"Do not believe all the negativity. I stayed here to recover from my surgery and the staff is AMAZING. They took great care of me and were very helpful with my recovery. Rehab department is excellent. No nursing is home is perfect, but the care provided here is great. I will return. "

"Debary Manor is an OK facility. They have a separate rehab wing which we weren't interested in. It was just like a temporary facility although they did have long term care. The staff was very friendly and willing to help us too. The facility was very clean as well. They have pretty large rooms, and they were very clean. "

"The nurses and CNA' s did a great job. I have had my parents in this hospital three times. My concern each time is that the hospitalist Dr. assigned wanted to discharge my parents each time without the requested specialist seeing them or consulting with them.. I had to insist on it and the specialist each time said they needed treatment and did not discharge them. I'm not sure if I would use this hospital again because we haven't had a good hospitalist Dr. yet. The covering hospitalist Dr.on the weekend was rude and uncaring and said I was trying to keep my parent in the hospital and she wasn't going to get any better when I said the specialist had ordered tests and were monitoring her. The ER was good. "

"My mom is at Healthcare & Rehab of Sanford. I would say that it's top tier. They take care of the residents. They spend time with them, they feed them, and they tend to them. They have a lot of good, strong workers there. The grounds and upkeep are okay. There's nothing extravagant, but it's decent. They keep it very clean. It's not a huge facility, but it is a nice size. Some of the activities they have are bingo, movies, and board games. They do a lot of things. The food is okay. A lot of people can't chew, so they have soft food they can eat. Like my mother, she is having dental problems, and they're very attentive to that. They have a dental hygienist come in, like every week or every two weeks, and check on the residents. My mother can't eat solid foods too well, and she has mouth pain. I just called them the other day, and they have somebody helping her out."

"I chose Indigo Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation for Dad because it was right next to my job. It's been really good the whole time. The TV reception is not good and it's all snowy but other than that the nurses are super nice. They take care of him very well. They have common areas like a banquet room, and they've got a big old TV in there. That's where you go outside and the people that want to smoke, they can go out there. The food is bad. Today I went to visit my dad, they didn't have clean sheets. All they did was take off the top layer of the sheet and just leave him with the bottom layer."

"Port Orange Nursing and Rehabilitation was wonderful. The rooms were very nice. My mother-in-law was in a shared room. She did not like the food that much. They had ice cream parties, and there were people coming in to sing. They had arts and crafts. It was clean. There was no smell. The people working there were very nice. "

"I am in Emory L Bennett. It is nice, and the staff is very friendly. I haven’t been here that long, but they take care of me pretty good. They also have movies and an exercise room. "

"The hospital where my husband was at placed him in rehab at Lake Mary. He's getting therapy there. The facility is fair and actually very clean. I find the staff quite fine, but food isn't very good. "

"When I parked at The Terrace of Daytona Beach I thought how beautiful the building and landscaping was. As I walked inside I also thought it was very tastefully decorated and spacious. All the residents I noticed when I first walked in seemed to be very happy and either chatting or enjoying a television show or just walking around getting excerise. I was met by a very friendly staff member and she informed me that the residents all are quite happy living at this facility and I agree. Everyone was extremely friendly and happy. I noticed that they offer a wide variety of activities for the residents and also a variety of outings. This facility is located very close to the largest shopping mall in Daytona Beach so everyday they offer a shopping outing to the mall. The menu has a wide variety of items and many specialty diets are also listed. I arrived just before lunch so I was able to smell and actually see the lunch items as they were being prepared. There are walkways outside so the residents can enjoy the fresh air, there are several television rooms, quiet day rooms so the residents can enjoy a good book if they wish and there's even a courtyard and a patio outside for those that like to be outdoors. "

"My mom is staying at Solaris HealthCare Daytona and we have no complaints at all. The staff is great, very accommodating, very helpful, and very caring. I love everything and I feel comfortable with her there. Maybe they can have a little bit better food, but other than that, everything is great there and they have a nice dining room. Right now, she shares a room but she can be in a private room if she wishes. They do activities every week with the residents. They do bingo, coloring, crossword, they have a Grandparents' Day, and they have a variety of things. Though the facility is nice, it's outdated and maybe needs a little updating."

"Family was in there , on call bell for 20-45 minutes, nurses arguing with residents about what meds were given , nurses look like they are all in something "

"My mother recently had a short rehab stay in this facility. The therapists and staff were wonderful, and the facility was clean every time I visited her. Mom's pulmonologist recommended outpatient rehab, and she is going to continue going back to Coastal twice a week for that as well. I recommend this facility for the excellent care that they gave my mom, and because they treated her like family. "

"The care my loved one has received at thus facility has been exceptional. He has received the most compassiinate, high quality care ever. The facility is exceptionally clean. Wonderful atmispgere. Patient centered, personaluzed care given. Loving staff. Definitely a Godly place to be. Good food and wonderful activities. "

"My wife is presently at Seaside Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center. It is clean but crowded. Their staff members are good but some are not so good. It is a very busy place. I have never seen a nursing home that is so busy."
