"StoryPoint is an extremely decent, clean, modern, caring, and user-friendly community. Staff and contract-staff are all helpful and friendly. There is a feeling of ‘wanting to please’. My questions and concerns have been patiently listened too, answered with curtesy, and an informational resolution has always been attained. An activities calendar is available and full of daily busy-ness. In-house medical/physical programs are available for additional charge; these range from ala-carte care, i.e. shower help, to packages of overseeing to a high degree. Overall, should you or your loved one be in a position of re-evaluating their current home status, and are considering a move to a care community, please accept this sincere recommendation for StoryPoint. "Friendship Village is a huge community, and they have senior cottages. They have concerts, musicians, and visiting professors -- lots of activities. The staff was very nice, but it was not as friendly. The dining area was fabulous, and it’s dated. "

"Huge thank you to StoryPoint - Kalamazoo. Since my mom moved in, in October 2023, we have seen that not all heroes wear capes. My mom was welcomed, with open arms, when she moved in. And she has been “home” ever since. When she fell and broke her hip, in early 2024, the StoryPoint folks were amazing and patiently and compassionately helped us navigate the situation. We were able to arrange for additional services and the transition home was seamless. The community is beautiful and the staff outstanding. We are so thankful to have found such an amazing community for my mom. She is happy and we are able to relax knowing that she is safe and cared for."

"My friend moved to Centre Meadows which is a 55 and older apartment complex. I like the location the best. The least would be the lack of staff communication. They offer food drop-off five days a week, Monday through Friday. They do cookouts and they have luncheons (it's mostly female there and he's male). They also have a movie theater, hair salon, a game room that has a pool table, and a fitness room. So, it's an excellent value for the money."

"My husband will be moving to Blueberry Hill Assisted Living. We had a very nice tour of the place, and the staff was very nice and informative. They also have lots of things for the residents to get involved in. I don't think the assisted living room we saw was the largest, but there was nothing wrong with it. The upkeep of the place was very good, too. We went through the dining area, and it was very clean."

"The room in which my mother lives is a studio style room. It is adequate for her. The staff is wonderful. I have not yet met anyone who is not kind or compassionate. The community offers many activities, however my mother rarely participates. All staff encourage her but she is hesitant."
