"My father-in-law will be moving here. It's beautiful; the apartment that he's going into is very clean and spacious. The bathroom facilities are wonderful. The staff was very informative and very friendly. The dining area was very nice. It's still kind of short because of the COVID, as far as being able to eat in the dining room itself, but it's coming back. It looks very nice, and the chef even came out and introduced herself to us. The activities are limited right now because of Covid. They have a spa and a fitness room. They have a beauty shop, a nice library area, and a nice little bistro area along with their dining room. It was very nice and very clean, I was very happy with them."

"The guy at Commonwealth Senior Living at East Paris was phenomenal. He showed me the rooms, he showed me the facilities, and he showed me where they make the dinners. The guy was on top of everything. He gave me all kinds of advice. He spent about an hour and a half talking with me. The room was beautiful. The place was beautiful. It was phenomenal. Everybody was very hospitable. They were very lively, and they were rambunctious. I think they're probably told that, 'Hey, when you see someone walking around, you just express yourself like hey, good morning or hey, good afternoon.' They acknowledged you. That's why that's the place I'm picking for my wife. If she is going to go anywhere, that's where she is going to go."

"Commonwealth Senior Living at North Byron was nice. The colors were all light and airy, and the rooms were inviting. The staff members were very helpful, informative, friendly, and welcoming. The rooms were a nice size and very comfortable."

"I had a good visit. I was prepared to take my mother there, but she ended up having to go to the hospital. They'll have to do another assessment of her to see if they can still cover her level of care and if it's a yes, then that's where she'll go. I liked the facility. Every person I talked to there was helpful and very engaged with all their residents. It's very nice. The facility is not too big. It's relatively small, but there's plenty of room for the number of people there. There was a music thing going on during my first visit there. When we were moving my mother's furniture in, it was a beautiful day. Rather than having the alarms go off constantly with their residents, they said, "Let's go outside", because they took the residents out into the garden so they weren't being disrupted by us coming in and out constantly. That was very thoughtful."

"I like Rivertown Ridge. It's newer. It's four years old. The people are very friendly. We went through independent living to their memory care. They were very helpful. People were coming up and introducing themselves. They have a large area for walking, a tennis court, and a lovely outdoor pool. It's just a nice feeling. In terms of cleanliness, it's very clean and very well taken care of."

"The Cortland Wyoming was very nice. However, the colors of the rooms were pretty dark. Other than that, it was great. They had a lot of extra things for seniors. They were awesome. They were very helpful and very informative. The rooms were a little small. The common area was awesome, though. It was very welcoming and comfortable."

"My father-in-law has moved here. The place is small. It is different than a lot of the bigger communities. However, we feel like our father-in-law is getting very good day-to-day care. The people working there are very attentive and very communicative. When it came time to move him into the place, which we did at the last minute, they were very accommodating and extremely helpful to help us get him in there on short notice. Overall, our experience has been very positive so far. My father-in-law is in a room with a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small sitting area. They have three or four activities everyday, which is good. They are taking the residents on outings when they can. My father-in-law seems to like the food too."

"My mother is at Harvest Pointe at Thornapple Manor. They were just wonderful from the get-go. The staff is very helpful. We're in contact all the time. It has only been a couple of years, so it's very new and it's wonderful. My mother complains about the food, but I thought it was fine. They had a turkey dinner that was just delicious. My mother has a living room, a little kitchenette, a very big bathroom, and a good-sized bedroom. This place is always clean. It never smells. They just decked out for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. They have a lot of activities. They have sing-alongs and all sorts of stuff. They have something every day somewhere."
