From someone who has seen the wonderful changes before and after the new owners transformed the property, this is Beaver County's best choice, by far. Tremendous rehabilitation team, choices for meals, gorgeous new spa, and Pub are all reasons Rochester Manor and Villa are head and shoulders above the rest. On site Medical Director and local ownership that care about their residents means Beaver Countians take better care of Beaver Countians.

I was admitted after receiving a colostomy within the first 4 hours I had fallen, I put the call light on to get help to the bathroom after an hour of no response I barely make it to the bathroom pull the emergency call button 20 minutes no response so I tried to make it back to bed falling I moved forward abit so they could see my arm in the hall screaming for help no one heard until another patient started screaming for a nurse finally they responded after 25 minutes when I asked for pain medicine the supervisor suggested it was my fault the hospital didn’t send it. I told her call the on call doctor for a prescription only to be told there wasn’t one she would have to call the corporation. Lastly this place gave me everything you are not allowed to eat such as corn, chili with beans, tomatoes sausage all of which can cause problems with a newly formed colostomy when I brought this issue up they told me I could have toast or French toast sticks but they were not going to conform to my dietary needs. I asked to see the doctor they said you need to do it virtually or by phone they don’t have a doctor to come in an see you an if she couldn’t get my pain meds they would repeatedly send me to the hospital. Admitted March 15 need to have a talk with state licensing board and United health care. If you are a post operative patient avoid this place.

When I visited the facility it was very clean and the staff was friendly. My aunt likes the food, a variety of food choices. Alternative is option if what is scheduled on the menu. Love the activities, and staff. She is very happy living there. There is something going on everyday. My aunt enjoys the morning exercise, games, special events, birthdays, social tea and coffee and Bingo.

Most staff were not nice. Had to wait some times hours for assistance. Many times would not provide water, ice, or medication. Yelled at at individuals for asking for assistance. Sometimes put food beyond reach and did not come back for hours to assist or check on. Staff constantly complained they are over worked and individuals needed to wait their turn. They were also heard talking in the hall about individuals and making them wait Right now not a good place. I highly do not recommendA

The room I saw at Rochester Manor was very small. Two people share one little room with a single bed on each side of the room, one TV, and a dresser. The plus side about it was the price was a little bit more reasonable. They were willing to kind of accept my mom's social security, so it would be more of a chance. It had a huge dining area, a nice kitchen area, and all that was nice. I just feel it's a little unreasonable for two people to live in this one little room and share a bathroom and a TV. I think that's a little unrealistic. They were even smaller than a hospital room, but you could actually opt to have a private room; it's just the price definitely would go up. The facility was clean and nice. The residents I saw seemed happy.

My mom lives here. She calls upset all the time. There's no staff. They've been having issues since my mom went there but now they have days with one aide on an entire floor. My mom can't get the care she needs. She said the food is awful and they're always out of snacks. The third floor is nice but the fourth floor is neglected. There are very few nice staff members. The direct who I liked even quit. There's no activities since the coronavirus, the restaurant is closed and the patients are locked in their rooms 24 hours a day. They're not even allowed to get in the shower. If I could move my mom I would but I can't get any place nice to take now that there's positive coronavirus cases with patients and staff. BIG mistake for our family. Choose another place of you have a chance.

Excellent choices for my loved one. Superb care. Medical Director ON STAFF. Beautiful, new areas that include a Pub, Spa, Restaurant, and more. On site rehab is second to none!!!!

They took great care of my grandmother and have amazing amenities that no other place in Beaver Co had, (or anywhere for that matter) like a Pub and restaruant style dining room. Even the bathing areas were beautiful. Nice rooms as well. Very clean, and staff were amazing. Great therapy. Fun activities. Would highly recommend.

I was also able to visit Rochester Manor and Villa. If you can't afford it, they lose contact with you. They don’t make you feel comfortable, and it would not be the one that we were looking for. The rooms were nice, and they were in the process of remodeling. All in all, the facility was OK, but it didn’t give us a homey feeling.

Flies crawling all over residents in their rooms. Fruit flies in their drinking glasses. The place smells like urine, and I saw dried feces on the floor. Don't they have housekeeping staff? Seems understaffed, and I heard there are a lot of falls. I don't recommend this facility to anyone.

Everybody seems very nice at Rochester Manor. My mother was pretty much in a vegetable state when she got there. I just wanted her to have good care. She's taking up a little bit now. I might look for another place for her. The rooms could be more cheery. They're very dull. But they're going to be remodeling. I'm waiting to see what the remodeled place will look like. We'll see in the spring. I think they need more staff.

I would not recommened this facility to anyone. It's okay if your loved one can pretty much take care of themselves, but if they need 24 hr. care, forget it! Understaffed and noncaring!

They took excellent care of my father and my family while we were there in my father's last days. The staff was very caring and comforting in our time of need. The nursing staff was wonderful considering the circumstances.
