"I absolutely love Lincoln Park! The facility is very nice and the staff is awesome. They feel like family to us. I have never had a complaint and my husband has been here since July. I am so thankful that they accept Veterans, so the men can visit with each other. "

"I am a current temporary resident of this facility because I had a total knee replacement done. So I came here seeking PT and OT treatment and also regular treatment while I was healing. This is such a nice place with wonderful care and you can tell that the workers are sincerely concerned with making sure you are comfortable and cared for. It is clean and I love love the nurses aides are always there for me. So I couldn’t recommend this high enough!!!!"

"Hopkins Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare was clean, and the staff seemed friendly. They have a gym. The courtyard is very small, and it's mainly for smokers, so that's the only thing. They have days where they sing, and they have movie nights, too. However, they didn't have too much entertainment. Also, some of the couches were old. They were nice and elegant, but they were a little bit old. In terms of location, there's a restaurant and a hospital nearby."

"This place was very nice. Everything was very clean and there was a nice smell in the air. The staff was very helpful to me, telling me about the patients, who to stay away from and who would benefit the most from talking to me. The people who are housed here are also very nice, except for a few who are not all there mentally, however these people are few and far between. It was a very nice place to visit and I enjoyed it thoroughly. "

"Autumn Lake Healthcare at Berkeley Heights is a very nice facility. It's well kept up and the communication with the woman that we met to find out about moving my aunt there was very, very helpful. Everyone was just very welcoming. The residents are very involved. There's a dining room where they can eat lunch and they have different activities going on like pet therapy and bingo. Today, my aunt's going to get her haircut in the facility itself. It's a very good environment for her to be in. They all have been very friendly and very helpful, and responsive. Her room is very nice. It almost looks like a hotel room. It has built-in cabinets and a little sink. It's well-appointed. The dining area is bright and open. It almost looks like a sunroom kind of environment."

"My aunt moved into Mcauley Hall Health Care Center. It's a very sanitary facility, and they keep my aunt very busy. She has a lot of opportunities to socialize with other people. The demographics of the residents are in keeping with her expectations. She is 97 years old, and she's very set in her ways. And that being said, she's very comfortable with her neighbors in the facility, and that would not necessarily be the case in some of the other facilities that I researched before we decided to enroll her here. This one meets, or exceeds all the criteria that I had going in terms of what I was looking for. This is the nicest place of all the places that I visited. The residents have scheduled meals three times a day, and they also have a small room that is on the floor that they are welcome to visit and obtain some snacks, things like that, if they feel hungry between meals. The meals are served punctually and they're given the opportunity to sit down at a table with some fellow residents and have their meals, or they do have their meals in their rooms. So there are plenty of options. It was by far the most reasonable in terms of the bottom line."

"Lantern Hill was very beautiful and nice, but very expensive. It was very nice for independent living. You have your own apartment. They had lots of good amenities there. They had physical therapy and a lot of activities for seniors. I met a couple of people that had been there for a while, and they just loved it there. The apartments are very nice. They have a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom apartment. I saw the one bedroom that had a bath. They also had a guest bathroom, which was closer to the living area. They had an open kitchen area with a bar and a dining room with tables and chairs for people. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I was in a wheelchair, and she was very patient to make me wheel around and go in the elevator and take us to see the different areas. The food was good. They have a few different restaurants. There is a guard outside, and they have a large parking area."

"My Mother is currently a resident at Manor Care, New Providence. Several years before I also had my Aunt cared for at this facility.. Mom receives the best care possible, by these loving and hard working people. I sleep at night knowing my mother is safe, clean and well cared for 24/7. I see my mother everyday and it is important to be present and advocate for your loved one when necessary, but, on a whole the staff at Manor Care New providence does a wonderful job take good care of my loved one. thank you Manor Care ! "My dad has been staying in AristaCare at Norwood Terrace for months. The personnel there are all qualified. They're all skilled and very good when they have time, but they're understaffed and my dad could wait over an hour to get help when he needed to go to the bathroom (and that's true for all the people staying there). Instead of waiting for help, people who shouldn't be moving on their own will get desperate and get out of bed and risk a fall. In fact, during the months that my dad was there, he fell at least two times because nobody came to help him and he had to help himself. If I could give them negative stars for treatment, I would. It's been horrible. He lost about 25% of his body weight. The kitchen is terrible. They don't even get the meals right. We order things on the menu and he gets different things. This is not just the fault of these individual nursing home rehab centers. This is the way the system is working right now."

"My aunt stayed at Manor Care Mountainside for rehab. She's been there a few times in the past few years. The blinds in her room were dirty, the walls were chipped, and neither one of the TVs had a remote. I kept asking for one, and the nurse just went to another room and got one for me. The rehab staff and the nurses were really good. The food seemed fine. They had bingo and a few other things. Her room was clean and the floors were always clean, but the blinds needed to be replaced and some of the furniture was very dinged up. It looked very rundown."

"I went to JFK Hartwyck At Cedar Brook. The staff was nice. They welcomed me, but the facilities were really outdated and old. The size and the layout of the rooms were okay. They were fine. They seemed clean. It was just outdated. Like in most places, some patients had their television on the wall, but here, some patients had their TV on a dresser or something. It's not modern, it's very outdated, and it's a very old building. They had a nice outdoor space. The back of it opens out into a beautiful park. They showed me an activity room where the residents go during the day to engage in activities and what-have-you. At that time, they were just watching TV. The therapy room was small but functional."

"My friend was at Chatham Hills. He was only in rehab there. For the first two weeks, he was in isolation. Every room has an outdoor window, and they numbered the windows so you could go to the window and visit them. The room was like a regular hospital room, but the nurses always made sure that they pulled them to the window to see us. He saw us there even though he was on the opposite side of the room. They seemed to be much more friendly and helpful. However, there were a lot of a lot of miscommunications. My friend was very picky and he didn't like the food."
