"My mother moved to Atria Oakridge. The apartment size was nicer than the other ones, it was a big thing. There it's a little cleaner and the staff seems a little nicer. The food is actually pretty good, we haven't had any issues with the staff at all, they seem really nice, and polite so far. There's not that many activities right now because of COVID. The layout is good. I would recommend it I think for the price and for the facility. It's a lot nicer and cleaner than the other ones that I looked at when I was shopping for it. It's definitely one that somebody has to check out."

"Verena is a friendly place with residents that enjoy each other at meal times, activities and Happy Hour!! The manager, Vinson, is a "get it done and communicate about it" guy. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Maintenance problems are quickly solved by Tony. Chef Eric provides us with healthy, delicious meals. The women who clean our apartments every two weeks are friendly, careful and efficient. There are well planned activities for all interests, from movies to arts & crafts, to educational and all sorts of games. Outings on the bus take advantage of what the community offers: concerts, restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. We have a beautiful, heated pool with exercise classes plus an exercise room with state of the art equipment. We have a variety of one and two bedroom apartments, each with a spacious balcony. Pets are welcome. My cat and I have enjoyed living here for a year now, and plan to stay as long as I can care for us both."

"We visited Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living. It's new, well laid out, and the food was OK. The rooms were adequate, there was a library, a couple of computers, and a theater. We ate a meal there. They were very friendly."

"I visited and it was a lovely place, but it's too far for my family. They got some nice staff and they have some nice rooms. The apartments have balcony. They are comfortable. They have transportation and exercise classes."

"I can't say enough good things about Woodland Terrace and its staff. The staff cares about its residents and goes the extra mile. The facility is nice and, pre-Covid, there were a lot of activities that kept my mom busy and engaged. Recently, my mom needed some things done in her room that would be something that I would do. Given Covid-19, I cannot go into the facility to visit my mom. I asked Mike J for help. He and his team helped my mom. Also, sometimes my mom needs help and she will go to the front desk in the lobby to ask for assistance. Every team member is friendly and helps her. If needed, they will call me. I can't tell you how much it means to me and to my family knowing that my mom is in a place that cares about her and can help her have the best life possible. I highly recommend this place for you or your loved ones if you are looking for a place that fosters great community, has nice amenities and is close to shopping and restaurants. "

"We toured The Cambridge at Brier Creek. The people were lovely. We went there on a lunch invitation that we received in the mail. I liked the whole facility. Also, something that I liked is they have a parking deck. You get out of your car in a parking deck, then go into the building and take an elevator up and down to your unit. The upkeep was very nice. The food was good, and they talked to us about how they changed and updated the menu. They had certain things on the menu all the time, and the dining area is beautiful."

"I have lived here for 2 years. I love it here. My husband and I love our place, the staff - there's nothing I can complain about because I am perfectly content and happy. All I can say is I love it here and anyone would love it too. "

"I was living in Brier Pointe Retirement Community. It's very comparable to the one I'm currently in. They're very, very good. I liked everything. The staff was great, but the food, not so much. The accommodations were super good. The people were great. The residents were great. It was a good place to live. They had washer and dryer and a microwave. There weren't quite as many outdoor spaces, but they had a table and chairs and an umbrella to keep the sun off of you."

"Jordan Oaks has three meals a day, a chef cooks for you, and they have snacks. They take you into different stores and places. You can have a small pet there. The apartments are of decent size, I was looking at a studio which will be available on the 1st week of April, the dining room is very nice, and they have an athletic room for exercise. All that I have met are very nice. The have a lot of walking areas and I like to walk. "

"Reserve at Mills Farm was very nice, but it was way too expensive for me. It was very clean and smelled good. Patients were engaged, the rooms were cleaned, and this was at 2:00 in the afternoon. Everything was cleaned up. It was a weekend, too, so to me that was a plus that they still had it together, and the staff is short on the weekend. It was just too expensive for my financial needs, but I'm sure it's worth it for people who can afford it. They had the menus and activities calendars posted. The residents there seemed happy. They spoke to me, and the caregivers working with them spoke to me as well."

"Cambridge Village of Apex is lovely. The amenities are nice. It's more upscale than other places. The community is very nice. It is in a very nice location. There's a beautiful fountain that you can see if you're in the back apartments. The front apartments get views of the parking lot, but they don't cost as much as the ones with the view. It's very nice. I told the people that it's probably going to be at the top of my list when I'm ready to move. The staff was very friendly. The woman that was taking me around, she knew everybody by name and spoke to them in the hallway. There were a lot of people out and about. It was still lunchtime, so there were people still waiting to go into the restaurant. The dining room is kind of a restaurant style where you wait to be seated and then you have a wait staff that brings you the meal that you ordered. The facility is in excellent condition. The model that they took me to is the newest. I saw the menu and it looked lovely. They got a lot of activities there also."

"We visited The Cardinal in Raleigh and it was just excellent. The staff was very welcoming and the facility was beautiful. They had a lot of amenities and my mother-in-law, who was with me that time, also loved it. You can't say enough nice things about it. They had an exercise area and a pool. The location was really nice. There's a grocery nearby. It felt very open and just like a nice place overall."

"Hayes Barton Place is a new place. It's really nice. It's got a lot of space. It's well-lit and clean. It's really top-notch. They have a pickleball court, a gymnasium, a game room, a pharmacy, and a memory unit. I had lunch with a friend there, and it was delicious."
