His room is perfect for one person. It's nice because it has two bedrooms, but there's a sitting room in between them. It's not like he has a roommate, and it's not like a single."

"In July of 2019 when my husband and I decided to move back to the Midwest to be near our adult children, I began searching the internet. Rivertown Ridge immediately caught my eye, so I contacted the sales office. Meredith was very kind, patient, and helpful in answering my many questions. In August, we sent in a deposit. One of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Unfortunately, my husband passed away while we were still in Florida, but the genuinely friendly staff at Rivertown Ridge made the move an easier adjustment for me. My apartment, the dining rooms, and common areas are wonderful! There’s a variety of activities, but no one feels pressured to participate. The location is ideal with shopping, hospitals, doctors, and restaurants nearby. I’ve made several new friends here and am so happy to be a resident at Rivertown Ridge. "

"My father-in-law has moved here. The place is small. It is different than a lot of the bigger communities. However, we feel like our father-in-law is getting very good day-to-day care. The people working there are very attentive and very communicative. When it came time to move him into the place, which we did at the last minute, they were very accommodating and extremely helpful to help us get him in there on short notice. Overall, our experience has been very positive so far. My father-in-law is in a room with a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small sitting area. They have three or four activities everyday, which is good. They are taking the residents on outings when they can. My father-in-law seems to like the food too."

"My mother is at Harvest Pointe at Thornapple Manor. They were just wonderful from the get-go. The staff is very helpful. We're in contact all the time. It has only been a couple of years, so it's very new and it's wonderful. My mother complains about the food, but I thought it was fine. They had a turkey dinner that was just delicious. My mother has a living room, a little kitchenette, a very big bathroom, and a good-sized bedroom. This place is always clean. It never smells. They just decked out for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. They have a lot of activities. They have sing-alongs and all sorts of stuff. They have something every day somewhere."

"Stoneridge Adult Foster Care was a nice, quite small facility. The location was out in the middle of nowhere. We saw the single room, but they did not have a double room which was what we needed. The dining room is OK and looked just like in an ordinary house kitchen. This is good for those who want a small facility. The staff seemed nice, and a lot of staff was on duty when we were there considering they were just a small facility. "
