"I liked the New Nautilus Hotel. It was clean. They had a lot of activities right on the beach, and there were ocean views. They're very knowledgeable and very friendly. The apartment I saw had a little tiny space for a little refrigerator, counter, a bed, and a dresser. It was clean, nice, and efficient. It was large and had a lot of closet space. I saw a lot of people with the aides. Some people were walking around without any assistance. Some people had walkers. Some were in wheelchairs."

"My mom moved into Atria Forest Hills Assisted Living two weeks ago. It's a beautiful facility and very friendly. The room is very, very nice with a beautiful view of the park. My mother is very happy with the food. There's a whole range of activities from arts and crafts, to movies to lectures, to exercise."

"Atria Kew Gardens was very, very nice. Everything was nice, the people were nice, and the place was very clean. I'm very impressed with it, but the surrounding community is a little too congested. I'd probably go with a little bit more grounds. My tour was excellent. The activities were really nice, I saw their card games, bingo, card room, and it was very nice. The amenities were all very nice, I had no complaints. The apartments were absolutely beautiful. I saw both a one-bedroom and a studio, they were both very, very nice."

"Atria Huntington was very clean and homey. Everyone was very friendly. The rooms were nice, and the dining room was nice. It did feel a little upscale. They had three meals. "

"Lohman Village at The Wartburg Adult Care Community was very nice. I like their independent living facility and they are not very pricey. The staff was all very friendly, the amenities were nice, and their common dining room was also nice. This is where both the assisted living residents and the independent living residents go to. I would recommend this facility to others. "

"I stayed in Atria for three days for respite care. They were extremely reasonable in price. The facility was pleasantly decorated and handicapped accessible of course. The environment was clean and pleasant. Their rooms were pleasant and neat too. The dining room was clean, but what impressed me the most was that you have a white-tablecloth service. They have white tablecloth and white napkin and that's important. They provide three meals a day. You have a menu with at least four entrees every meal and then you can have, if you want, a chicken salad with sides or tuna salad. The food was plentiful and it was excellent. They have a little kitchen area where they have coffee, tea and drinks available all the time around-the-clock and that was pleasant. There were fair amounts of activities there, not a lot though. They have exercise class and bingo. I would have liked more. The staff was all pleasant and available from the front desk. They did have an RN available too and their service was good. "

"I toured the independent living community of Carnegie East House in New York. I like the friendliness of the staff and the whole setup. I like the rooms, the dining area, the common areas, and the menus they offer. I also like the location and the cost. The place struck me as wonderful. It's very appealing and very clean, and I like the decor."

"I'm very impressed with Birchwood Suites. I liked it very much, but I want to see other options, and the price was high. I want independent living, and I'd like to have a place to sit outside, and I am coming with my cat. I like that I had kind of my own cottage with two entrances, and it had an outside little tiny patio where I could sit. I spoke to the director, Natasha, and she led me around the place. She was very nice and very encouraging. The facility looked pretty good. I had a separate bedroom, a separate living room, and a small kitchenette. The bathroom looked good."

"I went to Atria Bay Shore today. It's fantastic. I wish I could afford it, but I can't. It was a mansion. There isn't anything that you would need if you live there. They have a studio. I looked at the one bedroom. It's small, but it's perfect, and they have a little kitchen with a microwave. But their meals are fantastic. It's three meals a day and then they have a place where you go anytime you want and have coffee. The staff is lovely and wonderful, and they have on-site PT with a PT specialist. . They also have on-site where you could have doctor visits with doctors and you wouldn't have to go out of the place. I walked into the dining room at lunchtime, and the food was restaurant-style, absolutely wonderful. They sent me home with a box. The activities are Sunday through Saturday, and Sunday it's religious services if you want Taichi, positivity where they play games, arts, musical entertainment, Walking challenge, and movie time. Every day they are up until 715 at night when they have movie time. You just have to have the money to live there. If I can afford it, I would move there tomorrow."

"I'm very happy with Atria Riverdale. I find it very friendly. The staff does outstanding work in trying to make everybody feel very comfortable. They're caring. They're not just employees. They care about the people and they worry about their health and how they feel and if they're healthy. If somebody hasn't shown up for dinner, the staff, on their own, will go and check if that person is alright. It's a very caring place. The people overall enjoy the help. The food is adequate. They try to keep the residents busy with different activities like bingo, movies, lectures, and book clubs. They stay active, which is very important for this type of place. They have a gym, a barber shop that's open two days a week, and the ladies take advantage of the beauty salon. We like the movies a lot."

"I have been residing at Atria West 86th for nearly 10 years. My experiences has been ups and down, but overall the facility has been good to me. The socialization activities has given me purpose and joy. I love living here."

"I toured Coterie Hudson Yards, but it's super expensive. What I liked the best about this place was that they had Michelin-star chefs cooking their meals, they had pretty much an entire floor that's dedicated to emergency medical care, and they can do 95% of what an emergency room can do. They had the best doctors in New York City that money can buy. However, the thing that I liked least was the money, because only billionaires could afford it. The staff that they had was the pick of the litter in New York City. I've tried the food prepared by their Michelin-starred chefs. It's not only delicious, but their menu has to be approved by Mayo Clinic just to make sure they're not only delicious but very healthy for their residents. Even though they didn't have a pool, they had a shuttle that goes to a pool all the time. They had a gym, a courtyard, and a salon. They had pastries that the pastry chefs made that you can get at any time of the day."
