Overture Providence 55+ Apartment Homes

We toured Overture Providence 55+ Apartment Homes. I like everything about this. I love the apartments. Everything is pretty much contained in the building, the location, and the people. It doesn't have food options because it's an apartment. The staff was very nice and very helpful. The girl who we were dealing with wasn't there, so we had to deal with two other people, and they were both very extremely nice and had no problem. The only problem with this one is that, right now there's construction going on right around it, so you tend to have a noise factor from the construction. Everybody was extremely friendly. The residents who lived there would stop and just talk to you and introduce themselves.

Overture Providence 55+ Apartment Homes is very modern. It's a beautiful facility. It's a convenient walking distance to shopping and restaurants, so location played a big part in why we chose them. My parents wanted to be close to things, so they wouldn't always need a car. And it's also affordable. The apartments are spacious and well laid out. They have beautiful standard-sized kitchens that you would have in townhomes or regular homes. They have an extra storage closet. You can rent storage, so when you're downsizing and you're used to having a full-sized home, there may be things you don't want to part with. Not all facilities provide the ability to rent extra storage onsite. They also offer gated secure parking. When my parents are coming in and out, they may not have a garage anymore, but they have a gated parking lot, so they feel safe.

Overture Providence 55+ Apartment Homes was very nice. It did not have an attached garage, which would have been helpful for us. They have a swimming pool though. They were going to have an instructor in the pool to take them to some water aerobics or something like that. The staff was very nice, too.
