"My brother is in a nursing home at Autumn Care of Salisbury. I chose it because it had good reviews. The staff is very helpful and caring. The food looks fine. It's easily accessible. The rooms are adequate in size and have comfortable furnishings. They have a gazebo, and it's nice. Cleanliness and upkeep are more than adequate."

"My loved one spent two months at the Bermuda Village rehabilitation facility. His room was clean and spacious. The staff was caring and attentive. He was motivated and encouraged to improve (move) by the staff. They made his experience much more than we could have ever hoped for. Although he was very ill they showed compassion and he felt that the staff took his improvement personally. We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Bermuda Village rehabilitation facility."

The medical attention that is recieved is alsome. The staff is very friendly and always there to help. They are always willing to listen to worries and answer questions that you might have.The building was always clean and well taken care of. Lots of daylight and plants. There are activites and socializing for the patients too. I would highly recommend the Brian Center to anyone that is searching for a Nursing home or assisted living for their loved one. "

"I have volunteered at Bermuda Commons for several years. I've never seen any resident mistreated. The entire staff seems to be really good to the people they care for. The activities department offers many opportunities......trips to movies, shopping, the Dixie Classic Fair, going out to eat as well as having frequent entertainment come in to the facility. I've never seen any problem with cleanliness......floors are mopped, beds changed, etc. I do believe they are short-staffed but, otherwise, have seen no problems."

"Trinity Elms Health & Rehab was very clean, and they were very professional. The amenities were great. They had a therapy room and chapels. They had a lot of activities going on. It was pretty much perfect. The room was very bright and appealing. It had a TV, nightstand, closet, and drawers to put some clothes in. The staff who gave us the tour was very friendly and very well informed. She told us everything we wanted to know before we even asked."

"I went and looked at Homestead Hills, and all the employees were extremely nice and very supportive. They were very caring, attentive, and answered all questions. The facility was very clean. They were extremely helpful, and they even followed up."

"My mom is getting very good care from The Laurels. Everybody's nice to her. There are a lot of people working there and they're all very eager to please. The facility is clean and seems to be very well-run. It's laid out so it has a number of halls, with each room having a window to that side of the halls. Mom's room is very nice and functional. It also has a window for the afternoon light to come in. The food was pretty good. Mom likes it. I also like that it's convenient for my brothers to check on our mom too. It just seems like the right place. The main thing is that mom's happy. "

Compassion starts at top with administration and carries through the entire staff - medical, support staff, maintenance, transportation. There is a "family atmosphere". There are many community volunteers and church groups who also offer support. There are constant activities for residents. It is clean, I have never detected the "nursing home odor" here. "I visited Trinity Oaks for my mother. I highly recommend it. The staff was very nice. Everything was just great. I like just everything about it, i.e., the staff, the surroundings, and the rooms. It was all very nice. The food was very good. The dining area was very nice. "

"I was shocked at how bad this place is. My father was placed here with the intention of getting rehab but never saw any. He was in their care for a little over a week and a half and several times we came and had to get someone to get him a bath or change his clothes which should have been done without having to ask. The Cna's are awful.... Not all but most if the ones we encountered. You have to have a heart for the job and many are there just to collect a paycheck. The end came for us when we arrived at 12:30 one afternoon, my father had been in the same shirt for two days... No bath.. We called for a nurse. They found he had gained an infection so bad on his back died that he immediately had to be transported by EMS. If he had been cared for and checked daily I believe it would have been found sooner. My father said they never came when he would ring his bell, or it took them forever. I would never place a loved one at this facility!!!!! Their own staff said they were trying to leave because it was so bad there. The smell is awful and so is the service. The rn's were great... That us about the only nice thing I can say. They should be ashamed of their facility and someone needs to investigate. We are filing a complaint. My father had to have a surgery that he almost didn't make it out of because he received less than appropriate care here. "
