"My daughter took me here for a tour. Everything was nice and very clean. The dining room was nice. Their rooms were fine and good. There's a patio and that's good. The food was good. They have many menus and they were good. They did have a lot of activities there. They have games and movie nights. They have an exercise room and they also have a garden where you can go out and sit outside. Everybody was pleasant. I enjoyed my visit in this facility. It's a place I would stay if I move up there."

"My uncle was at Harbour View Senior Living. The care was very good. He didn't complain about the food. Everybody was just very helpful. It was very clean, a little old, but usable. They had physical therapy. They had a lounging room for everyone. They got you out of your bed every day, and again, they were just very friendly."

"I chose Atria Cutter Mill because everything's included and there's no tipping. I think the food is great. I used to be in the restaurant business, and I think they do a good job. There are many activities. They have movie night, bingo, blackjack, and current events. My apartment is beautiful and it's roomy enough. I have a one-bedroom, a small kitchen with no burners, just a microwave and a refrigerator, and that's fine because they feed you three times a day. The staff members are amazing. They have exercise programs, weights, and Tai Chi. They have all kinds of stuff. They even have physical therapy."

"We went down to the Hallmark and the staff there was great. They were so helpful and friendly. Their dining room and their food were both wonderful. It was like dining in a four-diamond establishment. They had activities like bingo, movies and church services. They went out on trips. However, my aunt didn't like the area. "

"The Esplanade at Palisades was neat and clean. The rooms were big. The staff member was kind of a rather affectionate woman that cared about her job. It was lunchtime, so the dining area was full of people, and she just showed me around to some of the places where they gathered to do crafts, and a few places like that, and their weekly schedule board. She gave us a nice folder of the menu and gave me a nice gift bag. She also called me a couple of days later. She did a nice follow-up. The facility was nice and big."

"The person I visited at The Knolls really likes the place. It has a very big Olympic-sized swimming pool, and she is a swimmer, so she really loves that. She can drive her car and everything, so she is kind of on her own, and she likes that of course. She has a two-bedroom that has a really nice kitchen, and she can cook her own food if she wants. She has a washer and dryer in the bathroom, and there's one room that is set up like an office with a desk, and she can use that. I saw the dining room, but no one was eating in it. I didn't meet any staff, but my friend showed us the place herself. The facility is not brand new, but it's not really old either, so it's nice."

"I toured Gladhaven Club. They gave me a nice tour. They provide three meals a day. The dining room and serving facilities looked to be perfectly fine. The housekeeping and the age of the facility were fine, too. I appreciate the opportunity to talk with the owner and operator of the facility. However, the sleeping space that I would be assigned to, because that was the only room available, was just too small for someone who is an independent individual such as myself. It's not a one-bedroom apartment, not even a studio. It's less than a studio size. I was taken to the dining room where they were beginning to serve some lunch, and I saw the outside of the facility, too. It's an old house from early the 1900s. It's sort of an antique."

"Atria was lovely. Everything was excellent, and I was ready to check-in myself. The staff was excellent, very friendly, and very accommodating. It was a great place, and the room was clean. It would have been good for my mother. "

"I liked the tour I had at The Willows Home. It was good. I like the staff who gave the tour, and they called me after that. They seemed to be nice people. I like the price, too, and I think the staff was courteous. It's a house that they transformed into assisted living because the house has about 12 rooms. The house is very old, but it's clean. The layout is good."

"I toured the New Nautilus Hotel. When I looked around the room it was so great, the balcony, but the only thing I wish they had working was the pool because they have a pool, but there's no water in it. That was the only thing missing, but the atmosphere and the rooms were nice. Everything was nice about the place. It's right in front of the beach. The staff was very friendly, the front desk personnel, and the security."

"The staff knew everybody there, and they were very friendly and very welcoming. It was very clean. The rooms had more than some of the other places I visited, like there was a microwave and a refrigerator as opposed to some of these places where you have to bring your own. My mother is there now, and they have enough activities for her where they do things, she could go back and rest in her room, and then come down later for a new activity."

"We toured Kittay House 3 times. With them, it's not the same as with other places. It's very immaculate. The presentation was fantastic. The lady was like I knew her like family, very knowledgeable and kind. That's how nice it is. The room was very well put together and very cost effective. They have all the amenities. The lunchroom was beautiful. We had lunch there, it was very nice. They have a menu to choose from, but they can make something for you if you don't like the daily menu. The old folks looked alive and friendly. They nicely carry on a conversation. That is the best place I would think of, and I would highly recommend it. "

"Isabella Geriatric Center was very nice, but it seemed more like a hospital setting. It seemed very busy and very big, but it seemed very competent and very clean. The staff was very nice and very pleasant. It seemed to have quite a bit of activities. There was a list of things that they can do there that kept everybody very busy. They had a waiting list, too. "

"We're very safe here at Inwood Hillside Senior Affordable Passive House. It's a nice community. It's a mixture of nationality and race. The people are friendly, too. The building is very nice and brand new. We prepare our own meals. For activities, they have a knitting class where we can make things, and they offer free internet. They have two community areas. One is outdoors and one is indoors. The staff members are very nice. The upkeep is very good. They keep the building very clean daily. Because the hallways are carpeted, they vacuum them. They keep the laundry room clean as well."
