"I was at Bayside Rehabilitation and Health Center. The rehab people were very good. The nurses were not very good and not very caring, and the doctors came in very, very short, literally 5 minutes at most to spend time with you. They were good doctors and they tried to do the best for you, but they were only allotted so much money. The food was terrible. They kept the place very clean, but the structure of the building was not very good at all. They had all kinds of games and they watched TV. They tried to do things with their residents, and that was one thing that they were good about."

"Don’t judge a book by its cover. Yes, is an old facility, however the care my mom received was outstanding. Staff was very visible, kind, caring and compassionate and accommodating. This is a small place with a homey atmosphere. Much better care than other beautiful, shiny, well decorated rehab facilities she was in before. "

"Putting a relative into skilled nursing on a permanent basis is a tough decision. I am a court appointed guardian and sister of a resident. I can not say enough good things about the Staff at Laurelwood. The professional staff is very caring and DO, ADON, Social worker and activities director are especially vigilant and caring. The majority of CNAs are quite good as well. Nursing staff for the most part are good and caring. This is a small facility that makes getting around easier for for residents. This facility is especially adept at managing residents with behavioral and mental Heath issues. "

Currently, with the covid pandemic, as a family we have watched with gratitude the extra steps MM has taken to keep our mother safe and healthy. While I sorely miss the opportunities to hug my mom, I know that she is being well taken care of ."

The program provides healthcare, socialization, activities and nutritional care for seniors in a warm, compassionate environment. In its most recent satisfaction survey in January 2019, the Irv Weissman Adult Day Center received a 99% satisfaction score. "The Masonic Home was clean, well run, prompt with answering questions and seemed dedicated towards the care of their residents. They were well staffed and fast to help. The Masonic Home seemed to offer numerous activities for residents as well as showing a dedication to making sure residents received any additional care they needed. The food was excellent and well prepared and service to rooms was fast and on time. The rates for non-masons were more than competitive and the rates for masons were some of the best in the industry. I also noticed that the Masonic Home held almost no infringements from any governmental rating bored and ranked as the highest in the state. Honestly the Masonic Home seemed to be the best choice for the area with no question. Everything from the staff, to the facilities, to the general philosophy was absolutely top-notch with no lacking areas. I would personally recommend the masonic home to everyone looking for a place to live out their days in comfort and peace. "

"I used to visit this facility as volunteer to assist residents in their spiritual needs. This facility was heart breaking since is dedicated mainly to residents with psychological conditions. The number of staff was very limited so I realized that the time invested on each patient was not enough to cover their total needs. The facility as a whole had many issues providing adequate meals to the residents. Nurses where kind but because they had more than 20 patients each, everything was done fast paced. I still think is a good facility because they also have a great responsibility on caring with all this residents and their psychological conditions. To be completely honest I realized that a person needs a lot of heart to work at this place, sometimes patients will get very aggressive towards the staff or other residents. That was a little bit scary, but I the end they are still people that need love and understanding. "

"I think the egret Cove Center is a very nice nursing home/rehab center. The personnel are very friendly, Effecient and they know what they are doing. My husband was there for three weeks and they gave him good care and therapy"

"Abbey Rehab and Nursing Center is not the best looking, but it has lots of good service. The medical staff is very attentive and my daughter is happy there. They have nurses and nurses' aides, and two doctors who come daily to check on the patients. The staff is fine, very good, and very friendly. "
