My mother has moved into Brookdale Reynolda Road. We like the homey atmosphere. It feels like a home that a senior person would enjoy. It has very caring people. It is smaller. There are fewer people, so it's more 'everybody knows everybody's name.' I talked to the residents, and they were all very friendly. Since my mother has moved in, they've talked to her, too. It is also close to me which is very important because I'm going every day to visit her. Everybody that I talked to in all the homes that I visited were nice people, but this one feels a little bit smaller, more intimate, and easier for my mother because she is slightly visually impaired. It's nice for her not to have to go on an elevator to the dining room. The place seems very clean, and the upkeep also seems very good. We have no complaints at all about that. It seems very nice. My mother hasn't been there for a week yet, but so far, she has played bingo, she has been to hymn singing, and there was a trio of singers who came in. She goes to a wheelchair exercise class most mornings. They have other games available, but her vision is not so good for some of the games. They also put her in the dining room where the residents talk to each other. This coming Saturday, they're having a fall festival, and my husband and I are going to the fall festival with her. The meal that I had was good, but I would say that that's not the strong point. Some are better than others, but everybody's taste is different. The meals are adequate and nutritional. My mother seems happy there. All the residents seem happy there.

I saw Brookdale Reynolda Road through the eyes of my neighbor. She's 99 years old. There were an awful lot of people who were elderly and who were no longer in their activity level. Most of the people were in wheelchairs, and so I thought it was not a good place for somebody who is in their 60s and just simply wants to be in an environment like that and wants to still be living. These are for people who are done living. So from that point of view, it was a good place for my neighbor. I was shown the facilities, and I was very impressed with them. It's a lovely place. It's a very friendly place. It's very light, sunny and open. The personnel I saw there were smiling. I had a good feeling about the whole place. The lady who interviewed me was more than forthcoming with all the questions that I had. And so, I was just 100% satisfied with what I saw and heard. The staff members were all very friendly and very inviting. I was very impressed with the total interview I had with everybody. Everything was clean and uncluttered. There are big windows everywhere, so they're letting in sunlight. It made me feel good that the area around is green. There are trees outside. It's just a clean and friendly environment. It would be a perfect place for my neighbor.

When we walked into Brookdale Reynolda Road, it took us probably 10 minutes before we could find somebody. That's one thing that probably turned me off to that place. There was nobody there to greet us. They had very minimal staff. The amenities were kind of basic. The room was large. They also showed us a couple of rooms, but it needed some updating. They showed us the board where they had activities listed, but we had never seen anybody out and about. There wasn't that much going on there. The lady who gave the tour was very nice, but the whole time we were there, that's the only person we saw.

I went to see Brookdale Reynolda Road. It was excellent. It's a very nice and clean facility. It's small. The staff appear to be exceptional in their knowledge of their job as far as determining the level of care that a resident would need there. They were very impressive, very professional, and extremely courteous. Their director of care seems to be exceptionally knowledgeable. The place itself is very convenient and accessible. The rooms are more like studios. They had common areas and they had community activities. They had a salon for the residents to be able to go in and get a haircut in style.

I like the community feel at Brookdale Reynolda Road. In a sense everyone there knows everybody and that there's a lot of personal concern for the residents. It was a very pleasant, cheerful place. I viewed the whole facility and the common areas seemed to be in use. I met a lot of the residents and it seemed like the people were like living in a community. It was very personalized. The apartments were compact and cozy, but bright and adequate. Cleanliness was perfect. It was pristine and great.

We liked Brookdale Reynolda Road. The staff were nice. Everybody spoke to you as you were going up and down the halls. The staff seemed to be friendly, and they were acknowledging the people as they came down the hall. A lot of them knew names and stuff, and they spoke with each one of them. They had a salon. They may have had a little reading area. People were being nice, and a lot of times that just helps knowing that they know the people on the floor. In terms of location, it's near restaurants and grocery stores.

I visited Brookdale Reynolda Road. It looked like a very nice place. Mandy and Geore were very informative and very nice. They had libraries, church services, and arts and crafts. They had a Wall of Honor for veterans, and that was very impressive.

Brookdale Reynolda Road was a small community. It was a nicely kept facility. The lady there was nice, and we liked it. The rooms were like nice, little studio-type things. It was a small-sized room with a bed, enough space to put your clothes on, and a little sitting area. It was a little larger than a hospital room would be, but not a whole lot. The staff was extremely helpful. She even gave us two places to check out for rehab since they didn't do it there. She was very friendly, open, and extremely knowledgeable about elder care and about other places that would benefit us. The dining area looked nice. We got a chance to look at the menu. They have three or four of the same choices every day, mostly favorites of the people there. They had an extra special day for that week as a special thing. Every day, they had different specials too. They have Sunday morning services, singers that come in on the weekends, and bingo. When we were there, some people were in the recreation room playing cards, and some were sitting outside just enjoying the sunshine. So it seemed like they had quite a few things for entertainment there.

A loved one moved into Brookdale Reynolda Road, and we are very well pleased. The staff is fine, and they seem to be very friendly. I've dealt with quite a few of them, the ones in the administration, and they've been very easy to work with. So, a very good experience. The place looks nice and kind of feels like home. We've had a meal there and the food was fine. The value seems to be in line with everybody else.

I went to Brookdale Reynolda Road yesterday and had a lovely tour, but the price goes up with any additional assistance. I only saw one small studio room, and there's only one way in and one way out. They said, "We don't have any activities," and nobody plays cards. There are only 40 residents there, so it's very small and it is on one level. It's bright and cheery. I did not meet any of the residents. The lady that I saw and the other people that work there were a 5. I was there on a Saturday morning; but from what both directors told me, there is not much activity.

My tour experience at Brookdale Reynolda Road was great; I just couldn't afford it. The staff is good. The facility is very nice. It's a very top-notch, good quality, and beautiful facility. The layout is small, so they could manage the people very well. The facility was very clean, too. The dining room was laid out with two people at a table and plexiglass in between them.

Brookdale Reynolda Road was small and at first I thought it would be too small for my in-laws. The staff member who showed us around was fabulous. She spent so much time with me, she continuously calls me to check in, and she was just so cordial and caring. The apartment was very small, but at this time that may be a better fit than I thought. However, it wasn't as cheerful as other places, and the room was a little bit depressing.

I toured Brookdale Reynolda Road. It was not well taken care of, the rooms were a decent size, and it was a smaller facility. The staff was very helpful, the dining area was small, and there were game activities. It seemed dark and not inviting. If they could find a way to brighten it up and clean it up a little bit, it could be better.

Brookdale Reynolda Road was good, but the staff and the organization was lacking. We were charged with things we didn't know about. We protested it, and they agreed to give some credit for the services that they charged us for but didn't do, and in the end, they did not. We had been billed for the months she was no longer there because we had already moved her out. The billing process was very unprofessional. The place was great, but she had to share a bathroom, and she did not like that.

My mom is currently Brookdale Reynolda Road for about 18 months now. We were looking for a place in a hurry, and this place was available. The place seemed pretty friendly, and clean. There’s just been a lot of turnover which is kind of troublesome to me. Their food is not good. They do have different activities like flower making, or wreath making. They do bingo. They also have church group to come over; I think once or twice a week. They also have a lady that comes over, and brings rabbits.

I visited my aunt in Brookdale Reynolda Road, and it was very nice, but you buy-in there. It was a progressive home. She was there for 16 years, and she started out with an apartment. Then she went to more advanced care, and she died there. I saw her room, the dining room, and the general facility. The staff was very good. She did not participate, but they had activities for them. There were games, Bible studies, and singing. I ate there quite a few times, and it was very nice. The dining room was kind of formal, and you also had choices of food. When you walked in, it was warm and friendly. It was very clean and kept-up. It was very nice.

We had lunch at Brookdale Reynolda Road (Formerly Reynolda Park). The food was OK, but it wasn't anything spectacular. They had barbecued chicken, and it was very dry, but I'm not a big eater, so food isn't high on my list. The girl in sales was very good. She was the one who took us on the tour. I like the fact that you don't even have to move out of that building because it's all assisted living -- they don't have any independent living situations.

Almost two years ago my mom went at Reynolda Park. She needed physical therapy, but she was there nine months. It was recommended by a nurse that was familiar with healthcare facility, and I went over and looked at it. They have all kinds of activities, and she got the best physical therapy when she left. She was as healthy as she has been in years, and where she is now, she is literally dying. Physically, she won’t make it it the rest of this month there. You must be able to walk in, and they won’t take you in on a stretcher. I saw people in there that were in wheelchairs -- two or three like a 92-year-old married couple -- and you can say that they don’t take you unless you can use a walker and get in the door. The dining room has white linen tablecloths, and everyone has television in their room. They had two big lobbies, a recreation room and a television room. The meals were fantastic; they get two snacks, they invite the family to eat with them anytime to try the food, so I know it’s good. They have an alarm on the front door which goes down at the certain hour, and they also have a couple of male nurse’s -- not just young people that don’t know many things. But the night staff just go off to the kitchen and chat; I don’t even see them around.

Reynolda Park is the closest facility to my house, and the people seem very, very nice. Their rooms are very nice and comfortable. We fixed my mom's room up very nicely. I can see that their menu has very nice choices. I can say that the dining room is very suitable for the tenants who live there. They made my mom feel really comfortable, and she is very happy there.

Reynolda Park is a very nice place, and it’s very clean. Their rooms are really nice. The only staff I saw were the med techs, I never saw any CNA.

Reynolda Park was a beautiful facility. It was of pretty good size. They were very nice. However, they did not have the right kind of physical floorplan for my relative. It also looked more like a nursing home than it does as an assisted living type environment. Plus, it's located right on a very busy highway and it seemed noisy. Their best feature though was their dining room. It was very nice and it had a lovely view. The staff was excellent. I did have an appointment with them but they didn't have me down in their books when I arrived. However, they just dropped everything and showed me around anyway. They were very accommodating. They were very nice folks. Even the working staff and nurses were very nice as well.

The nurses and doctors there were very nice and answered all questions to the best of their ability. They were quick to find someone to answer the question if they could not. The facility was clean and very nice. They were in the middle of upgrading the facilities there and adding more room for the residents, the construction made it difficult to get around. I feel that the roads would still be difficult to travel even without construction. One could get lost very easily. There was a spa that the residents could go to which was extremely large and very nice. The food wasn't very good but it was above the standard that I had going into the place. The some of the rooms were small but most were fairly good in size with plenty of space to put personal belongings and keepsakes. Overall it was a very nice place to go.

The care and compassion in this place really leaves alot to be desired. Cleanliness and food are two big issues. I would recommend that you look elsewhere!!!!!!!
