I visited Storypoint West with my family looking for a lace for my mother in law. The food was excellent, I was truly surprised because I thought the food would be more hospital like... there was plenty of options and our whole table was very happy. The facility is clean, bright and friendly, the residents are very active and the staff was great everyone stopped and took the time to talk to us, I am glad we are on the waiting list for this community.

The room are of a good size for my mothers needs. Maintenance does very a nice job keeping thing in good working order. Floor staff are very friendly and caring toward my mothers needs. The food is very good and my mother enjoys not having to prepare food and cleaning up dishes anymore. She loves waiting in anticipation to see what surprises they are serving that particular day. She also enjoys having her family come and enjoy a meal with her throughout the week. Mother seems to enjoy the interaction with others at the many activities that are provided to residents. She plans her week around key activities that interest her.

My mother has been a resident for over 4 years. The staff has always been extremely caring & loving to her. If you ask her about the food she will tell you it’s great. She especially likes fact that she doesn’t have to cook or clean up after eating. My family feels extremely grateful to have our mother in a very safe & loving environment.

Our Mother has been a resident since February 2020. She is very happy and there are many activities to keep her active and engaged. The meal options offered at each setting are varied, well rounded, nutritional and tasty. Employees, from Eric all the way to the part time dining room staff are very friendly and accommodating to our Mother as well as family that comes to visit. We are very grateful that our Mother is residing at StoryPoint Grand Rapids West.

I HIGHLY recommend Story Pointe Lincoln Square. The staff is absolutely amazing and truly care for their residence. We were fortunate to have my mother-in-law stay at Lincoln Square. They were available to help us feel comfortable during this transitional time by answering our questions. Thank you Lincoln Square Staff!!!

I have a family member who is a veteran and has some mental difficulties as well as physical. The staff is very patient, kind and helpful in many ways, providing him with the kind of care he no longer can receive at home due to aging parents. This facility is very beneficial to help and remain as independent as possible..

Although my moms health declined before we could use this facility, Shanon gave me a great tour and was so helpful with information and follow up to do everything they could to help me and my mom. I will be forever grateful for her thoughtfulness.

My mother-in-law will be moving into Holiday Lincoln Square. We brought her down here with my husband, brother-in-law, and his wife. They reserved us a table and invited us to join her for lunch. We had an excellent meal. People that were in the community came up to speak with her. The tour was awesome. We love the building because it's airy. It's got a lot of activities for her. She's a very active senior and has not been able to be active in the last two years because of her mobility. Getting in a car and driving into the senior center was not convenient for her. This place has everything. It's got a beauty salon, a chapel, and a library; she loves to read. They have a wonderful activity director that was very welcoming. She found out that my mother-in-law knows how to play hand, foot, and elbow. She'd never heard of that and was really interested in having her share the rules and teach other people. When we came in to move things, they were doing chair exercises. It was just a very welcoming community. They had a refreshed bar that always had hot water, coffee, decaf coffee, and the little tracts that my mother-in-law likes to read, the little religious tracts that were available to anyone that would want to read them. The mailbox was close, it was convenient. The laundry rooms were clean. The whole room she's going to move into is bright, cheery, and beautiful. There wasnt anything we did not like about it except they don't have a freight elevator to be moving furniture up. That's going to be difficult because we're not young, and moving these things is not going to be easy. But we'll manage because we'd like to get her in there. Other than that, the staff was courteous, they were welcoming, and they answered questions. It just was a good experience. The dining area is beautiful and very nice. People came and welcomed her. The staff was wonderful. The woman that came up and took our order also does housekeeping. We met her in the hall, and she brought some towels and bedding for my mother-in-law. They were not only welcoming, but informative, and willing to answer any questions that we would have. The food was excellent. They gave me a couple different choices of the food. It's just like a five-star hotel.

Lincoln Square was very friendly and had a warm atmosphere. There was a lot of security too because when we went in there, I had to answer some questions, they took my picture, and I also had a name tag. I was surprised but very grateful for it because they don't just let anyone in. The carpeting was outdated, and that was kind of a big turnoff, but the person who assisted me also said that another company had bought them out and they were going to be spending, I don't know if she said $1 million or $3 million on renovations and I liked that. I think once they do the renovations, it will be nice. We saw pictures all over the residence. As we were walking along, people were asking me questions like if I was planning on living there, or moving there soon, and a few others. They were very personable. There's always something to do like you just want to sit in the main area and watch the people walk around and come in and out. There were a couple of them doing puzzles in an area and the rest of the activities. There's something for everyone. They don't have carports. They have a few garages, but very limited. Shannon, the person who assisted me, was great. She was commenting on a few of the clients there like, "Oh, he's home from the hospital." She also knew everyone by name and they said hi to her as we walked by. I did not try the food but she showed me the menu, and I loved that there were so many choices. There was the basic meal but you could also have a couple of other different choices, too and I liked that.

The overall experience my wife and I have while living here in Lincoln Square has been good. Our apartment is spacious, comfortable, and clean. The staff is very friendly, the food is absolutely fine, and they have several activities for the residents. They have bingo, card playing, and the veterans get together once every third Wednesday of the month to talk and have coffee. So, they have something going on every single day. It's quiet, convenient, and pleasant to look at. It's in an area that is surrounded by trees, so it has a country setting even though it's in the city. My wife and I love it here.

My parents stayed here. They brought their dinners to their room. It's beautiful in there, but they did not get to experience any of that because they were not allowed to leave their room and go into the rest of the building. Everybody was very friendly, nice, and accommodating. If they needed something, they were always willing to help them get what they needed. They did not like the food though.

It was clean and attractive. The staff and everybody was friendly with me. Everything that I saw was taken care of as needed. They have bingo and they were celebrating a birthday when I was there. The dining room was clean with separate tables that seat four people, and the wait staff was very attentive to the needs of everybody.

It is very nice and certainly a cut above the average facility. It had everything that we needed. The 1-bedroom was small and there's a lack of storage. They were certainly at the top of the line as far as activities. People were friendly, courteous, and professional.

We went here, which was very nice. The gentleman who I talked to was very helpful, delightful, and caring, and exactly who you would want to be working with. They have meals, but my mother doesn't want meals. That's a very big factor. However, we were very happy with this place. It was very clean, not too big, and had a nice layout. The people were very friendly. We had a meal that tasted good. We were very happy with the place. The location was good for us.

I went here for a visit, and it's a very nice place. I like that it looked like a community within itself. I was shown the room, and it was nice, and it would suit my mom. I was impressed that they have a beauty shop. They also provide good things for the residents there. I really like this community a lot.
