"This is by far the BEST senior living community in the area. The community is clean. There are lots of activities to keep the residents busy and the residents are well cared for. This was the best place for my mom as she entered this new chapter in life. Riley’s Grove staff has been so helpful and supportive through each transition and they have significantly helped to maintain my mom’s dignity and quality of life despite her declining cognitive function. I would highly recommend this community to others who are looking for a safe place for their loved one."

"I feel that this assisted living provider is very good at what they do. The staff is friendly and helpful to the residents and their families. They are great with my grandmother, even after she burned one of the nurses with a cigarette when she was told she wasn't allowed smoke. There is a sense of community, and they encourage the residents to socialize with each other. My grandmother has made quite a few new friends. They have a common room with couches and a television, as well as lots of games for the residents to play. The residents' rooms are nice and quite big, so it feels like they have their own apartment, rather than just their own room. They also have very well kept grounds, with gardens and sidewalks so the residents can go for walks if they wish. If anyone in my area was looking for an assisted living center for a relative or even for themselves, I would highly recommend this facility. "

"I toured this facility. The rooms were perfect. It's exactly what we needed. It still might be on our list. The staff was great. Everything was great. It's a perfect match for us, but for some reason my mom is reluctant to go there. The food looked good, too. They have a two-bedroom available plus a washer and dryer in the unit. They have an exercise room, they have movies, and they have special gathering rooms. They have it all. It's brand new, too."

"We chose Cascade Trails Senior Living for my parents. We visited all three levels. We decided to go with independent living for now. It is brand new. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a good location for my parents. They are familiar with that area, so they felt comfortable moving there. The apartments are very spacious. They are brand new, so that's super helpful. They have a good layout. I didn't personally try the food, but my parents and my sister did. They thought the food was excellent. There is a fitness center and a library. We love the outside gathering areas with the fire pit. It seems very spacious. There are a lot of opportunities for activities and stuff. They have live music, which we experienced. It was super fun."

"Valley Pines Senior Living looked nice. The setting was very nice. There were nice views out the windows. The place seemed clean and quiet, but they weren't yet at full capacity. The people that showed us around were very pleasant. They said hi and acknowledged us. The double rooms looked like a pretty good size. The upkeep looked good, too."

"My mom moved to American House Holland. The staff was very good. I did not try the food because I said it was perfect for my mom and she moved in, and the first meal she had was excellent. They have arts and crafts. My mom is only interested in bingo, so they said they will have bingo just for her. Lindsay was awesome. She did so much. Every time I called her, she answered all my questions. So, I'm very happy that my mother was there, and my mother was very happy, too. I know that they're going to be redoing my mother's building, and it's very nice. I don't have a problem with it, but I'm sure it will be beautiful when it's done."

"I toured Boulder Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care for my husband. It was very interesting. It was a very nice place. The girl that took me around was very informative. She showed me a 1-bedroom and the 2-bedroom. The rooms in the memory care are a lot different. There was just a room with a bed and a bathroom. It was not like the other rooms with a little living room and a little kitchen area. The staff gave me a list of the activities that they have every day, a list of the different meals that they have, and a sheet that tells me what the prices are. They have a library and a beauty salon."

"This is such an amazing facility! My MIL and her companion have lived there for a year now and I have spent quite a bit of time there. The level of care, compassion, safety, cleanliness and friendly staff is amazing. The rooms are the perfect size and can easily be transformed to a comfortable place your loved ones will enjoy. And all the services that you can choose to use are all done with the same friendly, kind and dependable care you can count on. If you are looking for a wonderful place for your loved one. Look no further!!"

"My experience with the Robbinswood Assisted Living facility has been absolutely wonderful and beyond anything that I could ever imagine. We moved my grandmother in after she was through with her rehabilitation stint at a nursing home and even though she did not initially want to go to an assisted living center, she moved in anyways. She has been there almost two years now and during our almost weekly visits, I continue to be impressed by the staff and the upkeep of the center. The staff and nurses are very nice and seem to go above and beyond what is expected of them which greatly increases my grandmother's stay and overall happiness. The building itself is older but has been renovated and more projects seem to begin every month whether it be new paint or changes in the front or the back gardens. The overall quality of Robbinswood is above and beyond what we expected to get for my grandmother and I cannot imagine having her in any other place right now. "

"I toured Woodland Gardens. That one was very nice as well. They have a live-in guy, which is kind of cool. So he's there all the time, and then he has a couple of days off where other people come in. Other than the ones who came in to help out when we were there, he was making cookies and making lunch and doing it all. He lives right there, so there's somebody there at night all the time. They don't have to worry about somebody calling in at night to not show up or somebody having to work a double because somebody doesn't show up or whatever. I guess all their buildings have a live-in person. They have up to six residents. They have single rooms with half baths. They have a tub and shower room that they can shower in, and the bathroom itself has a toilet and a sink. The manager-owner himself came out, and all of those who were working there were very knowledgeable about everything as well. He'd been there for four years, the fellow that lives there. He was doing laundry, and there was a pile of laundry on the couch that had to be folded."
