"My relative has moved into Whitehall Manor. It came more down to costs than anything else, and the room size accommodations just overall fit into what she was looking for. The facility is clean, organized, and very homely. She loves the food. It is great, and some of the best that she's had. It is even better than the hospital stuff. They have activities and do different craft hours, movie nights, and gym activities; that's what she's excited about."

"My mom is a patient there for the last 3 years. She loves it! She made many friends and her dementia seems to have been put on hold, not any worse is what I mean. She comes home tired which is good because she sleeps through the night. I don't know where I would be without them. I know my mom would be in a home as I have to work. Trust me go see it meet the staff and you will see what I mean. "

"From the moment I walked in this center it felt warm and inviting. The staff greeted us right away with warm smiles. The Director was very attentive to our concerns about placing our family member in something like this and offered a trial day to see if our family member would enjoy the program and feel comfortable. My family member has been attending for a little over half a year and really enjoys attending and looks forward to going, especially when there is music and they really enjoy the craft projects and other community visitors. I would recommend this program to anyone who's family member needs socialization or the caregiver needs respite. The staff are attentive to everyone, make sure everyone is involved to the best of their ability and they also offer a caregiver support group monthly. I am unsure about meals but my family member doesn't complain so I guess that's a good sign."

"Rooms are clean and roomy. Clothes are cleaned and hung up in closet. Best part is physical setting with plenty of room. Outside is available during decent weather. Staff has been marvelous. Also same staff for the 4 months my husband has been there. They share his activities. He is always spotless. My only concern is the lack of activities for these 16 folks other than a man singing and playing a guitar. Research needs to be done to see what amuses these folks."

"It's the only one in my area, highly recommended and when I did go and look at it, it's very nice. They have everything from games to tours to people coming in, music, arts and crafts and all kinds of stuff. It's a very homey atmosphere. There's a common area where there's a TV and piano. I'll recommend this place to others. "

"The Community at Rockhill is very nice. It's pretty. It's beautiful in the way it overlooks the grounds. They have this big glass window that is filling the floor. It's beautifully lit. What I don't like about the facility is that they're owned by another community. And if you're into activities and stuff, you got to get the bus and go over to this other community. The bus runs between the two. I am sight impaired, I don't like to go out and step on a bus in the middle of winter, or anything to go over there. The Community at Rockhill has a few activities, but not nearly what this other place has since they're owned by them, and that's what I have again. The rooms are not big, but they're nice and well-kept. They would re-do if you wanted to move in, like most of them do. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. It's beautifully cleaned and painted."
