"My daughter took me here for a tour. Everything was nice and very clean. The dining room was nice. Their rooms were fine and good. There's a patio and that's good. The food was good. They have many menus and they were good. They did have a lot of activities there. They have games and movie nights. They have an exercise room and they also have a garden where you can go out and sit outside. Everybody was pleasant. I enjoyed my visit in this facility. It's a place I would stay if I move up there."

"My husband was at Coterie Hudson Yards and it was a really beautiful place. It was a modern building, and that was what he liked very much. He liked to stay there and be cared for by people. Occasionally, he would come home to his studio and they would provide him with a car service. His studio apartment was quite roomy with very high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows looking outside, and plenty of closet space. He brought in his own paintings to hang on the walls. Also at the entrance, there's a glass box where he could put his things that he can organize in his room, and that was a very nice touch. There was no kitchen, but it had a big bathroom. He participated in the exercises, and there was someone who was instructing him how to draw and paint. They also had performances and music programs. The interaction with the staff was good, but because he was new, it was a little disorganized. But I guess that was a normal thing. I didn't experience the meals. On the top floor, they have a restaurant, and we enjoyed having a family dinner or breakfast there."

"Our experience at Harbour View Senior Living was good. The admissions process was simple and easy. Staff was able to send ahead of time, photos and information about their activities and what they do. And then upon arrival, it was also very efficient. Meeting the team members between activities and the nurses all came around even before I left that day, which was great. I think my father had a good experience. He has onset dementia, so he doesn't remember all the things all the time, but they did send me also updated videos of him when I was away engaged in different activities and made sure that he had his phone available so that I could speak with them regularly. So, they were very helpful. On the return, I didn't see anyone. But I do want to do like, a follow-up of how everything went while he was there. But overall I think it was a good experience. The room was like a dorm room, very plain and simple. I brought everything that he needed, a television and his clothes. His dorm room, basically with his bathroom, was nothing fancy. They have lots of common areas. They even have a little chapel there. They have lots of activities."

"I chose Atria Cutter Mill because everything's included and there's no tipping. I think the food is great. I used to be in the restaurant business, and I think they do a good job. There are many activities. They have movie night, bingo, blackjack, and current events. My apartment is beautiful and it's roomy enough. I have a one-bedroom, a small kitchen with no burners, just a microwave and a refrigerator, and that's fine because they feed you three times a day. The staff members are amazing. They have exercise programs, weights, and Tai Chi. They have all kinds of stuff. They even have physical therapy."

"Stopped by the community to visit a friend's mom. Beautiful lobby, friendly staff at the desk and lots of residents coming and going. An amazing art exibit going on in the lobby. I want to live here! "

"The Esplanade at Palisades provided a lot of information. It was a very thorough tour. I saw the entire location and different activities. They showed me the different rooms that they had. They showed me the services that they can provide. With regards to their rooms, there are multiple options. For the lower cost, they have shared rooms, but I don't know if those would work for my mom, but it's worth considering. And it was nice to see that they have an option to make it affordable. The staff who gave the tour was really good and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of information. She was enthusiastic, too. They had a courtyard, but it was raining, so I didn't go outside."

"The person I visited at The Knolls really likes the place. It has a very big Olympic-sized swimming pool, and she is a swimmer, so she really loves that. She can drive her car and everything, so she is kind of on her own, and she likes that of course. She has a two-bedroom that has a really nice kitchen, and she can cook her own food if she wants. She has a washer and dryer in the bathroom, and there's one room that is set up like an office with a desk, and she can use that. I saw the dining room, but no one was eating in it. I didn't meet any staff, but my friend showed us the place herself. The facility is not brand new, but it's not really old either, so it's nice."

"We toured Thrive at Montvale. We liked the amenities, and we liked the fact that it was very new and very fresh. It was very nice. The staff was great, and we enjoyed the tour. We liked their meal plan and the size of the facility. It was not too big and not too small. We liked the fact that they could move from independent to assisted living if they needed to. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly, and they wanted to get to know my parents, which was good. The cleanliness was great. We liked the courtyard quite a bit. They had a garden room and a giant LEGO area for families to play in, and they had water features, but the units were a little bit on the small side. The atmosphere was vibrant, and we liked the setup, the layout, and the spaces."

"I toured Gladhaven Club. They gave me a nice tour. They provide three meals a day. The dining room and serving facilities looked to be perfectly fine. The housekeeping and the age of the facility were fine, too. I appreciate the opportunity to talk with the owner and operator of the facility. However, the sleeping space that I would be assigned to, because that was the only room available, was just too small for someone who is an independent individual such as myself. It's not a one-bedroom apartment, not even a studio. It's less than a studio size. I was taken to the dining room where they were beginning to serve some lunch, and I saw the outside of the facility, too. It's an old house from early the 1900s. It's sort of an antique."

"Atria was lovely. Everything was excellent, and I was ready to check-in myself. The staff was excellent, very friendly, and very accommodating. It was a great place, and the room was clean. It would have been good for my mother. "

"I liked the tour I had at The Willows Home. It was good. I like the staff who gave the tour, and they called me after that. They seemed to be nice people. I like the price, too, and I think the staff was courteous. It's a house that they transformed into assisted living because the house has about 12 rooms. The house is very old, but it's clean. The layout is good."

"I toured the New Nautilus Hotel. When I looked around the room it was so great, the balcony, but the only thing I wish they had working was the pool because they have a pool, but there's no water in it. That was the only thing missing, but the atmosphere and the rooms were nice. Everything was nice about the place. It's right in front of the beach. The staff was very friendly, the front desk personnel, and the security."

"I am so thankful I found this place, taking care of My father who was 80 years old was becoming hard on me and my family, we didn’t like the idea of a nursing home so we opted for Divine Serenity. Best decision ever!! My father would call me and tell me how well taken care of he is there, along with being served 3 great meals daily. Danielle is always at the top of her game, from scheduling his doctor appointments to medication schedule, she has never missed a beat. The home is stunning sitting on an acre of land, it provides a safe outdoor area for my father to take walks, or just sit and relax on a nice day. "The staff knew everybody there, and they were very friendly and very welcoming. It was very clean. The rooms had more than some of the other places I visited, like there was a microwave and a refrigerator as opposed to some of these places where you have to bring your own. My mother is there now, and they have enough activities for her where they do things, she could go back and rest in her room, and then come down later for a new activity."
