"I recently had foot surgery and was fortunate to find an opening at Concordia at Villa St. Joseph for rehab services. My room was in the Ebensburg wing and the care staff was very professional and caring. Every time they attended to me, they always asked if there was anymore they could do to help. The food was good (other than spinach and broccoli). The menu was very diverse and with the ala carte options, there was always plenty to eat. I enjoyed working with the rehab staff. I had both PT and OT services and found both very knowledgeable and eager to find solutions to fit my needs. The room was very comfortable, containing a bed, recliner, dresser, tv and a couple of chairs for visitors. I also had a private bathroom, and both the room and bathroom were cleaned daily. Upon waking up in the middle of the night, I noticed that I was having difficulty breathing. Within minutes my room was filled with people. I was impressed with how fast they responded, how well they worked together as a team and how one nurse remained with me once my situation was resolved. That nurse sat with me and explained the vitals they took and how everything was normal and if there was an actual emergency, I would be taken to the hospital. My experience with Concordia at Villa St. Joseph was very positive and they helped me reach my goal of returning home."

"It is a single floor facility. Mom has a roommate. It's a lockdown facility. She wears a bracelet and it sets off an alarm if she's near the door. They're very good with occupational and physical therapy, and adjusted her care to her needs. They're helpful with her medications and she's doing really well. They have a lot of activities for them and they have picnics. The employees provide entertainment and they have daily activities that residents participate in and go to."

"The Village at St. Barnabas Health System was really well maintained and the staff apparently really cares about how they treat folks. They were very courteous and wonderful when we visited. The place is beautiful and it's self-contained if you want it to be. They have dining areas there, a store, a bank, a post office, and a movie theater. They even have trips to the stores. I just think it will work out well for my friend. The apartments in the independent living were very well taken care of. For every new tenant that comes in, they replace the rugs and paint. They were beautiful. For the dining areas, there were two restaurants. One was more informal than the other. The main dining room has white tablecloths and you are waited on. You could order your food from a menu and I think that's pretty amazing."

"My wife was a patient at Wexford Healthcare Center. I thought the care was excellent ! The therapy staff were so good with her - they got her up and walking within no time. The nursing staff took great care of her. The nurse aides got to know my wife so well that she knew each one of them by name and still talks about how well they took care of her. I would not hesitate to recommend them!"

"When I visited the facility it was very clean and the staff was friendly. My aunt likes the food, a variety of food choices. Alternative is option if what is scheduled on the menu. Love the activities, and staff. She is very happy living there. There is something going on everyday. My aunt enjoys the morning exercise, games,special events,birthdays, social tea and coffee and Bingo."

"My mom was in Vincentian Home and she loved it there, but it was too expensive to keep her there. But while she was there, everybody was attentive to her, and they would come in and visit with her. She was not able to go to any meals or any activities because of her illness, but the nurses and aides made her very comfortable and took care of her every need. She said the food was delicious. She doesn't eat very much, but they were trying to fatten her up a little bit so they'd bring her everything for each meal. She was so comfortable there that the last week we took a respite, she wanted to stay. She was so relaxed and happy there. So I would say excellent care and attention is given to each resident. It was clean, it was pretty, and kept well, and everybody was sensitive to her needs. Her room was perfect, it was just for her. It was not large, but it was decorated nicely. She had a pretty view from her window that she could look out and check to see what was going on, and she had everything she needed. She had a TV, and a recliner, her bathroom was modern and clean, and everything was spotless. So I would say it was a very nice room. She was very comfortable. I just think it's very exorbitant, it's like $450 a day, which is a lot."

"My mother is in North Hills Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She's in skilled nursing and will probably just move down to their memory care unit in another few days. They do physical and occupational therapy. I don't have any problems with them. We've only been there a week. They seem to be very caring, and even though it seems like everybody has a lot of duties to do, they still do them with kindness and dignity. The cleanliness is fine. I don't have any problem with it at all. Every day, I see people cleaning and taking care of it. We've just been to the physical therapy room, and they have a nice TV room. Her room is kept up. It's clean. It's a room with two beds and a bathroom, and the bathroom looks like it's kept clean. I don't have any problem so far. The staff has been very helpful. They look like they have all kinds of things to do."

"My mom has been at Kane Ross Nursing Home for about six weeks now. Everything's going well. The facility is very clean, people there are like family so it's good. I gave it a rating of four. If it were a brand new facility, I would have given it a five. It's an old facility but it's clean. We would recommend this place. "

"I liked Masonic Village at Sewickley's plan and the way they set it up. You enter with an entrance fee and then you pay a monthly fee that never changes. You can go through memory care, assisted living, and nursing home, but the price never changes. It's always the same. In light of how expensive nursing homes are right now, it's a relief to find something that has that plan. The facilities were beautiful and very clean. You have a choice of villas or different size apartments and they were all excellent. If you move into an apartment, they put new carpeting in, new paint, and do upgrades. Some have had new cabinets put in. The dining area was very pleasant. There's also a workout room, an Olympic-sized pool, walking trails, a bus that picks you up, a woodshop, and lots of rooms for different reasons whether it's playing cards or making crafts. There's a little bit of everything. I've seen the list of activities and it's phenomenal."

"My mom has been at providence for a week and a half. The staff have been outstanding in every department. I get called anytime anytime changes with my mom. I get told as soon as I walk in how's she's doing in rehab, if her meds changed and what doctor appointment I need to make it to next. The room is awesome. The food is good I have weekly meetings with the head of all the departments and they update me on my mom's progress. I could go on and on! My mom is doing amazing. Thank you Providence!"

"The Nurses, Nurse Aides, and the Therapy team are all very friendly, compassionate, and helpful. They are always there to help in any way that they can be of assistance. They all truly want you to get better than ever. I have been to other homes before, and this has been far and away the best place. I got a feeling of being in a hotel. It was glamourous, and had a luxury feel to it. The food is tasty there as well. Well done Brighton! "

"I just want to take this time to give a shout out to the Concordia at Rebecca Residence in Allison Park. to all the staff from the front desk to all the care givers that treated my sister Nina with love, and treating her like their own family member.
