"My Aunt was brought to this facility with terminal cancer. During the last 3 days of her life, while I was present, I was completely blown away by the attentiveness and compassion shown by every single staff member we came in contact with. The staff relocated my Aunt's roommate so that we (3-4 family members) could we with her at all hours. Not only was my Aunt attended to every hour, the staff checked with us (the visitors) too. We were given a beverage and snack cart- hot coffee, tea, ice water, snack bars and crackers. We were given extra chairs so we could comfortably sit bedside. I witness every caregiver administering medication or attending any needs, address my Aunt directly and respectfully before preforming their duties- even at the end when she was unresponsive. The genuine concern for my Aunt and our family was remarkable and we cannot say enough about how glad we are that her remaining days were made so comfortable. Thank you for caring! We also saw therapy dogs making rounds inside the facility one day as well as a choir preforming."

"This is the first nursing home I have been in that didn't have "that" smell. So clean, open, and friendly. The care our mom got was excellent. The staff, awesome. Over the years we have had more than our fair share of relatives needing the care of Twin Lakes. They treat the residences as family and do everything they can to make them feel "at home." Lots of hugs and love in this facility. And they are also good with family and visitors. "

"This facility has great wound care, rehab, and respiratory care. Also, a huge renovation of the building is in progress. I have no complaints with the care my grandmother is receiving. "

"The only place that I really like was The William Penn Place. It was great. We got to go in and looked at all the rooms. We looked at single rooms, and we also looked at double rooms. They had some accommodations for people that are just great. I love the theater that they had for them. They have a place where they can sit out on the deck and get some sun. They can eat their lunch out there. I thought it was wonderful, but we couldn’t afford it. I was very impressed with this place. "

"I ended up in Latrobe for a leg injury for four weeks. They had Alzheimer's/dementia care there. There were very few nights where I was uncomfortable at all. It was OK, and that is why I would consider it for my mom. It’s just a little bit too restrictive and older but clean. "

"After I fell and broke my wrist the quality of care I received from the nurses and doctors really impressed me. However, 2 (almost 3) years later, multiple phone calls, emails, reviews placed online and with their billing department, they still have not submitted my bills properly and I have been turned over to a collection agency. If I had to do it all over again, I would have rather walked around with a broken arm for 3 days than deal with their staff for this long after my injury. "

"My mom is set up in Amber House at Harmon House. She's been there a week. They don't have appliances in the room, they have a regular cafeteria, and they cook the meals for them. The staff is very helpful, they're busy, but they do take time to return your phone calls and everything. They gave her a menu and she got to pick out what she wanted. So she was pleased with it. It's very clean. They have physical therapy, and they have parties, like for Halloween, they're planning a Halloween party."

"The rooms could use a paint job to brighten them up. The staff is always kind and accommodating when I need assistance with my family member. It is always festive looking during all the holidays for the resistant's and they definitely make an effort to try to improve the place."

"Golden Living Center is good. The apartments are good. They had activities like games, barbeques, different skills, and crafts that they learn. A doctor from the hospital refers my mother there. "

"My father was in Woodhaven Care Center before for rehab. It was OK, but they're understaffed, and there's just not enough people. There's only one lady, and there are 40 patients, but the staff was knowledgeable. I liked the rooms; they have big windows, and the rooms get a lot of light."

"At Cedars, the building was older, but the rooms were big. When we were there, we saw people interacting in an exercise class, and they seemed to be enjoying it. The person we talked to was very informative. "
