"We visited Brookdale White Chapel (Formerly Emeritus at White Chapel), and it was very nice. There was a shared apartment, and we didn't care for that. The dining room was very nice also. There's security at the gate, and we sign in as guests. "

The facility is clean and the personel put their patients in first. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided as well as an assortment of activities for the guests such as badminton, water aerobics, swimming class, aerobics, dance classes, movie night, golf, board games and also a large television were the guests can enjoy their free time. This facility is great if you're looking for a place where people care. The second time I went I was looking for information for my grandmother. Although she ended up not living there she loved the facilities. "

"The visiting experience with Ivy Gables was wonderful and the person who showed me around was great. The place looked fine, but their residents were more non-mobile, so it just wasn't quite a good fit. They just need to improve on communication because I gave them all the patient's information, but I never heard from them again."

"The Vero at Newark is a brand-new facility, so everything is up to date. We met several of the staff, and they were all very friendly and welcoming. We ate lunch there and it was excellent. And I think they had a broader range of activities than some of the others. The rooms were very new and nice, but relatively small. I thought the food was excellent. There was a reasonable choice, and it was very good. The living atmosphere was very open, airy, bright, and very nice. They had entertainment coming in. The night we were there, they had a musician that was excellent. They had happy hours in their little cafe. There's a lot of things on their calendar. I can't remember all of them, but it was quite extensive. They have snacks, and they can watch sporting events. They have a theater available for rent. It was very nice."

"Harmony at Glasgow had no laundry and no full kitchen inside the apartments. The staff was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I saw the menu. The facilities were very clean, well-organized, bright, and cheerful."

"Chestnut Ridge was really nice. The staff seemed really nice and attentive there. Their rooms were very spacious, very clean, and very nice."

"Meadowcrest at Middletown was a beautiful place. The lady was very knowledgeable, very helpful, and very nice. She knew everything that she had to know. She even gave me advice on how to get extra help. The common area was beautiful. However, they only provide you with a certain amount of meals and the rest comes out of your pocket. If I had to go in there, I wouldn't think twice, but it was just costly. It looked clean. I didn't smell anything. I saw a lot of different rooms and different activities going on, which looked good. I saw some people playing a puzzle and others just walking around and watching TV. They just do whatever they wanted to do."

"Arbour Square at West Chester's rooms was nice, new, and clean, but the rooms were too small. The staff seemed fine."

"Our family member was a resident in the memory care unit at Rose Tree Place for over a year. We were impressed from our first visit by the friendliness and caring of the staff-starting with a call to Mike, a greeting at the reception desk and a tour of the unit. After he became a resident some changes were made in the nursing staff and things just got better. Lines of communication (so important) were always open. Medications were altered to ensure his safety and well being. The facility was always bright and clean, his room was clean and his person was clean. He loved the food! The support we received when he passed was heartwarming but not surprising as the staff is 100% about their residents. "

"St. Martha Villa was very nice and the tour experience was also very nice. The place felt homey, and they're making improvements all the time. The rooms were generally adequate and were a good size. I saw the studio and a very nice 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom. The staff who gave the tour was very accommodating and wonderful. The dining area looks nice but we did not eat any food."

"Daylesford Crossing was clean, and the facilities were great. The staff did a wonderful job. The room, the food, the menu and their dining room were adequate. They had everything there."

"Eagleview Landing was new. They had all the amenities that you would ever expect and it looked immaculate. However, they're not amenable to higher levels of personal care. They led us to believe they would accept my mom, and when they did the assessment, we got another story, but it was the most impressive facility we saw."

"I toured Echo Lake, and it was worth a six. It was like being in a luxury hotel. It was gorgeous. Everything that you can imagine they have, except for the chapel. They have doctors' offices. They have a gym. They had a huge art room, and a bus to take you places, like a weekly run to the supermarket, within a certain distance. Also, to doctor's offices if you didn't want to use the doctor that was there at the building. It's a couple of stories high. It was huge. For me it was expensive. They had a lot of two-bedroom units there as well."

"Terraces at Parke Place was very nice, very clean, beautiful, and big. The staff seemed to be a little standoffish. The dining area was very clean. The décor was very pretty. The rooms were a nice size. Everything about it seemed very nice except I did not get a homey feeling. "
