"Touring Holland Home Raybrook Campus was an enjoyable experience of seeing what was available. They presented different options in terms of living arrangements and different types of financial costs associated with that. The place was well done and well kept up and people were hospitable. Given that I taught at a college, this place was located very close to that college so that we could continue to enjoy the activities that are associated with the college. There were common areas. There's this swimming pool, a woodworking shop, an exercise place, and different restaurants."

"Overall the facility wasn't bad, of course nothing is like home but the care provided was good. My grand father could not go home so the care that was provided to him was very good. The staff worked hard to take care of him and provided the best possible care to him. They also worked very hard to physiclly rehabilte him. "

"Friendly staff. Our biggest concern is that our father refuses to bathe and they don't force him to. Seems as though it would be a health issue to not have a clean body. They also don't seem to encourage him very much to participate in the planned activities. He is content to stay in his room and I think with a little encouragement he could be taken in his wheelchair to the activity room and might just enjoy some of the activities that are planned.We also have concerns with billing - several times we haven't received our bill in a timely manner. And our medicaid recertification was sent to Dad - and was just dropped back in the mail with please forward to us. Post Office returned to sender and therefore our paperwork was late getting back to the state. "

"All the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful, and appeared to enjoy their jobs. Whenever I visited, residents would greet me and many visited each other like they were family. Hard working staff."

"I'm looking at Corewell Health Rehabilitation and Nursing Center because they have long-term care for my brother. He could live independently and someone would just check in on him throughout the day. And my family and myself can check in on him as well. So the goal is that facility, which is nice. They have all the numbers for doctors' appointments and everything that my brother needs. They can provide exactly what he needs. It's a very nice and clean facility, and so I'm hopeful that that's a place that we can get to very soon. They have some rooms that are private, but even the shared rooms are big with a curtain between them. It is a huge room. The bathroom and things are made for patients that are in wheelchairs and such. It's very nice, very clean, and very hospital like. The staff is friendly. I happened to walk in when they had about 20 residents in a room doing some mental math games. And the nurse that showed me around was very professional and very thorough. I spoke to a family who was taking their mother out to breakfast, and so I asked them what they think about it, and they said it's topnotch. So for me, it's good. It's close to my parents' house, so they can visit him. It's one of the best I've seen."

"My mother, who recently passed away,lived at Holland Homes for eight years. She could not have recieved better care at any price. The staff is very attentive and caring to the residents. All of her needs were always met there. Every time I visited the staff was very friendly and inviting. She was never treated bad. They treat their residents with care and compassion. Visiting is very flexible. The facility is very clean and well kept. Nurses and other staff keep family members updated about the resident. I would recommend this nursing home more than any other one in kentwood. There is a wide range of of activities for the clients to take part in and they are also able to leave the facility and go on walks or get time outside. I never had an issue arise from any of the staff members here. My mothers long time friend also stayed here and I often visited and she was well taken care of. "

"Covenant Village of the Great Lakes was a little bit too expensive for me. The people were nice, and they had a lot of activities going on. The rooms were quite spacious. They were nice. I have eaten there, and the meals were very good. If you can afford it, it could be a nice place to stay. "

"We toured St. Ann's Home for my aunt. They were very informed and very helpful to us. When we sat and spoke with them, they took their time to just walk us through an area we had a question about, which was nice. If we can't get into the other facility, we'll probably go here. I had a lot of questions, and there were some questions I hadn't even thought of, and she was very helpful to walk through those steps with me, encouraging me and giving me the information I didn't even know to ask, so I thought that was good. It was very clean. They were in the process of renovating a room, so we knew that it was kept up. They didn't leave things to get old, and everything seemed very convenient. Where you go from your room to eat or whatever wasn't that far away, which was nice."

"My husband ,Denny was a patient for 5 months. He was taken such great care of. The nurses , physical therapists. , all the care givers that took care of his everyday needs , maintenance people, Cleaning staff. , dietary staff. , Financial gals. ( Joy ). And I must not forget. Barb, his chaplain. Even the the whole Supervisory staff. Everyone there gave such love and such tender care. We loved you all. If I missed thanking someone I'm so sorry. "My mother was at Brookcrest for a little while when she had back surgery. They were good. Sanitation was OK. They kept everything clean. Food and dining area were fine. The room was good. "

"Our Family member was a resident of Health Bridge Wyoming for a few months. The Care Staff from the CNA's, Nurses, Social Servies the entire Health Bridge team worked with our Aunt and family and we were very impressed with their kindness, response to questions and overall great customer services. The direct care staff CNA's were exceptionally kind and all staff took great care of our Aunt. We could not have asked for better service or customer professionalism. Any issues or concern were immediately addressed. The kindness, care and patience given to our Aunt was exceptional. The health care system everywhere is experiencing staffing shortages - Health bridge managed this issue without sacrificing the care and respect towards my Aunt. We have been very impressed with the overall kindness of the staff and the great care she received. We cannot speak more highly of the care and kindness. Our Family would highly recommend Health Bridge. "

"Mom is at The Oaks at Belmont. We chose that place because of its location; that's where she grew up. The staff is very caring and I am really impressed with them. The facility is beautiful. I think every day they just engage Mom with activities. She went to a cooking class, she goes to exercise classes, they take her for walks, they're always checking in on her, and they have a bus that takes her on outings. I like the care they gave her, because she can use a walker, but she's wobbly, so they just put her in a wheelchair and we don't have to worry about her falling. When Mom had to go to a week in the hospital, everybody came up to us and asked what's wrong with her, where she was at, and that they missed her. They are genuine people. Everybody knows her and they're careful with her. They have a happy hour on Friday where they give drinks, cakes, or a charcuterie board. It's just a very nice little gathering and anybody can come to it. My husband has been there many times. They play music, they have singers come in, and I really like that they have pop machines, so you don't have to sit there and ask for a drink. You go up there and get your drink yourself. They have lemonade, tea, water, ginger ale, and Coke products, which I love. It's expensive, but they are taking really good care of her. The food's good, it's a brand-new facility, the staff is good, it's always clean, you don't have any foul odors coming out, and everything seems to be running pretty good. So, it's just what it is."
