My husband is in a subacute nursing rehab center now. He is in Advanced Health Care of Hanover. It's relatively new. The rooms are very nice and large. He has a small refrigerator in his room so you can keep liquids or snacks. He has a nice TV. The skilled nurses are fairly attentive. What I don't like is that they don't wear any kind of uniform, and a lot of them do not wear nametags, so I don't know what their positions are. My husband likes the food. I'm not paying for it. Medicare pays for it, and I think it's a good place. They have bingo, but he doesn't go. The only time he would participate with other residents is when he's at PT or OT in the activity room, and he really doesn't talk much to other people.
