nurses are amazing. They're great with my mom. They love her. Even when she's not in the best of moods, they're still wonderful with her. Any questions I have, they're really good about getting the answers as soon as possible. They go over things with me. The hospital will call them to schedule appointments, so they'll get in touch with me to let me know what appointments she has. They'll set up transport for her since she's in a wheelchair at the moment. They work hard to take care of my mom, so I appreciate it. It's clean and friendly. The rehab area where they work with her is nice and has all kinds of stuff. The only problem my mom specifically had is that she keeps kosher and that's a newer thing for them. That's been a little bit tricky, but they have been trying hard to make sure she has food that she can eat. They even went the extra mile to get her kosher packs. That's not something they had, but they actually went the extra mile to do that and I can't thank them enough for that because she's not going to eat a pork sandwich. They make sure that they have stuff for her to eat. We're appreciative of that, especially since it's not something they're used to doing. The food tastes fine to me. I wouldn't say it's gourmet food, but it's fine and adequate. I've seen the menu and they have good meals. They do a great job taking care of the patients and making sure they're doing OK, even in some not-so-great circumstances that they're in. I definitely appreciate everything they've done for my mom. Medicare is covering it right now, which is wonderful. It's covered for 100 days. For such a great facility that's taking care of my mom and it's covered under Medicare, to me, that's very impressive."

"Pennswood Village was good. They treated their residents like royalty, and they were very good to them. The staff seemed very nice. As far as cleanliness, it was very clean. Also, they had everything in there. They had an art gallery, their own post office there, their own gym, and a little restaurant there. They had a dining area for their residents, but they also had a dining area for when their family came. Their doctors were there. They also had a hairdresser. Everything was on campus that you would need. The staff who gave me the tour was very friendly and explained everything."
