What I like about Trinity Glen is that they keep in contact with the family members when they find something out about the patient or whatever. They communicate well with the patient's family, whether it's their guardian or a power of attorney person. It's a very clean facility. The food is good. Mom has been there a short time, but the staff is friendly through my experience. It's not a locked-down facility. You can just go in and sign in. There's always someone there at the desk greeting you. I know there are a lot of patients out there who are self-pay, but for those who aren't self-pay, I would recommend that. Mom is on Medicaid and Medicare. Even with some of the places that are just for self-pay, I would have her at Trinity Glen from what I've seen. They're pretty good when patients need changing or something. They don't leave stuff sitting in the rooms. They take it out immediately. They have an activity board. They have bingo, church, and crafts. They also took two people from skilled nursing to the fair and I was impressed with that.

I could not give this Nursing home anything rate larger than one star. If there was a 0 I would have given it.. My sister is a current resident of Trinity Glen and has had the worst treatment ever.. Sitting in wet or soiled diapers for hours at a time and I mean hours ... Being put in a wheel chair and sitting in it for as long as 8 hours with out being changed ... Getting her breakfast at 11 am .. The caregivers in this place do not care for the residents... They are lazy, and not dependable... If it were up to me I would take these people to court...

The food is rated poor because they are not attentive to resident request. For example , a resident asks for no seafood and for dinner they get flounder. Staff is overworked and underpaid. The facility has trouble regulating the heat sometimes. One day the water was not running but it did come on the same day. I question rather the staff has ongoing training in dealing with dementia. It appears they are good people who are stressed out which causes low work performance.

Trinity Glen was very nice. The dining areas were very nice with room for three to five people to sit at the table together with enough room for wheelchairs to be in there and be comfortable, so it was excellent. It was a little far away from where we are, so that’s why we didn’t really consider it. It was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable.
