"Allendale Nursing and Rehabilitation has been very good for my mom. We have been pleased. It is a nice clean place with pleasant people. The staff is onboard with everything. Everything seems to be good so far. The food looks OK, but it is not home-cooked. They have activities."

"My son-in-law is in Resthaven Care Center and it's an excellent place. They have good care and we like everything about it. The staff is very cooperative, congenial, and has been very helpful. My friend shares a bathroom with another patient, but has his own bedroom, which is quite good. My friend also seems to be OK with the food."

"The rooms are stark so we decorated ours. Food was rather dull but has improved 100 percent Bingo is 2 x a wk Gardening and crafts."

"My sister's a resident of Riverside Nursing & Rehabilitation Community. It's a very small nursing home and it's very old. It has three wings; it hasn't been kept up. The staff is very nice, especially the core staff, but they seem to have trouble keeping help. Everybody's always calling in sick, and you've got the kitchen person helping to clean rooms. My sister has a shared room. They have common areas, but it's very rundown. As far as I know, activities are pretty rare, they don't have a regular schedule of anything. I think they had bingo at one point. There's not any place for patients to go outside or anything, it's in a residential neighborhood. There's no big courtyard or anything."

"Very helpful staff from the minute we walked in to the complex. Our grandmother was here for almost a year and we were witness to several upgrades and advances within the facility which furthered our opinions. One of the most exciting improvements that were made while my grandmother was in this facility was the addition of the birds in the entrance way. On several occasions we would be on our way to see our grandmother and we would find her, and several other residents, absolutely transfixed by the birds and all of their movements throughout their cage. Along with this great experience, the new dining room floors really impressed us along with the in-house physical therapy unit which was incredible. The staff was also a great assist within this nursing community because they continually went above and beyond what was expected of them to make everyone in our family feel comfortable and at home. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this unit. "

"My mother was at Brookcrest for a little while when she had back surgery. They were good. Sanitation was OK. They kept everything clean. Food and dining area were fine. The room was good. "

"I am a friend of an Resident at Medilodge of Wyoming and each time I go to visit the building is always clean and the staff is very friendly. The food looks and smell very good and my friend always seem happy with food. If anyone in my family ever need rehab I would tell them about medilodge. Hope the staff there know that they are very special people."

"My mother-in-law was at Covenant Village of the Great Lakes for rehab, and it was fine. It's a very large, very nice, and beautiful facility. As far as rehab, her care was great. She probably was in the best health that she was in for years. "

"The Oaks at Byron Center was a very good facility that I walked through. It was very eye-pleasing, and it was clean. The residents looked happy and well cared for. The staff was very pleasant when I would ask questions."

"Our Family member was a resident of Health Bridge Wyoming for a few months. The Care Staff from the CNA's, Nurses, Social Servies the entire Health Bridge team worked with our Aunt and family and we were very impressed with their kindness, response to questions and overall great customer services. The direct care staff CNA's were exceptionally kind and all staff took great care of our Aunt. We could not have asked for better service or customer professionalism. Any issues or concern were immediately addressed. The kindness, care and patience given to our Aunt was exceptional. The health care system everywhere is experiencing staffing shortages - Health bridge managed this issue without sacrificing the care and respect towards my Aunt. We have been very impressed with the overall kindness of the staff and the great care she received. We cannot speak more highly of the care and kindness. Our Family would highly recommend Health Bridge. "

"We toured St. Ann's Home for my aunt. They were very informed and very helpful to us. When we sat and spoke with them, they took their time to just walk us through an area we had a question about, which was nice. If we can't get into the other facility, we'll probably go here. I had a lot of questions, and there were some questions I hadn't even thought of, and she was very helpful to walk through those steps with me, encouraging me and giving me the information I didn't even know to ask, so I thought that was good. It was very clean. They were in the process of renovating a room, so we knew that it was kept up. They didn't leave things to get old, and everything seemed very convenient. Where you go from your room to eat or whatever wasn't that far away, which was nice."

"I toured Douglas Cove Health and Rehabilitation. The only thing best about it is that it would have been closer to where I live. I was familiar with the place. It's been there a long time. So, it's old. They have made a few improvements, but it just didn't seem as friendly, and more like a nursing home than the other facility. The whole atmosphere is more gloomy. They weren't as up-to-date and cheery-looking. The person who gave the tour was very cordial. He was the assistant manager. I just get the feeling they were more short-staffed than the other facility."
