I used to visit this facility as volunteer to assist residents in their spiritual needs. This facility was heart breaking since is dedicated mainly to residents with psychological conditions. The number of staff was very limited so I realized that the time invested on each patient was not enough to cover their total needs. The facility as a whole had many issues providing adequate meals to the residents. Nurses where kind but because they had more than 20 patients each, everything was done fast paced. I still think is a good facility because they also have a great responsibility on caring with all this residents and their psychological conditions. To be completely honest I realized that a person needs a lot of heart to work at this place, sometimes patients will get very aggressive towards the staff or other residents. That was a little bit scary, but I the end they are still people that need love and understanding.
