I visited 12 different senior living facilities before I chose Harbor Chase for my parents. I am so glad I did. The staff is genuinely caring and kind. The food is excellent and the entertainment committee goes above and beyond to ensure that the residents have a wide variety of activities and entertainment. The facility is small enough that the staff gets to know everyone and provides personalised care to the residents. I can't say enough good things about Harbor Chase!

The rooms are dirty. The aides do not answer the call bells. The aides always are curt. They complain that they have over 100 patients to wait on not just my friend. The food is terrible. When, I comment the chef tells me Well everyone else loved it. We are asked to wait in line for food when they are not doing anything. The aides tell me the reason they did not answer the three bells calls in a half hour is that Her call bell must need a new battery. When they do finally help they tell a 96 frail old woman too stand up and she tries..then they toss her back in her chair without adjusting pillow or electric lounge chair. Harbor Chase staff is horrific. Always threatening to get rid of my friend when I complain.

I went to HarborChase of Wilmington. It was decent. We put that place aside because the rooms they had open, we didn't like where it was open up. It's right in the general lobby. The room was nice. The color is nice but I just wish the location of the room in the building would sit right. The staff was good, nice, and friendly.

HarborChase of Wilmington was very nice, very new, and very clean. The person that I interacted with was very knowledgeable and very courteous. The place was very airy. It's relatively new, I think about two or three years old. Everything I saw was very nice and very impressive. I saw nothing derogatory or anything else with HarborChase. The difference with the other place is they don't furnish the rooms. I would have to bring everything in right off the bat, which made it a little difficult.

HarborChase of Wilmington is brand new, very nice, well landscaped, bright, and cheerful inside. The room is much bigger and nicer. The way they do things seems to be better as far as communal dining and stuff like that. The rooms are hugely better, brighter, and have furniture in them. There's a closet and a bathroom. They have a very nice outside patio, and it's very nicely landscaped. The residents can go out there. I like it very much. It's cheaper than the other facility.

HarborChase of Wilmington is a top-rated facility. It's one of the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. It's well taken care of. The management is fantastic, and the services are just above and beyond expectations. It's a beautiful place to live for people who are looking for assisted living and can afford that type of quality. The rooms were gorgeous, and there was a kitchen. It was very modern. No matter where you looked around the room, it was just absolutely immaculately clean. I met several of the staff, and they were all very cordial, courteous, and professional.

HarborChase of Wilmington seemed to have a lot of staff members available. So, there's more individual attention and that's why we moved my father in there. It's clean, bright, and engaging. The memory care has a lot of activities throughout the day and interaction. His room is clean and a perfect size. I've alsot looked at other places that were the on same price, but they were less appealing and had less offerings than this facility.

I toured HarborChase of Wilmington's assisted living. The rooms were very nice, very updated, and it looked like there were a lot of activities for the residents to do. I know they have a hair salon, which was nice, for the residents to use. They have art and a lot of things that they would be interested in. I didn't see the menu, but they had about 3 different restaurants. When I asked the lady who was giving the tour if the food was good, because a lot of times it's not, she said it was. Just the way it looked though, I think it would be good. The upkeep was very good too. The staff was very good, very helpful, and very friendly.

HarborChase of Wilmington invited us to a community party. They had a Cinco de Mayo party last week, and they invited us and other people who were interested. It was very nice. My mom is still in the very early stages of dementia and is very physically active, and we thought that that community would fit her personality and her needs at this point. They had a lot of activities, and they had an outside walking trail. The staff was lovely. We talked to a lot of the residents, and they said they're really happy. It was beautiful and it was extremely clean, I toured it twice, and each time it was kept very clean. I was there last Wednesday.

My parents are in HarborChase of Wilmington, and I've been very happy with them, so far. The staff members call me right away. If I have any questions, they're very helpful. They're currently on a 2-week quarantine, so they haven't been able to do anything yet in terms of activities and amenities. The facility is beautiful, and they have a lot of amenities. They have a bocce court outside and when it's nice weather, it would be really nice for them to be outside. They've gone really out of their way to be helpful and welcoming to my parents.
