My dad moved to Atria Briarcliff Manor. I like it very much because it is relatively small. So easy for him to navigate. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The energy is positive. There's no foul smell. It's very nicely run. I don't find a negative. Maybe too soon to tell, but so far everything has been very organized, very well-run, and very welcoming for him. The staff is attentive. They are responsive. They seem to genuinely care about their jobs and the residents. The facility is extremely clean. The furniture is relatively new. Everything is clean and bright, and plenty of activities going on at all hours of the day. They paired my father with an ambassador resident to help transition him in and bring him out to events. They have minimal activities like cute karaoke and things like that, but every time I go, he's engaged. He's out of his room and he's doing something. I feel welcomed. I feel that he is cared for. There's plenty of staff, which is unusual.

The Atria in Briarcliff is a beautiful place for your family member or loved one to live. After living in 2 other assisted living facilities in Westchester my Mom finally found her home in Briarcliff. The rooms are bright, clean and spacious. The food is delicious and there are so many choices! I cannot say enough about the amazing staff. They are kind, caring, knowledgeable, and so friendly! Everyone knows your name and will stop to say hello and chat with you. The front desk staff, community sales team and administration is always so welcoming. The nursing staff and aids are always available whenever you need them and come to help when they are supposed to. The activities are wonderful as well. My mom loves the daily bingo, chair exercise classes as well as her weekly mahjong and more. We feel very comfortable and happy here at Atria.

I toured Atria Briarcliff Manor. They had small units. They had a little more of an intimate feeling and less institutional feeling. The location was beautiful. It's by the park. I got the feeling that the staff knew each other because everything was like in a small space, and I saw more interaction. Everything is in one building, so it is a little more of an intimate feeling. The memory unit is one big space, so their dining room is part of the space. There's a courtyard and a patio. The staff who toured me was terrific. Her name is Alison, and she was very good. The person who started the program was unbelievable, too. She was the most enthusiastic person. She behaves like it's her mission.

Atria Briarcliff Manor was very nice. It's in an exclusive area, so affluent people probably go there. It's beautiful. It's like a country club. I did not eat any food, but I saw people eating and I could tell that they have a chef. They don't just have someone cooking back there because it all looked well prepared with a good presentation. It looked good and it smelled good. I did comment that it smelled great and they told me that they have two chefs. I didn't see a lot of staff. It also didn't seem like there were a lot of residents. Maybe they base their staffing on the number of residents they have. I didn't see many people around. The staff was great and very knowledgeable.

Atria Briarcliff Manor is a lovely place. The people are very nice and the food is excellent, it's just that the largest room is too small for two of us. The location is wonderful, it's near the town park, library, and the child center. They have an enhanced license for assisted living and they also have memory care. It's a very attractive and warm place, and the people there were very nice. Even the staff wear badges saying how many years they've been working there. We tried the food and it was wonderful. The dining area was very pleasant and light. They have activities like exercise, movies, and clubs like a men's club. They dont have a pool, but otherwise they have the activities that most senior places have. There's a park right next door that has a community pool, so those are are good points. They're excellent at everything except the size of the room. Since it's a smaller place, their groups seem to be more intimate and friendly than larger places.

I went to Atria Briarcliff Manor. The tour itself was wonderful. The place looked wonderful. I was impressed. What I liked the most was it felt more like a small community instead of an industrial enterprise. They were careful enough to want to come and visit where my mom was in rehab and was very keen on explaining to us that what my mother would need at this point would be memory care as opposed to assisted living and that was very helpful to us. At that point, given the experience at the rehab and what's been happening to my mom, we decided to put this on hold and I would certainly consider taking a look again when she gets better. They were very careful about saying that it's a choice that has to be done carefully and that they were interested to make sure that she would fall into the right place and I found that very useful. The rooms were very pleasant. It was certainly a place that I wouldn't mind living myself. They weren't too small, they weren't too big, and they're furnished nicely and very adequate. The smaller rooms had a kitchenette. Everything was large enough to live in. The larger room was like a large studio where they had a sitting area. It was more for people that would probably have a lot of visitors. The other rooms, if somebody came to visit, you would have to sit somewhere outside and there are nice places to sit there. In the other room has a whole little living room inside and more of a kitchen. These are differences that would translate into different prices, so you have choices. I thought they were very, very pleasant. It didn't look like a rectangle that they just painted and done with. There was a library that had a computer and there was an activity room. They were preparing for some activity and they had someone that comes in and they decorated the room. There was a sitting room where you can chat. There was a beauty parlor and I mentioned that it needed to be decorated a little more like a beauty parlor and they mentioned they had just redone it. I thought they were very thoughtful. There was a clear understanding of what the clientele needed and people seemed to interact among themselves which was nice to see. I've got a very good impression from the staff as well. The staff during the tour was wonderful. I saw a menu and it looked delicious. The setting of the tables was like going to a 5-star hotel. Everything looked so neat and so nicely arranged with so much dignity. It was in very good shape and it's right across the street from the library. There were community centers outside of the facility. There's greenery around and it's very pleasant.

A friend of mine had his mother at Atria Briarcliff Manor, and he said they were really good. We recently toured it too. The woman who gave us the tour was the sales director. She actually had her mother at that facility. If you're going to have one of your parents there, I kind of think that says a lot. It's expensive, but it looked like a good place. It was clean and the staff was friendly. I didn't eat their food, but it looked like they had a good menu. The people also looked happy. It was right near town, so they could drop you in town if you want to go to regular stores or restaurants. Transportation within 15 miles is included, a community pool, three meals a day, movies, a few activities, the barber shop, and doctor's office. I also liked that it had a lot of trees. It just looked ideal to me.

Atria Briarcliff Manor was very bright and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and called us back to send us additional resource material without even being asked. They answered follow-up questions when we had them and were prompt with it too. It was our first experience going to an assisted living place. There were beautiful gardens outside, and the residents were outside walking and visiting with each other. The staff was extremely helpful. There are tons of activities for people to do. I would have a hard time keeping up with everything they were offering. I think that building activities for seniors are huge to get them to do the socializing and stuff. I met with the director and she was helpful. When we called and had follow-up questions, she gave us her cell phone number to text back and forth. The rooms were very nice. Walking through the dining room, everything was nicer than when I kept my home.

Atria Briarcliff Manor was old. It hadn't been refurbished. It was kind of shoddy looking, and it was expensive. The people were very nice and the care was very nice. The staff was excellent. I'm mostly interested in independent living. She told me that they mostly cater to assisted living, but they do have a few apartments that are independent living that have a full kitchen. I saw a few different apartments.

I liked Atria Briarcliff Manor. It was similar to the other Atria we went to, except that I thought the decor was not as uplifting. It was darker, darker wood, darker paint, and just didn't give me a happy feeling in there. The staff was great though, and they had the same number of amenities and daily activities on the calendar as the other places. The cost there was much more reasonable.

Atria Briarcliff Manor was bright and clean. The rooms were bright, clean, well set up and well lit. The staff was very knowledgeable, very friendly, very courteous, professional, and competent. She knew what she was talking about. There were no hidden fees. She gave us all the paperwork and showed us the cost. She discussed everything. She wanted to know about my friend and how his condition was. The dining area was clean, but I didn't see any food preparation. I was kind of surprised that we were able to visit considering that we're still in pandemic, but everybody was wearing masks. I saw a library, a waiting room, and a movie theater. They have a nice movie theater and dining room. If family comes and they want privacy, they have a conference room, as well, where the families could meet. They have upgraded the facility.

My 92 y/o uncle needed some rehab time after eye surgery, and we needed to get him into a facility very quickly. After reaching out to several facilities in the Briarcliff Manor area, Atria was by far the most friendly and helpful in meeting our urgent need. While only there for one month, the facility and the staff completely met our needs and made my uncle welcome and comfortable. I would strongly recommend Atria to those looking for either a short or long term assisted living solution for their loved ones.

The staff at Atria Briarcliff have been of tremendous help to my mother since she moved into the facility two weeks before the Covid Pandemic kicked in. I believe that their firm protocols are the reason my mother is alive today; that can't be said for residents at other facilities where the administration didn't take things seriously. My mother is feeling better than she has in years and has dropped 60+ pounds by eating the healthier options available on the Atria menu (she says "try the salmon", by the way). Other places may be fancier but there's no one else I'd trust my mom's health and well-being to than Atria Briarcliff. She's looking forward to the resumption of normal activities and so am I.

I visited Atria Briarcliff Manor. It was an in-person tour. We were able to see where we were planning to live. The director that we met with was very helpful and very informative. I can say only good things. The rooms were very nice. They don't have a pool and there's not much space for therapy. They were very limited in what they would have in terms of facility for physical therapy. The facade was very nice. Atria Briarcliff Manor looked nice. The staff was nice. The room was very nice and it looked like a nice place to be. The location was kinda special for my father because it was on the side of the town where the town pool and the town park where we used to go there when we were kids, so that was part of what attracted us to go there in the first place to go look at it because it was familiar to him.

Atria Briarcliff Manor was very nice, very clean, and very small, but the rooms were a decent size. My dad is always on the go, and the facility didn't have very much going on. The staff was excellent, informative, and very accommodating. It was a very quiet place.

Atria Briarcliff Manor was lovely. The people were lovely. Everything seemed fine. The only thing is whenever you're hungry, you can't just go in and have something to eat. You have to eat when everybody else eats. It was a little bit older, but it was lovely and beautifully kept. The staff was very nice. I was very satisfied and we could have fit in very easily. It wasn't a very large a community, but the residents and the staff seemed very friendly.

My mother is in Atria Briarcliff Manor. They help with medication and have been very supportive. The staff is friendly and kind. They have beautiful grounds located close to a village. The rooms are small but very nice. She goes to meals and sometimes bingo. It's not the best variety of activities for her, but it's good for some people. It's on the expensive side.

I liked Atria Briarcliff, I thought the layout was better, and they’ve got more space, so they’ve got more options for facilities. It was more appealing; it was around the corner from a little town, and there was a library. It seemed more comfortable. However, it bothered me that if someone got sick or fell, they don’t have the facility to treat them; they would have to go out to a hospital or rehab. You have to leave again if you need a nursing facility.

Atria Briarcliff Manor was only 15 minutes away from me. It was different because there was one big hall that went through the entire facility. Off this hall, there was a library, a movie room, a dining room, and a bingo room. It was all very attractive and uplifting. I thought it was fantastic. The staff was really rooting for my father, and they made the room he was going to be in so nice and comfy. It was a little studio with a sink, a small refrigerator, and a big bathroom. The staff disconnected the microwave because I told them to.

Atria Briarcliff Manor was very nice. We looked at a studio that was too small. The one-bedroom unit perhaps would have fit her needs. The rooms and the whole facility were in wonderful condition. The staff was very helpful and not pushy. They had some sort of discussion class type of thing going on when we were there, and it seemed to be very well attended. It seemed like a social place. They had a cafe and a regular dining area, which looked like a very nice restaurant.

We liked that the memory care was very small at Atria Briarcliff Manor. They had only 15 patients. The director of sales used to be the director of the program in the memory care. When we got there, they were doing puzzles while a gentleman played the piano, and the residents were on their way to dinner. I also met the coordinator of the program. Everyone was very friendly and the residents greeted most of the staff members. My sister joined me, and we asked them about different levels of care, like what if my 89-year-old mom fell or something catastrophic happened, and they told us about their medical procedures. I was impressed because it had its own courtyard, and it's right next to a park. They told me that part of the program involves taking walks into town and having trips. They followed up with phone calls at different times.

My stepmother stayed for 11 months at Atria in Briarcliff manor after having had a stroke. She was 95 yrs old. Her care was exceptinal. She suffered from periods of dementia, and periods of being just fine. When she was fine, she believed that she was in a 5 star hotel while her condo was being painted. My stepsisters visited daily, and I took my father to visit at least monthly. I hope, if I ever need an assisted living placement that there will be something as nice as Atria.

Wrap around porches are nice but hands on care is more essential. Visit family often if they stay for and request appropriate care. Perhaps well-meaning but nominal standards for the price. Hope it improves.
