I actually moved into Pine Oak Senior Community. It’s for senior citizens 62 and over. I have been here only a week, but the people at the front desk are really nice and helpful. There are all 1-bedrooms in this complex, but they do things like they get the garbage. I liked it. The rooms were a little bigger. The apartments are really nice. They’re clean, and they put a new carpet down so I was happy with them when I walked in here. Each place has a balcony. They have nice landscaping around. The neighborhood is pretty decent, and there is a grocery store just a block away at the most. They’ll bring your groceries over if you need it. There’s a bank at the corner down the street and they’ll come here once a week and help you do your banking stuff. It’s almost like assisted-living. The rent was fine price-wise. Everybody else had a waiting list. They just had openings, and it works out OK for me because my son lives about half a mile from here.
