I visited this facility

I toured Daylesford Crossing. It's a wonderful place, with wonderful people and very modern-looking rooms. The staff knows every resident by name, so everybody is on a first-name basis. They took me to their physical therapy room and event room. They were doing some events when I got there. They were having a magic show. They didn't have the level of care that my parents needed, but it was one of the top ones that we liked. They had a very small library. They had someone come once a week to do hair and nails. The gym was the physical therapy room, so it was a smaller room. It was more like an apartment building.

Facilities are fine, but indifferent and insufficient staff in the memory care unit. Our mom had bruises on her head and hands from rough handling, and one day I visited and was horrified to see her left with her head sideways on the table, drooling, with nobody even trying to help her. Don't put your parents here if they need a higher level of care. Management was also indifferent and sometimes even hostile, especially when it came to disagreements with the hospice care staff.

Provider Response

We take your comments very seriously and are always available for a discussion. While hospice care in our community is administrated through a private contract between the resident and hospice provider, we work to ensure the hospice relationship supports the resident's and family's needs and desires. We are sorry you had this experience. If you'd like, please let us know a convenient time for a conversation.

This was the worst experience ever. The management staff is the worst. They yes you to death and never change.People are fired left and right and they just have bad people who care more about money than the residents in charge. I know this because we left and our new facility is great. Get out if you are there and look somewhere else if you are looking for a family member!

I visited this facility

There is no green lawn on which to walk. In a basement beneath a highway, the recycled air is not fresh.

I visited this facility

Daylesford Crossing seemed new and clean. The rooms were nice. They had an activity room and a library. The dining area was very nice and looked like a restaurant. I did not have a meal, but they showed us the menu, and there was a lot of variety. The staff was very nice.

This place is amazing. We couldn't be happier, the building is beautiful, the staff are trained so well and very attentive, the food is delicious, they have huge fun parties every month - it feels like a cruise ship, with 24 hour nursing. It's amazing.
