I actually moved into Pine Oak Senior Community. It’s for senior citizens 62 and over. I have been here only a week, but the people at the front desk are really nice and helpful. There are all 1-bedrooms in this complex, but they do things like they get the garbage. I liked it. The rooms were a little bigger. The apartments are really nice. They’re clean, and they put a new carpet down so I was happy with them when I walked in here. Each place has a balcony. They have nice landscaping around. The neighborhood is pretty decent, and there is a grocery store just a block away at the most. They’ll bring your groceries over if you need it. There’s a bank at the corner down the street and they’ll come here once a week and help you do your banking stuff. It’s almost like assisted-living. The rent was fine price-wise. Everybody else had a waiting list. They just had openings, and it works out OK for me because my son lives about half a mile from here.

Your low monthly payment includes ALL utilities such as electricity, heat, water, sewer and trash removal. We strive to offer outstanding service! Our community patio and Community Room will be home to many community events for those on the go including dinners, Cook Outs, BINGO and so much more!
Pine Oak Apartments is a senior citizen community located at 850-36th Street SW in Wyoming, Michigan. Conveniently located along the city bus line and easy access to US 131 as well as within walking distance of grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants. We have an on site beauty shop and craft room with library and pool table. A monthly community newsletter/calendar is distributed and loaded with activities especially for our senior residents to enjoy in our large community room.
Our wonderfully maintained six story high-rise building has 127 one-bedroom units. All units have 528 square feet of cozy living space, a balcony/patio with a beautiful wooded view, oak cabinets in the kitchen and an emergency pull-cord system that is monitored 24 hours.
