It was a very clean place, and the staff was very friendly. It's a good layout. They got assisted living on one side, and they have your independent living on the other."

The staff truly cares about the well-being of their residents and wants to make a difference in their lives. "I visited. The staff was very helpful, she took me to their newly renovated dining area, and the core part of the building. She did a beautiful job at showing me the facility. It was wonderful to see her greet people by name, so it seems like they knew their residents quite well."

"I toured this facility. The rooms were perfect. It's exactly what we needed. It still might be on our list. The staff was great. Everything was great. It's a perfect match for us, but for some reason my mom is reluctant to go there. The food looked good, too. They have a two-bedroom available plus a washer and dryer in the unit. They have an exercise room, they have movies, and they have special gathering rooms. They have it all. It's brand new, too."

"My mom moved from independent living to assisted living after she broke her hip last fall. At first everything was confusing and a bit chaotic. We soon found out that they had some Covid cases so that’s why the activities and social engagement we expected were not happening. Once they got over the outbreak, things improved. Mom received physical therapy and occupational therapy and soon was walking with her walker for short distances. After 7 months, she is back to her old self except for getting around as well as she used to. The activities in assisted living are awesome. Mom is participating more than she ever did. This is due to those running these activities as they are very engaging. She does crafts, flower arranging and plays games which she didn’t do before. She loves the exercise classes. Her room is smaller but she has everything she needs and the size is appropriate for her. We would like to see more communication regarding changes in care when they happen as often times we find out after the fact which causes unnecessary stress and confusion for the family."

"I would say Sentinel Pointe Retirement Community was tired, but they're trying to update it. The rooms were off putting a little bit because it's a bit older. The staff was absolutely top-notch. The desire to serve was there, and you could feel it. There was such a very strong sense of community among the staff and the residents. They were trying to update the atmosphere of the dining place. The staff was so fabulous that they compensated for the tiredness of the place."

"My parents moved to the Royal Atrium Inn. They were all very friendly, it was very clean, and it didn't smell. They all have a chef, and they have all different foods, and all these fancy meals. My mom and dad love it. Sarah and Sue are helpful and friendly. Their unit is a room, but it has a bay window and a large bathroom. My mom uses a walker, so she can get into the bathroom. It's spacious enough, and so is the room. They've done bingo, exercise class, and some arts and crafts. The value of the money was another thing that was appealing because it is such a nice place, and it was one of the cheaper ones than the other places I had just called, so more for your money."

"I am now living at Royal Park Place. I've only been here a month but it's met all my expectations. I like it here very much and I'm quite satisfied. The food is excellent, very good, and delicious. The people here are so wonderful. They're busy, but they always have time to talk to you if you have a question. They have lots of programs and activities going on all the time so they make it easy to meet the other people. It's a beautiful facility. We have way more activities than one person could do and there are lots to choose from. It's a moderate price."
