"Warm welcome upon entering. Security at door is great. Nice and clean. Residents were dressed neatly and satisfied. Beautifully decorated. It was originally a hotel and transformed into an assisted living facility. There were very nice views from the rooms. Single rooms were fine. If you had a roommate, one of the beds was put into the kitchen area. I did not like that. There were 10 floors and you would need to use the elevators a few times a day to get to the dining area and activities. I would rather have to use the elevators so much. It is in the heart of downtown with alot of activity. If your loved one is able to really be on their own, then it would be terrific. "

"Before we started the paperwork at Heritage of Clara Barton, they did a coronavirus test, so they're very, very healthy conscious. Also, the place is as clean as a whistle; it is very impressive. The room that I saw was a one-bedroom, which was very spacious. As far as I know, there is a washer and dryer on three floors, soap comes with them, and they are not coin operated. The woman in charge was super nice and very friendly to us. She answered every question that we asked her. It was nice, and I like it. I wish I could get on their waiting list, and I hope I have the right amount of money when I come to the top of the list. Heritage of Clara Barton is a very good-looking place, and the people there are very nice. I met a couple of residents; they didn't know who I was, but they were nice. They have independent and assisted living there, and I'm trying for independent living. For $300, you'll get one meal a day and for $400, you'll get two meals a day, but obviously that extra is on top of your rental. They also have a recreation room where there is a small library and a small TV. They have a bus that will take you to places for a small fee, too. A one-bedroom would have two electric burners, a refrigerator, a lot of cupboard space, and a wall closet, as well as a bedroom closet for your clothes. It looks good. There is a hookup for cable TV in your room, but you obviously have to buy the TV, and you pay for whatever service you're using. It seemed like a place I would like to live, it looked good, and the people seemed very good."

"My mom will move into Juniper Village at Chatham. I think it is beautifully done, and the care in the community seems exceptional. The facility itself is designed to be as homelike as possible. It is not too large which is better. There are only about a hundred people in the facility, and I find it to be a warm and caring environment. It is beautifully decorated. It has wonderful public places and has lots of areas like reading room that are nicely decorated for people to sit and relax. They have something that my mother is interested in. They have a form of yoga and book clubs, and these are the things that she is interested in. They have some people who come in and give lectures, and she is interested in that as well. We have very good feedback that the food is excellent, and indeed my mother says that the food is wonderful. "

"Corinne was very knowledgeable and guided us through the many living options and variable prices of this new community. She listened to what our specific needs were. She has followed up with several emails to see if she could further assist us, without making it feel like a high pressured sales pitch-which it certainly wasn’t. This community won’t be available till Dec/Jan so. O final decision has been made."

"Spring Hills has exceptional activities staff. Speaking as a family member of a resident in the memory care section, known as Spring Cottage, I can say that the activities staff are incredible. They provide physical activity such as chair yoga and group exercise, as well as involve the Spring Cottage residents in events, BBQs, and other activities held in the community. They are really incredible at keeping them engaged! Well done."

"I toured Brighton Gardens of Florham Park. The people are very friendly. They have experienced staff on hand who take care of the people there. It was very clean and modern. It was exceptional in many ways. I wish my home were as good as Brighton Gardens. The staff was very accommodating, very friendly, and knowledgeable. The size of the rooms was good for a single person. It's enough to make you feel at home. The dining area was nice. It was restaurant-style."

I'm was so impressed with independent living units/apartment. Each unit offers unique layout with state of the art amenities. The units are perfect for seniors who demand perfection. The lobby is so welcoming and truly represent a high end senior's living. facility. "

"My uncle is already in assisted living here. We just like the atmosphere. The staff members are very attentive, and they'll call you for everything. The food is very good. They do activities with them, and they take them on trips. There's a washer and dryer, a microwave, and a refrigerator in the room. They have a courtyard, too."

"Sunrise was OK. The rooms were a little bigger. The staff was very good. The dining area is very nice but I wasn’t able to try the food. The residents were an older group and seemed complacent. "

"I really liked Brookdale West Orange. It's very comfortable and clean. The staff was very professional. The model room was very good. I like the fact that they have medical and dental units on-site. The access to the hospital was very good. It was exactly what I was looking for. They have studios and 1-bedrooms. I liked the activity director, very innovative, progressive, and it wasn't just your standard Bingo, but they had some interesting, stimulating activities which I really liked. There was a librayr/movie room where they show movies. They also had a physical fitness facility which I thought was very good and suitable for the age of the seniors there. The food looked good."

"The Brielle is a great, brand-new place. It had all the facilities that we needed, like medical, a gym, and a place to do blood work. The person who did the tour was great. The dining area was fine. I was very happy with it. Everything looked good. The set up was very nice."

"why is there no atm or little shop for residents to get things they need. it would allow them to feel more independant. they would not have to rely on others for daily needs. place is beautiful and staff is great."
