"My mother has stayed there twice after hip surgery and after knee surgery. After a hip replacement now my wife is there and the people are friendly and very helpful and the Rehab Services are excellent. If I needed to rehab I would go there"

"I was so upset at first sight of this "highly rated" facility as we brought my loved one in. There is not enough staffing, and the aides are worked too hard. There are caring individuals, but almost 95% of the time your loved one is left to wander alone. No one can be taken to the bathroom while dinner is being served, while they take them to dinner, or bring them back. Elderly people must WAIT till staff is ready for them to go. Not the cleanest place either. Not enough liquids given for proper hydration. WAY too many people in the building- no personal care for anyone! Anyone who has made progress on recovery from a stroke or heart attack or injury will backslide rather than progress with healing. There is NO future in this place! Very Depressing and truly difficult to remove a loved one from once they are there. "

"The rooms at Oak Hill were nice. They were sufficient for the needs and were neat and clean. The staff people were all very pleasant. Their dining area looked very nice, it was neat and clean, and they were assisting residents, who needed help with feeding. They were also expensive. They had a lovely garden area where patients could go out. They do gym and physical therapy, or if the residents just want to do a little workout or get some exercise. They had a lot of activities on their activity board. They have things to keep people busy, and all the residents seemed to be having a good time. "

"My mother is in Saint Anne Home Greensburg for rehab. We're pretty pleased and we didn't really have any complaints. I think the staff is very good, my mom had good treatment. I thought the food was excellent, but my mother is picky. She participated in bingo, they made jewelry, and she did art class, an exercise class, ball class and a lot of the activities. Her room was clean, she had somebody else in her room but the lady wasn't in the room very often. Overall, the room was fine. When you ask questions, the staff answers you right away."

"I was a resident for 23 days a year ago because of a broken leg and shoulder and certainly would go back again if necessary. The staff took excellent care of me and were very compassionate. The meals were excellent! "

"We have settled on Redstone Presbyterian SeniorCare. I like that the people that are caring for my husband are very conscientious, friendly, positive, and helpful. The facility is very clean. They clean the room every day. They have cafes, they have a music room, and they have activity rooms where children can entertain themselves a little bit. There are fireplaces and sitting areas. It's very, very pleasant. Everyone is very caring, genuinely. My husband says the food is OK. It looks like a nice variety. They have a lady that runs a little cafeteria, and she makes the food fresh, and it's excellent. My husband had just moved to personal care, but he had an episode that landed him back in the hospital. He is going back to Redstone. So as far as activities go, all I've seen him do is OT and PT, but they offer things that he has not engaged in. Regarding value for money, it seems fair to me."

"I ended up in Latrobe for a leg injury for four weeks. They had Alzheimer's/dementia care there. There were very few nights where I was uncomfortable at all. It was OK, and that is why I would consider it for my mom. It’s just a little bit too restrictive and older but clean. "

"The rooms could use a paint job to brighten them up. The staff is always kind and accommodating when I need assistance with my family member. It is always festive looking during all the holidays for the resistant's and they definitely make an effort to try to improve the place."

"Briarcliff Pavilion is a lot better than the other places we went to or had my father in. I think the rooms are nice and comfortable. I didn't get to sample the food, but it smelled good. The staff members are all very nice and polite. It is nice and clean, and the staff is on it. "

"The people in Bethlehem Home was good and friendly. The room wasn't that great. I just didn't like the setup. However, it's a nice place and they had nice waiting rooms everywhere. They focus more on the care that's needed. "

"My mother is in Mt. Macrina Manor. It's very homey, clean, and bright. The people are kind. They answered our questions. They're informative and helpful. They seem caring about my mom. I don't know if it was an actual gym or not, but I've seen workout equipment, and they have nice dayrooms with activities."

"I had two family members here in the past and was very happy with the care both times. Excellent activities, rooms happily decorated for every holiday, and staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional care!"

"My wife's uncle is in Havencrest Nursing Center now. It's more of a skilled nursing facility. The staff is caring, and he's kept clean well. He's terminal and bedridden right now, so he's really not involved in any activities. Every time we see him, he's clean, shaved, and bathed. The room is clean. The facility is clean. The staff is extremely compassionate, especially their social services, which is extremely helpful in assisting the family. They have a nice activity room where they have bingo and card games, which we witnessed when we were there, and therapy."
