"Mira Vie at Warren was beautiful. I loved it. The people were very nice. The community was beautiful. My drawback was the demographics, because even though I'm 70, I think the people are older. I loved that they had underground parking. That was important to me, especially in New Jersey. I know I could feel comfortable there. The staff was wonderful. Everyone that I came in contact with, and also the residents, were very friendly and very welcoming. I had coffee and pastries and they were good. The common areas were gorgeous. The room was wonderful. It just didn't have enough closet space for me."

"The community that stood out to me was Juniper Village at Chatham. It was gorgeous. It was very classy and very well maintained. The amenities and seating areas were lovely, but it was way out of our price range. If we could have afforded, that's where I would send my father. The staff who gave the tour was extremely helpful and delightful, but she wouldn't be the one interacting with my father. The place was very clean."

"We toured Sunrise of Basking Ridge. It's a possibility. It was very nice. They gave me a lot of information. I saw a one-bedroom; it was very big and good. The place looked nice. It was clean, and it was kept well. The dining area was clean, neat, and very nice. They have a library, a salon, and an activity room. However, there is no pool or gym."

"I toured the Heritage of Clara Barton, and I liked the location. The lobby was very nice and expansive. I liked that they had a separate laundry room, a very nice common area, a stove, and a refrigerator. The staff was very nice, and she made me feel very welcome. I liked the size of the kitchen, but I thought the living room and the bedroom were small."

"Upon first walking through the doors and meeting Donna, I instantly realized that Delaney was the best decision for my mother. After searching for a few months, no other options compared to what Delaney had to offer. The apartments are beautiful and quite spacious. My mom relocated from Florida back to NJ after our dad passed. The staff and residents couldn't have been more welcoming, making her feel like family right from the start. The attentive staff at Delaney has truly exceeded expectations, providing excellent care and assistance—from organizing fun activities and social events to their support with doctors' appointments. She has been living there for five months and calls it home! I couldn't be happier for my mother."

"Corinne was very knowledgeable and guided us through the many living options and variable prices of this new community. She listened to what our specific needs were. She has followed up with several emails to see if she could further assist us, without making it feel like a high pressured sales pitch-which it certainly wasn’t. This community won’t be available till Dec/Jan so. O final decision has been made."

"My mom, now 94, was a resident of Amber Court in the memory care floor for 3 years. We found the administration and staff at every level to be caring, professional and cooperative as mom's needs changed during that period. Transitioning a loved one from home to a new environment can be difficult on all parties. There's no greater peace of mind than knowing that your loved one is well cared for when you can't be there, We greatly appreciate that Amber Court afforded us that advantage. The administrator and nursing director were always responsive to our concerns and requests, the front desk always provided a warm welcome, and the aides, kitchen team and activities coordinators showed kindness and maintained their good humor even in the face of Mom's sometimes challenging behavior as her Alzheimer's progressed. Perhaps most comforting, we always had the sense that Mom was treated as an individual, not "one more resident/patient." While we had to move Mom to skilled nursing care elsewhere as things progresses, we'll be forever grateful for the years at Amber Court. "

"I toured Brighton Gardens of Florham Park. The people are very friendly. They have experienced staff on hand who take care of the people there. It was very clean and modern. It was exceptional in many ways. I wish my home were as good as Brighton Gardens. The staff was very accommodating, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The size of the rooms was good for a single person. It's enough to make you feel at home. The dining area was nice. It was restaurant-style."

My communication and interaction with Mr. Lee has been very comforting. My questions and and any concerns are addressed promptly by Mr. Lee. I get a call from him weekly to give me updates regarding my loved one. The food is very good according to my loved one. The staff is always greet me with smiles. The staff keeps the residents engaged. There is music and games. "

"We feel that CareOne at Somerset Valley was too big of a place for what we're looking for. We just went there to look it over, and they suggested that my sister go on level one. I think it would be good for a more social person, but she isn't a very social person. It was a very nice facility, but for our needs, we're looking for something smaller. The rooms were very sufficient. They gave everyone what a person would need. It was clean, bright, and cheerful. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful with their questions. We did not try the food there, but the dining area looked very pleasant."

"Spring Hills has exceptional activities staff. Speaking as a family member of a resident in the memory care section, known as Spring Cottage, I can say that the activities staff are incredible. They provide physical activity such as chair yoga and group exercise, as well as involve the Spring Cottage residents in events, BBQs, and other activities held in the community. They are really incredible at keeping them engaged! Well done."

"I like that Brookdale Florham Park was clean and that it had activities. We like it. We also liked that it was close to my mother-in-law's house. They have a microwave and a refrigerator in the units. The person who took me around was very nice. She was very good. They also had a courtyard outside."

"I'm gonna go to Laurel Circle in Bridgewater. That's been my favorite so far. I just like the feel. I love the room. It had multiple eating areas and a fabulous library. It's wonderful. I've seen so many places, and Laurel Circle, just for me, was top. I fell in love with it from the minute I walked in. The least I liked was the location because I have a family in Basking Ridge, and they wanted me to be in Basking Ridge. I liked the feeling, the amenities, the food, and the different areas here that you could eat at. The staff was fabulous and friendly. It's very clean, and if you have to go to memory care, everything is right there. It was lovely. The studio apartment was large. It surprised me how big it was. It had a balcony, a walk-in closet, a lovely full kitchen, and a great bathroom."
