"My dad moved to Atria Briarcliff Manor. I like it very much because it is relatively small. So easy for him to navigate. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The energy is positive. There's no foul smell. It's very nicely run. I don't find a negative. Maybe too soon to tell, but so far everything has been very organized, very well-run, and very welcoming for him. The staff is attentive. They are responsive. They seem to genuinely care about their jobs and the residents. The facility is extremely clean. The furniture is relatively new. Everything is clean and bright, and plenty of activities going on at all hours of the day. They paired my father with an ambassador resident to help transition him in and bring him out to events. They have minimal activities like cute karaoke and things like that, but every time I go, he's engaged. He's out of his room and he's doing something. I feel welcomed. I feel that he is cared for. There's plenty of staff, which is unusual."

"Sunrise at Fleetwood was a very comforting place. It was like a home away from home kind of thing. The place was very clean. The staff was very nice. The rooms were nice, too. They showed us the common areas, the bistro place where the residents can have snacks, and the main dining room. Everything was very nice and clean."

"Lohman Village at The Wartburg Adult Care Community was very nice. I like their independent living facility and they are not very pricey. The staff was all very friendly, the amenities were nice, and their common dining room was also nice. This is where both the assisted living residents and the independent living residents go to. I would recommend this facility to others. "

"I had been at Sunrise of Old Tappan, which was wonderful. From the time you walked in, they made you feel so wonderful. The cook would come out and ask you if there was anything he could do to make the food better. They were very accommodating; the staff and management were exceptional. Cleanliness was wonderful. I’ve made quite a few friends there. I can’t say enough good things about them. "

"I toured Atria on the Hudson. It's very good. I looked at the whole thing. If you go into the senior home and if you need assisted living, you stay in your room, and they bring the help to you. So that's a very good thing. You don't have to move. The overall experience was very, very good. It had a lot of activities. It was very clean. People were friendly. They go out with buses to concerts and to shows, and they try to offer you as much as a normalized life as they can. Everything was excellent. It's beautiful. There's the dining room, there are club rooms, there's a library, and there are different rooms. They have an elevator, too. The outdoor is beautiful. They have walkways and nice views. The whole thing is lovely. What I like the most are the activities and the people. They're very friendly. In talking to the people there, everybody was very positive about living there. They liked it. The food was excellent. We were invited for a meal; very good food and very varied menu. I didn't have much to do with the staff, but in the dining room they were very nice, and they made sure you were comfortable and you had everything you wanted. And the people there said the staff were very nice. The one who assisted me was excellent. She was very good. It's an upscale place."

"Brookdale Emerson is nice. It has small units that more affordable than most other places. The staff is very helpful, kind, and thoughtful and take time with my mom, with me, and my family. They do musical and hands-on activities with the residents. The dining room is very nice, and the food is good. "

"My parents moved into Atria Riverdale. They have a lot of activities. The facility was clean. The people were very friendly. They have a doctor on staff. They have a restaurant where they go down and have their breakfast, lunch, and dinner served to them. They have daily house cleaning, which is very important. It was very impressive. It's expensive, but it's one of the nicer places that I've seen. The residents get their medications and some other services if they need them. They have a movie theater with plush couches and popcorn where you can pick your movies. They have somebody from outside come in and do entertainment. They go out into the community. They have chair yoga. They have a beautiful outside sitting area. I tried the food, and I liked it."

"The tour at Amber Court of Pelham Gardens was pretty good and very thorough. They had very nice amenities. They had a library and very good artwork. But they were on double occupancy. They had very few single rooms. They also had an admission code for their own particular care. They had a specific matter of payment."

"We toured Thrive at Montvale. We liked the amenities, and we liked the fact that it was very new and very fresh. It was very nice. The staff was great, and we enjoyed the tour. We liked their meal plan and the size of the facility. It was not too big and not too small. We liked the fact that they could move from independent to assisted living if they needed to. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and they wanted to get to know my parents, which was good. The cleanliness was great. We liked the courtyard quite a bit. They had a garden room and a giant LEGO area for families to play in, and they had water features, but the units were a little bit on the small side. The atmosphere was vibrant, and we liked the setup, the layout, and the spaces."

"I was never so impressed, during the process of locating a place for my Mom. As soon as I drove in the parking lot, entered to doors...I felt this feeling of vibrancy and love. It started with the consigliere, sales director and each staff and resident along the visit. WOW. To top it off, the Executive Director stopped in and helped "seal the deal." I was so impressed with his passion and knowledge. I am so happy I decided to visit this Community and more happy that my Mom loves it there. "I was very impressed with The Springvale Inn. The place was very clean, and it looked as if the esidents there were comfortable. I would say that it seemed to be a friendly place. The director of sales, Teresa, was very knowledgeable. It seems like a very nice residence. From what I've seen, the staff seems to be very nice, very caring, and apparently very stable. According to Teresa, they don't have a lot of turnovers, which is a good thing. Also, it looked like they had a library."
