"My mother was diagnosed with dementia and after a fall I spent a year and a 1/2 caring for her in her home. It quickly progressed and I ran out of the means to meet all her needs so we moved her into a memory care facility. It was very obvious in little time it was not working out and I was left with little options on how to help her and where to turn. That’s when I came upon StoryPoint. From my first phone call and tour with Jeff I could see the love, passion, and caring community they offer right away. My mother wasn’t local, but Rebekah and Jamie handled all the details and made getting her moved in so smooth for not only her but us as well with ease and peace of mind. The staff is kind, and helpful whenever you have a need or concern. They truly love their residents and care about their well being. We’ve experienced everyone from the executive director on down stepping in and helping one another to get a task done for the well being of their residents and no one’s needs go unmet. From the things to do, beautiful garden and home like settings they have many ways to keep residents engaged. They love on my mom like one of their own, and the entire team goes above and beyond for their residents, on when her birthday they decorated, had treats and celebrated her day because they truly do care. I wish we would have found them at the very beginning, but even though we didn’t, I am beyond grateful to have them apart of our lives now. I know my mom is in great, loving hands when I can’t be with her and that we have found the perfect place. I can’t recommend StoryPoint enough. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts."

"Friendship Village is a huge community, and they have senior cottages. They have concerts, musicians, and visiting professors -- lots of activities. The staff was very nice, but it was not as friendly. The dining area was fabulous, and it’s dated. "

"I was able to visit here and it was great. If I had sent my husband there sooner, he would have had a nice place. The staff are very accommodating. The one room I visited was very small and dark -- it was in the middle of the building -- but I am sure they have cheerier rooms. They didn’t show me any activities, but they I know that they do have an activities director. "

"I will be moving into Centre Meadows Apartments. They're clean and updated, and the people are nice. The staff is very helpful and answered all my questions. The facility is very nice. It didn't have any foul odor. We went into a room and looked around. The size was a little bigger than what mine would be, but it had a balcony, a nice kitchen, and a bedroom. It's very nice and very clean."

"My husband will be moving to Blueberry Hill Assisted Living. We had a very nice tour of the place, and the staff was very nice and informative. They also have lots of things for the residents to get involved in. I don't think the assisted living room we saw was the largest, but there was nothing wrong with it. The upkeep of the place was very good, too. We went through the dining area, and it was very clean."

"The room in which my mother lives is a studio style room. It is adequate for her. The staff is wonderful. I have not yet met anyone who is not kind or compassionate. The community offers many activities, however my mother rarely participates. All staff encourage her but she is hesitant."
