Pat was his room aid person. Pat was always right on top of my father's needs. LULU was his nurse. Excellent medical care. Super friendly. The rest of the staff was top notch but I don't know their names."

"Kirkland Village is extremely clean. Everybody who lives there is friendly. It was very secure, and everyone was easy going and very helpful. The facility is perfect, and the staff was very accomodating. They had beautiful grounds, it felt like you were in a hotel, and you are on a vacation. "

"My husband is in a subacute nursing rehab center now. He is in Advanced Health Care of Hanover. It's relatively new. The rooms are very nice and large. He has a small refrigerator in his room so you can keep liquids or snacks. He has a nice TV. The skilled nurses are fairly attentive. What I don't like is that they don't wear any kind of uniform, and a lot of them do not wear nametags, so I don't know what their positions are. My husband likes the food. I'm not paying for it. Medicare pays for it, and I think it's a good place. They have bingo, but he doesn't go. The only time he would participate with other residents is when he's at PT or OT in the activity room, and he really doesn't talk much to other people."

"Please, please think twice before putting a loved one in this facility. I had a friend that was losing her battle with cancer and unfortunately she spent the last days of her life in this hell hole. The staff here are absolutely horrific! They could not care less about human life. What my friend had to endure in her last days I will never forget because of these people. They would leave her sitting in her own feces and urine for hours without changing her. She had bed sores so bad that they were infected because they were too lazy to rotate her. When I visited her two days before she died she was crying out in so much pain because they had not given her pain medication. She was suffering!  She had not eaten since morning and she was soaking wet with urine and feces in her adult diaper. I was disgusted and crying from that shere shock of how these people had treated my friend. I immediately went to the nurses station and there was a doctor sitting there reading a patient's chart, I was crying and I told him what was going on and he couldn't even care less. A Charge Nurse came over and I again explained the situation.  She said that she would send someone in there right away. I sat and waited with my friend in her room for 20 minutes and no one showed up. I put on a pair of sterilized gloves and then proceeded to clean her myself. Tears falling from my eyes looking at the bed sores as my friend was wailing in pain. This place needs to be closed down! Shame on you! I will spread the word to everyone that I know to never go to this facility even if their life depended on it. I am now left reminded of my friends last days on this earth of the pain that she suffered not only from the cancer but from the hands of these so-called "Caregivers"  as one of the most god-awful experiences I have ever witnessed in my life."

"My brother was in rehab in Bethlehem South Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. He received physical therapy and occupational therapy. Most of the time, the staff members were pretty good. There were times when he thought he had to wait a little bit longer than he wanted to, but they were busy, and sometimes they were short-staffed, too, with people falling sick. The facility seemed to be pretty clean. They came in at least once a day and cleaned the rooms. My brother's room seemed OK. It was a nice size. It wasn't too small or crowded. It seemed to be a good size. They have some activities. They had a calendar with different activities and games for the residents."

"Through an unfortunate set of circumstances, this facility ended up caring for 3 of my family members over a span of 2.5 years on their dementia care floor. The care each received was compassionate and professional. The rooms were kept very clean. They offered lots of activities and socialization. The grounds are beautiful and they have patios to take your loved ones outside for fresh air and sunshine. My mother in law particularly loved the patio. Another area they excelled in was communication. The staff and social workers always kept in constant contact and would update us when necessary. I can’t thank the amazing nurses and aides at the facility enough for the kind, compassionate and professional care they gave to each of my loved ones. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needed their services."

"My friend was in Slate Belt Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The care he got was good. They were very nice to him, but he didn't listen. He couldn't have physical therapy anymore because he kept falling. The staff was very nice and very good. It was like any other nursing home and rehabilitation, only he was in a section for dementia and he couldn't get out. He liked the food. I didn't get to go very often because of the pandemic. He was in a room by himself, and it was clean. They helped him a lot and in and out of the wheelchair. You could go and play games with other people, but he didn't do that. He just stayed in his room and watched TV or he went back and forth in the hall, which he liked to do. He fell once in a while, but they did their best not to have a fall, he just wouldn't listen. Whenever he was hungry, they would get him a snack. The dietitian would call me often and give me a report. Value for money was good. It was expensive, but they were helping to get Medicaid for him. The location was nice. It's up in the mountains, so he got to see trees and stuff like that. it was like being at home."
