What I like about The Cambridge at Brier Creek is the wide-open spaces, the hallways that are very wide and easy to walk on, and the whole ambiance. It's not a very old place. We are both in our 80s, and it is something that we could visualize living in. Some of the places that we looked at we didn't find appealing at all because of the different scenarios that they had. The person who helped us was excellent. Katie was upbeat, very personable, very outgoing, and very professional. She is all-around a great person to deal with. We did have food, but it all looked really, really good. They have several dining area choices and a snack bar. They offer coffee 24 hours a day in the lobby. The food looks good. They have a lot of game rooms, they have puzzles, they have card clubs, and bingo. There is a huge gym and a swimming pool. You could do laps there. They have a pool if you want to do water aerobics, and then they have a hot tub that you can utilize. They offer everything as far as entertainment and physical fitness. They have transportation to your doctor's appointments and to different shopping sprees. They go out for lunch and dinner. You can book reservations with that, so that was another thing that was great about it. We looked at six facilities, and this is the one we like the best. The staff was excellent. We met quite a few already, and they were all really friendly and willing to help in any way they could.

We toured The Cambridge at Brier Creek. The people were lovely. We went there on a lunch invitation that we received in the mail. I liked the whole facility. Also, something that I liked is they have a parking deck. You get out of your car in a parking deck, then go into the building and take an elevator up and down to your unit. The upkeep was very nice. The food was good, and they talked to us about how they changed and updated the menu. They had certain things on the menu all the time, and the dining area is beautiful.

I visited The Cambridge at Brier Creek. They are excellent. It was very high class and very nice. They're welcoming. The young lady who showed us around was just excellent and gave us all the time we needed. The building is a couple of years old, so basically it's new. The apartments have very nice touches to them, like wood floors and up-to-date appliances. It's nice, fresh, and light. They have amenities. They have an exercise person onsite every day, and they have health care. It's just very nice. They have movies and all kinds of things to do.

My parents are at The Cambridge at Brier Creek. The place is immaculate. It's so clean. The people that work there are super nice and very professional. There is physical therapy onsite through WakeMed if needed. They also have medical care onsite. There's a doctor's office downstairs, there's a 25,000 square foot gym, there are two swimming pools, one saltwater, one junior Olympic-sized pool that's chlorinated. There's also a very large hot tub and there's a sauna steam room. It really is a resort. Everyone is just as accommodating as possible. No requests are too much. The food is, I would equivalate it to cruise dining, it's outstanding. It's almost unbelievable that it's that good. Part of your monthly rent, $400 per person, goes to the dining credit, and so you eat in a a five-star restaurant daily. They have lunch and dinner service, and they have brunch on Sunday. Part of your meals come directly out of your account each month. It's a great situation. The meals change. There are so many varieties, and all the people that eat there seem very, very satisfied. There are activities from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at night. This place has far exceeded anything that I looked at. My parents are very satisfied. I can't think of anything negative to say about the entire place. It is outstanding.
