The Birches of Lehigh Valley is nice and new. The nurses seemed to be doing different things and interacting with the residents. They were very helpful. I saw the menus, and they looked pretty good. The facility is very clean, inside and out. They have big rooms.

The Birches of Lehigh Valley is a new facility. It only opened in 2024, so it is in very good shape. Aesthetically, the way that it looks is really nice. Everybody was very accommodating, and we just had a really good feeling about the caregivers that were there. They worked with us so that we could get an apartment that suited my parents. They were very attentive to getting us in at a very precarious time. Even during a holiday week, which obviously was very stressful and crazy, it went quite well in terms of the move-in process. Because it's a new facility, some of the leadership is new. I think that there's still an opportunity to streamline some of the processes for families, but the food is very good, and the care is very good. We're still in an adjustment period. My parents live together in an apartment in the memory care section of the building, so the care is more attentive than if you were on the personal care side of the building. As for the food, they provide good portions of food. They have two primary care practices that come in every week, and so it makes it much easier for my parents to see a doctor there. They have a podiatrist that comes in. They're starting a new dental service that will come in. They have an onsite rehab for people who need PT and stuff, and all of that makes things simpler for the family because it's all just right there. We just need to coordinate with the staff there to make sure that my parents get seen as needed. As for activities, my parents are still getting used to them, but they definitely have things going on a regular basis.

The Birches of Lehigh Valley is the absolute BEST! I’ve been exposed to multiple assisted living facilities in the area and NONE compare to this amazing place. My dad has never been happier. The care is incredible. The staff care about their residents and take pride in their service work. It’s clean and smells wonderful inside. Truly the best in the area and I couldn’t be happier that my dad can call The Birches his home.

My husband has moved into The Birches of Lehigh Valley. It's very good. He gets very good care, and the food is good. There are some very, very good people there. The facility is brand new, so it's beautiful. He was at another place for a couple of months waiting for this one to open, and I've also visited some other places, and this one far exceeds the other places that he had been.

I had a tour of the Birches on Friday. What a beautiful facility. I met with Jillian and she was very helpful and gave me a lot of information. At this time I told her I was interested in checking out respite care. She said that this was not ready yet. I will keep in touch with her if and when I need this for my husband.
