"My uncle is at home and is being cared for by a company called Bayada. They are providing nurses round the clock. It is expensive, but the decision by the family was made that he does best at home. He does have a peg tube in the stomach at this point because his swallowing had deteriorated. He had pneumonia twice, and he had saved money all his life so he could be taken care of. That’s his wish, and that is what we’re doing for him now. Bayada is an agency which provides nursing care in the home; this can be RNs, CNAs or LPNs. He has several nurses that are scheduled during the week -- maybe about 5 or 6 -- but because it’s round the clock care, you’ve got to have a number of people in place. It’s been working relatively well as far as their scheduling goes, and they are keeping the doctor and the family informed of his status. We did have one or two persons during the night who fell asleep, and that’s not acceptable. "

"We have a caregiver from Interim Healthcare Delaware who is very polite, nice and willing to do anything that you ask her to do. She can take blood pressure, home care, and sit with my wife who has Alzheimer's and go through pictures with her to try to keep her occupied. She made lunch for my wife today, did some dusting and cleaning around the bedroom where my wife sleeps, and helped her dress and bathe. "

"I was very satisfied with Suma Home Care. The caregiver's name is Cindy and my uncle got along very well with her. She went above and beyond for him. She would come come and make sure he got something to eat like breakfast before he leaves. She makes sure he had taken his medicine. She makes sure he dressed properly for daycare. She would help him get on the bus. She also helped with light housekeeping. She did things for him that she didn't have to do. We really loved it. I was very satisfied. "

"We have OT and PT coming in from Bayada Home Health Gloucester. The therapists were very knowledgeable. I'm very pleased with them, and I gained some insights from them. I'm very satisfied. They actually took care of my stepdad a few years back when he was in hospice care (before his transfer to a nursing home). I'm very pleased."

"I have hired Home Helpers and am highly satisfied. They are coming in twice a week for two or three hours doing cleaning, meal prep help, and some rides to and from appointments. The caregiver is excellent ay caring for my parents very well and has told me it's as if they are her own parents. They send weekly invoices, and I pay them through my parents’ bank account online, so it is very easy. They keep communication open with scheduling. They are flexible if I need to add a day or add a ride on a day that I know my caregiver is available. They are on time and very reliable. If there is a day that I need them and the original caregiver is not available, the original person I met with is always available, or someone is always available. We are very happy, and my parents love their caregiver. "

The staff is very nice and accommodating to my mother's needs. She even talks about them as her personal friends. I would highly recommend them. "

"I have another service that we use a lot for my mother - The Millennium Home Health. They are incredibly wonderful. The nurse is incredible. First of all, she is on the ball, and she knows her stuff. She talks in layman's language, and she doesn't beat around the bush. When you're in this situation, you want somebody who is going to be candid and tell you the truth. "

"I've had them for a month. They're very good and excellent. They come out a minimum of four hours so I have them for six hours for my father. They can be a live-in or they can stay permanently if you want. Their fees run anywhere from $13 to $15 an hour for the nurse to come out; the agency gets $5 an hour. They do everything; they cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for him as well as give him his medications. They do housecleaning and go to a grocery store if he needs groceries. They even take him out to eat if he wants to. They're very good, excellent. "
