My husband and I moved into Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living. We're loving it because the place is very comfortable and beautiful. The staff is so friendly and helpful. And we have made many new friends here. The other residents were all very friendly. The meals are provided. There is entertainment. They have movies every day. They have people coming in for entertainment. Like they had a jazz band one time when we came to visit. There's art and ceramics. They have bingo and lots of things to do. There's only one negative and that is the elevator is very slow. But that's it. This is a fantastic place.

I toured Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living. I liked the overall appearance of the building, and the staff was very friendly. We had dessert and a salad, and it was very tasty. Everything that you would need was there. They had a gym and a salon. Restaurants are close by. The hospital is not too far, maybe five minutes.

Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living was a very nice place. They had lots of activities. The problem is that I can't afford it. It's like $2900 a month. The staff were very nice and very helpful. I looked at a studio room. For activities, they have cornhole, billiards, and lots of games that they play. They take the people occasionally out, too. They had a salon where you could get haircuts and whatnot. They had three meals a day and snacks, but I didn't try their meals.

I was able to visit Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living, and it was an excellent experience. I liked everything, my only objection was to the price because it was very high. The person I worked with was very lovely. I haven't tried eating there but the food at the restaurant looked beautiful. They have a gym, they have a theater which looks nice, and looked like a movie theater. The place itself looked very clean. It's located near a lot of places and they have good transportation, so they'll take you where you want to go. It's not within walking distance that I could see, because it used to be right across from a mall that has shut down.

My uncle is in the facility, and he is doing great. He loves it. He's in an apartment-style place called Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living, so he is all set up and all good to go. It's amazing. They have two live-in managers that are a husband-and-wife team. Amy and Greg are awesome. They're very on top of things and doing the best they can. They are a little understaffed, but the apartments are great. They have a lot of activities. Their activity coordinator, provides outings every Wednesday, Jill, which is fantastic. Their whole setup is very unique. It is like living in an open apartment complex. They've got a restaurant-style restaurant downstairs that does meals three times a day. They have movies in the evenings, they have a little popcorn maker, they have 24-hour soft-serve, coffee, and donuts, that kind of stuff. My uncle is enjoying being there. It's a fantastic place. They do a fresh menu every day, but then they always have staples that you can get. Their scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, and home fries for breakfast are really good. I've had it. One thing that I like is that guests can visit and have mealtimes there, and you don't have to pay any extra to sit and have food at the restaurant with your loved one. They do a really good variety, and they try hard. My uncle seems to enjoy it. I haven't heard anybody else complain about it. They put a cute little menu board up every day and it changes. They do a fantastic job with the food. They do outings every Wednesday, and their outings are really good. They go to museums, they go out to lunch, they'll try a new breakfast place, they'll try a nice restaurant that's well known, they go out for a movie, or they go to a play. Jill does an awesome job. They have activities within the facility. They'll do bocce, trivia, and all that kind of fun stuff. So my uncle enjoys doing all of the activities that they do.

Stoneridge in Cary is a very nice place. They have a dining hall with three meals a day and snacks. They also have a workout room, a library, a salon, a little snack shop, and a theater that has popcorn for every show. They have shuttles that will take the residents out to shop once or twice a week. They also take them to doctor visits. They are doing limited activities based upon social distancing; they get together while spread out and do certain things. It has been limited due to COVID. Currently they have a couple of residents who have gone out, and they've actually tested positive, so right now the dining hall is closed, but they bring the food to the residents' rooms every meal. They have housekeeping that comes in once a week and vacuums the apartment. They do a lot of other things that made us decide to put my mother-in-law there, but now she's starting to have dementia, and she's going to need other assistance that they don't provide. I would need to pay extra for some other company to come in to do those items, so I'm looking for something that would be more of a progressive assisted living, so if her memory loss continues to increase, I won't have to move her multiple times. They have couples in their staff -- husband-and-wife teams -- and there are multiple of them who live on the premises, and they're available 24/7 to help. The food seems to be adequate, my mother-in-law said it's good, and they have a variety. They always have one particular thing on the menu, but the people can ask for other options. What I like about the place is they have their biggest meal at lunchtime and a lighter one at dinner, so it's not too much food for them when they go to bed early. They also have a washer and dryer for the residents to use free of charge. For the amount of money, between the cost and what amenities are there, it's a "five" in my book. My mother-in-law wants something simple but that also provides opportunities to mingle with people her own age. It's not posh, but it's very nicely kept and very inviting. I think it's appropriate for the price. The room that she's in is also very spacious. She has a two-room apartment with a living room, kitchenette, a separate bedroom, a bathroom, and a little patio balcony. She moved in while everything was locked down, so we haven't had too much feedback on the activities.

My aunt was in Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living. They were absolutely fantastic, and I hate that they didn't have one down here. It's just a few years old. The staff is phenomenal. They do bingo, and they do movie night, so I think they've quite a few, a decent amount. They're extremely responsive and caring. It's one of the most cost effective places around. There's a 3% increase in the rent.

My sister was previously in Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living. It seemed to be an excellent facility with a beautiful dining room, and lots of room for different activities. They played games, my sister had a great time in the evenings, the food was good, and the management was good. She had a single room to herself and didn't have any major complaints. She was able to do her laundry with the washing machines, everything was conveniently located for her throughout the facility. I found the staff to be perfectly professional at all times at any time I asked them a question. It was a lovely facility, but there were some questions about the food.

We visited Stoneridge Gracious Retirement Living. It's new, well laid out, and the food was OK. The rooms were adequate, there was a library, a couple of computers, and a theater. We ate a meal there. They were very friendly.

The facility is new and very attractive and there are three meals served in the Stoneridge dining room as well as snacks and coffee available all the time. Many onsite activities available and it has its own small movie theater with stadium seating. Food quality is generally good though doesnt really offer any alternative menu for those with dietary restrictions (like salt, sugar, kosher, etc). Huge problem is that there is not enough dining room serving or busing staff. Takes forever to get used dishes cleared off the tables and dishes stack up on your table during dining service. Serving each course takes far too long, simply because of their consistent lack of adequate serving staff. One other negative is their shuttle bus. It's a nice bus service to doc appts and shopping, but it has no lift for wheelchairs or electric carts. Considering most residents are in their 80s and 90s and nearly all have manual push-buggies or electric carts, it is a huge oversight for them to not have purchased a bus with a lift.
