This is the worst facility I have ever seen. My mom was there the end of her life but thankfully we had her moved to hospice where she died peacefully. The rooms were like closets. Her tv was missing and I had to cause a scene to get it back. Although some of the staff were very compassionate I witnessed staff working 16 hour shifts, leaving for 4 hours and returning to work. No one can do a good job under those circumstances. Never ever let your family go there.

I made the mistake of having my mother at this facility...the first night she didn't receive her nighttime meds (insulin and high blood pressure) which is inexcusable given she was recovering from a stroke. The staff in general was nice BUT too short-handed and if she needed help you had to wait for an average of 20 to 30 minutes before they came to check on you. I don't recommend going here unless you have no choice.

This is absolutely the worse facility in the triad area. My relative went 2 weeks without a shower. When asked why she is not getting a shower, I was always told we do not have time because of bring understaffed. She was not given a sponge bath. She was completed neglected at times. The staff would tell me they had given her the scheduled medicine and it would not have been given. The administrator pretends she cares about the residents but it is only about money. You can never get anyone to answer the phones in the evening or at night to check on your lovers one. The smell in this facility is terrible. The staff is very careless about leaving things on the desk for residents to pick up that could be very harmful to the person. I would never recommend this facility. The staff is totally lazy and spends countless number of hours on their cell phones vs looking after the resident. I was told by many people not to go to this facility, now I understand and made a big mistake placeing my loved one there.

Not the best skilled nursing facility out there or very up to date... My relative went in for rehab, not a lot of contact with the staff as far as updates on progress. My family was told on several occasions they didn't have adequate weekend staff to accommodate her needs, if so DONT accept new patients. It sometimes took up to 40 minutes to get help when she needed it, and that's unacceptable . I advise anyone to check into facilities more when choosing , wish we had...

The staff turns the phones to silent mode and there is no way to reach the patients. I have been trying to reach a patient there on a critical mater of over 24 hours and they won't let me speak to the patient.

I was not very impressed with Regency Care of Clemmons. It was a very old community and just didn’t feel very clean. I didn’t like the setup. It looked like a renovated house that they just added on to. It wasn’t brightly colored, so that it felt dark, which felt dirty. There weren't any problems that I saw; it just wasn’t as nice as the others. I got a very institutional feeling there. The dining area was very small, so most of the residents probably ate in their rooms. I wasn’t as satisfied there. They were very helpful with giving information and showing me around, knew the residents, and were very caring with them. The building just didn’t give me a good vibe.
