I found the nursing staff to be friendly, and caring. Most of the cna,s are hard working, and helpful. I enjoyed therapy. The therapists are very good, and can make it fun. The activity department is a busy place, with bingo, cooking, manicures, gardening, live music, and more. The bathroom floor was always dirty, and complaining didn,t do any good.

My friend had a bad stroke. She is 76 years old and she has been waiting over an hour for someone to get her to the bathroom!!!! That place is an ABOMINATION!!! They only have 2 people there today to help over 60 residents!!!

Please dont let your family members go here! My mother was admitted for 1 month of skilled nursing. She did NOT get the care she needed, and was released without being ready for Assisted Living, even though they told us she was. She couldnt walk, bathe, or toilet herself! She would call us crying because she had fallen out of bed, or needed her medication, and nobody responded to her when she pushed the button. We would have to call the facility to tell them to go to her room! Our phone calls were not returned, even from the DIRECTOR, and we were lied to and information was withheld from us.

I know Golfview Nursing Home because I had a family member that lived there recently. Overall I would say Golfview Nursing Home is definitely not the worst I have seen, but by far the best, it didn't have a bad odor as some I found have, the bedrooms were not too small and they each had 2 beds per room and a curtain between the beds for a little privacy. Each room had a bathroom that they shared. The food was fairly colorful when served, but noticed a few of the residents did not eat most of what they had been served. The best things I liked about Golfview Nursing Home were: The facility did not have a bad odor. It was pretty secure The staff seemed to be friendly and majority of patients were happy. The worst things I found about Golfview nursing Home were: Once you walked inside the halls where the residents were it was very noisy. There is no seating for visitors when they come, you have to ask a staff member to find you a chair. Some of the patients sitting in the hallways were not properly clothed (clothing too small or not adequate). Parking is not good for visitors, you have to park on the street. Inside was very gray and depressing.
