"While searching for a home care agency for my ailing father I came across Total Care . My father didnt need any drastic care only help with routine day to day care. Total Care initially said that they would send over an aide at 8am until noon. On the first day the aid didnt show up until after 930. The aid was not to blame however it seems her manager in order to cut back on staffing hours had decided to shave back on employee hours but bill the insurance companies for the full 4 hours. Also the staff was poorly trained and often attempted to reuse disposable medical items. When questioned about the reuse of disposables the office manager informed me that it was a standard practice and all agencies do the same thing. Total Care has apparently been the focus of several OSHA complaints and investigations. Luckily we were able to find another Home Care agency for my father before any serious damage was done. Total Care does not provide the most basic of competent Senior Home care. Even after all the violations and fraud Total care continues to operate. "

She is always on time, never calls in, ensures that my mother is clean and happy all day and Lisa makes sure she is clean before leaving for the night (which really helps us with our evening routine). "Premier Home Health Care Services caregivers give my dad a bath and do exercises with him. My dad seems to be pleased. This past week, the nurse that was catering to him needed to go out of town and that day nobody came and they said they were going to send someone but didn't. My dad had been five days without the nurse when it was supposed to be every day, and they have not touched base. They should be more in contact with the family."

"The service that I got from Advanced Home Care for my husband is excellent. We have occupational and physical therapists who comes twice a week, and a registered nurse who comes once a week. Everything is really good right now. This is the second occupational therapist that we have used. The first one was OK but a little intimidated being in a home alone with a man, so they sent us another person after we threatened to take our service elsewhere. I am happy with them now. They seem to be short on help since the demand is higher than their employment, but this one is just perfect. She has helped him in so many unique ways. "

"I got my dad a caregiver from Maxim Healthcare Services. We chose this agency because they are local. I told them what I needed when I was looking and they sent somebody. It was an immediate match. My dad has Alzheimer's and the one we got deals with Alzheimer's patients. She has been there for about four months now. She is very good and patient with my dad. She is great with him. She also does light housekeeping. I'm satisfied with the services I got from Maxim Healthcare Services. "

"I got Encompass Health for my grandmother. They're very prompt, very thorough, and very dependable, which is the most important part. The hours so far are excellent, communication is pretty good, and there are 2 different caregivers who come. They provide occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech, and a nurse comes out as well. Encompass Health goes over and beyond to help your loved ones, and they've done everything they said in their vision statement."

"My husband's cousin was at Piedmont Companion Care for about three months. I was really impressed with the administration. The management was very good, but I think they were having problems getting workers that are good enough and dependable. The four to five caregivers they sent to us were always staying on the telephone, texting all the time, not showing up, leaving early, and not have people to fill their spot. It was very embarrassing. "
