I visited this facility

Sunrise was OK. The rooms were a little bigger. The staff was very good. The dining area is very nice but I wasn’t able to try the food. The residents were an older group and seemed complacent.

I visited this facility

All the people who lived at Sunrise seemed very happy. The director knew every single person's name. He loved his job. The residents all loved him too. They had happy hour every day. The place was not as clean but the staff really won me over. At the time of my visit, they were painting and doing some repairs.

This is an expensive but well-maintained and competently-run facility largely populated by well-heeled, demanding residents with no shortage of petty complaints. The rooms are nice, if small, and the food is very good. There is an abundance of activities and trips, and the staff is kind and energetic.
