"I’ve been helping my in-laws explore senior living options, and Keystone Villa at Douglassville IL has really stood out. Their sales person has gone above and beyond—personally stopping by my in-laws' home, answering every question (even the ones we didn’t know to ask), and providing incredibly helpful resources along the way. The community itself is impressive—well-maintained, welcoming, and full of life. The events and concerts are truly top-notch and give a great glimpse into the active lifestyle residents enjoy. It’s clear they care not just about filling apartments, but about making sure families feel supported and informed. We’ve been very impressed. This is our first choice for my in-laws when they are ready to make the move. And I appreciate that we've never felt pressured. Their team realizes it can be a long decision-making process."

"I got to see the rooms, the dining room, and everything at Holiday Walnut Woods. You have to bring in your home health care, which is a different expense. It's attractive when you walk in and it feels homey. The staff took me through and showed me everything. I sat at the table and had a glass of iced tea. I talked to my cousin, a current resident there, who said the food was good. I've seen an exercise class and they are playing cards. The atmosphere is light and airy and has a very nice open space concept."

"The rooms are beautiful and well cared for. Kept so very well. We’re proud to show our friends and family. The food is very much like home. Not gourmet, but love most of chef’s preparations. The soups are positively delicious. Dining staff is well trained and helpful. The staff is without a doubt the very most friendly and caring group of people. Our observation is that comes from the top! Greeted from the beginning with our personal names from all. This atmosphere is noticed from the residents also. Couldn’t be happier in this environment. Good times are had by all."

"I toured Echo Lake. The staff was attentive and willing to talk about my friend's needs and discuss some changes that we recommended. It was a lovely place. It was very open and welcoming. They did provide the chopped diet that she needed. It's a beautiful facility. They have exercise plans and physical therapy."

"The Heritage of Green Hills was so active. It was Halloween and they were having a Halloween party. They were really busy. It's a busy place. But you have to buy into that, and I didn't want to do that. It was nice though. The rooms were very clean and very neat. The size of the room was perfect. They had a buffet for dining, but I don't know if it's always a buffet. They have a huge indoor pool and a beauty salon. They have everything there, and the place is huge."

"I like the size of the apartments at Wellington at Hershey's Mill, both the one-bedroom apartment and the studio. They were spacious compared to the others. It looked pleasant. The woman that did the tour was excellent and very knowledgeable. I liked the restaurants and the activities they have for the residents. I also liked the proximity of the nurses to the areas that were in charge. They have a gym, a gathering area, and recreations."

"What I liked best about Paradise Manor was it wasn't crowded. I like that they have their own rooms and that they don't share with anyone else. The staff was very friendly. It's easy to get around in that facility. There's nothing that I saw that will cause any red flags for me as far as mom being in her wheelchair. There's plenty of room for her to go around. I spoke with the director there, and he was great. He was very upfront and honest and cares for his staff. A lot of his staff members have been working for him for over 15 years, so that says a lot about him. I only interacted with a few members of the staff, but the little that I did, they were really good. When I was walking in, there was staff cleaning the bathroom. Everything was clean. There were no strange smells or any obstacles in the way that could cause someone to trip. Everything was good. I liked it. The size of the rooms was pretty modest. I've seen three different rooms, and they're pretty good-sized and roomy. The rooms downstairs have their own bathrooms. Some of the rooms upstairs have to share a bathroom, and some have individual private bathrooms. There's a shared shower."

"I went to St. Martha Villa. Everything was good. They had single and double rooms. You can bring your own television. There wasn't much where you could get an oven or anything like that, so it was very suitable for elderly people. The staff who gave the tour was very pleasant. They would even take the patients out to markets and stuff. They have a shuttle service where they can go to Giant Market or to other convenience stores."

"We toured The Manor at Market Square. The people were very nice and helpful, and they answered all our questions. It seemed like a caring place. The staff was very good, and she contacted me later, and we talked. It was very clean. The people were sitting in the lobby watching TV, and it seemed like a very nice place."

"My husband has been at Merrill Gardens at West Chester for a month now. The staff there is very competent and very much involved with my husband. They know him by name. He's not just a person there, they care for him. Anything we have asked of them, they have come through. The concierge people at the front desk are excellent. They are always in a good mood and very customer service oriented. Everybody is accessible from the manager to the head nurse, and they're always open to your visit. They have a diner where the residents can get their breakfast and lunch, and it's not just a stale type of dining room. They have a movie theater. Because they are at the end of the Brandywine Airport, they have what they call a control tower where you can go and see the planes land and take off, and they're encouraging the pilots to say hi to the residents that are there. And that is a big selling point. It is decorated with airplanes and stuff like that. They also have a lounge where 2 days a week you can have drinks, you can get together with friends, and the family can come in. It's completely open and the residents enjoy that. They have a little store that has the best presentation I have ever seen. They also have a place for you if you want to bring your family and have a private dinner with them. The surroundings of the building are kept very nice."

"I am a resident of Bellingham at West Chester. It's a very nice community, and very well set up. I love the way they have their meal plan set up there. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all available. For dinner, it's a white tablecloth restaurant that you go into. You can get a five-course meal at dinner if you choose or you can take and get a pizza or wings if you would like to. Compared to other communities in this area, it offers a very good value. It was completely redone for me before I moved in. The kitchen is small, but the kitchen has all new appliances in it. The luxury vinyl tile was put in the kitchen and living room, bathrooms, and a new very low-cut pile carpet was put in the bedroom. The entire apartment was painted. The apartment does have a balcony. I am at wheelchair level, and I can take and access the balcony with no problem with my wheelchair. The bathroom is not an issue. It was well designed with ADA standards which is very well incorporated into the bathroom. The people there have been very helpful. The sales manager has been tremendously helpful as far as getting me in and because of my situation, I haven't had any way to get much of my stuff moved, and they were able to take and provide me with the furniture and that sort of thing that I can take until my stuff gets there."

"I toured Freedom Village at Brandywine. It's a very pleasant environment for the residents. It does have varied amenities there, both indoors and outdoors. The staff was very pleasant, very helpful, and very informative. It was very clean, and they had a very efficient cleaning staff because I noticed them working around the building."

"Our mom, who will turn 96 shortly, has been residing at Traditions of Lansdale for approximately six months now. While it is no secret that placing a family member into care is never an easy decision, I am pleased to say that mom is thriving under their care ! She has her own private room, with a shared bath. She has all of her personal belongings with her, which truly makes it her home. The staff take wonderful care of her and respond quickly when ever she either needs or wants something. She enjoys the meals that are served and has made good friends with her table mates in the dining room. She especially enjoys the activities that are offered every day, from bingo to flower arrangements. The running joke in our family is that we almost have to make an appointment with mom to visit, so we don't cramp her style. All in all, we cannot recommend Traditions of Lansdale enough."

"The people at St. Mary Center For Rehabilitation & Healthcare were wonderful, very helpful, very knowledgeable, very professional, very amiable, personable, and very concerned that I learned what I would need to know to see if my father would be comfortable. The rooms were wonderful. Each room has its own mailbox. The studio was not too small. I thought it was the perfect size for my dad. They have a nice bathroom, nice storage, and you get your own door out into the courtyard. There's a couch there, and it's gorgeous. Their campus is like 22 acres, and they have various courtyards and barbecue areas, things that come alive a little more in the late spring and summer. They have their own little cement patios in each unit, so they can sit out and watch the birds, get some fresh air, and see what the neighbors are up to. It was just an upbeat place. They got a salon. It just seems like you wouldn't have to go anywhere if you were there. It's a very neat dining setup where it looks like a diner. I would love to go there every day. They have three squares and snacks, but they have a setup where they have like napkins, ketchup and mustard, and salt and pepper. It's very user-friendly."

"Keystone Villa at Fleetwood was very nice. I liked how the room was set up, but I also liked the various activities that they had. There are 133 people there, and the tour guide, Jackie, who's the public relations person, knew everyone we encountered, which says a lot for building that community. I met one of the activity directors, and the person at the front desk was very helpful. The staff was outstanding. It was very orderly, and I liked how they were having a jazz singer for the happy hour, which they do every Thursday. They have the ability to move their furniture to accommodate having things in different places."

"Hudson Estates Gracious Retirement Living was nice. I got literature and stuff. They only have like one- and two-bedroom. They said that once they get it cleaned up, that place will go. All of the amenities and all of the offerings that they have sound and look great. We got to speak to one of the people that lived there, and they said it was a wonderful place to be. I think it would be good for my father to be amongst the people with all the activities that they offer. It was a couple who assisted me and they were very great in answering questions and asking me if I had additional questions, which I didn't at the time. They gave me a nice packet to take and they also offered, since my dad did not go with me, us to come back and have lunch with them so we could taste the food because she swears by their meal plan. They did give me a giveaway, and it had a mug and a muffin. They had a garden and a wonderful dining room. They had several laundry facilities on each floor. They have a fitness center, a movie theater, and games places. They have a conference room type thing that they offer to the people that live there. They can have up to ten people have dinner in there and they serve you."
