"We toured Garden Spot Village. It's beautiful. It's just that it was too big. My wife didn't like it. We just didn't pursue it because of the size. They have a lot of activities there. It's a nice place. A lot is going on there because it's a very big community. It's a well-kept community."

"Tel Hai was a very lovely place to be if you can afford it. They are very pricy. The staff was very nice. They help you plan out your move from where you are to where you are going. They help you with the move, and they help with selling off your furniture if you desire to do that. They are just right there for your every need. I mainly looked at a two-bedroom, because that is what I wanted. The rooms were very lovely and nice sized, and they had patios. Some had screened-in patios and others had glassed-in ones, depending on what they wanted to add to it. They had a chapel right on the property, and they had meals. It's a meal plan like at all the other places, and you can get just breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or you can get all three, and of course the price goes up. Any time you need further medical help, it's available there, and if you move on to the next stage, the price goes up as well. They had a lot of activities. They go places and do things. It's just a very active community."

"Landis Homes is where I would really like to live. The staff is very friendly. It's a beautiful place but I probably would not qualify to live there because it's so expensive. I'm interested in their Hybrid Homes apartments and I really like them very much because it's a green building, green construction, and environmentally-friendly. I really liked that idea. And I liked the way it was laid out. "

"My mom is a patient there for the last 3 years. She loves it! She made many friends and her dementia seems to have been put on hold, not any worse is what I mean. She comes home tired which is good because she sleeps through the night. I don't know where I would be without them. I know my mom would be in a home as I have to work. I have seen a wide range of care ranging from fair to excellent, so when it became time for us to look at a nusring home for my father, the choice was easy; Parkhouse. Parkhouse has exceeded our expectations with their compassionate and skilled nursing. Patients from Parkhouse have always arrived to our ER in the best of physical condition and the facility is clean and bright and well staffed. The case workers, admission teams, social worker and director have all been incredibly supportive and have helped us to work our way through the incredibly complex and frustration medicare insurance process. Our father has dementia and multiple physical issues that have made it impossible for him to stay in his home any longer; the transition to Parkhouse was as smooth as it could have possibly been and the staff help him to feel like he maintains some of his independence while we know that he is safe, well cared for and treated with both dignity and respect. I cannot say enough about what Parkouse does; they truely are the best at what they do. We are grateful every day for Parkhouse. "
