I toured Baldwin House Birmingham. The location was wonderful. The apartments were very nice, but it is basically turning into just an apartment building with absolutely no services whatsoever. No food, no maintenance, nothing. It's just going to become a flat out apartment building for rent for anyone in downtown Birmingham. The staff was very good, very informative. The facility appeared adequate, not great, but certainly not shabby.

Baldwin House Birmingham was terrific about everything. I would love to go there. I liked the full offer that they had for community living. They have everything one could imagine and they were extremely well able to accommodate any needs, be it social or otherwise. They were very well equipped to deal with different kinds of people. It was cosmopolitan and extremely attractive with a great assortment of offers for socializing and opportunities for different events. They're also attentive to the residents. The woman who did the tour was excellent. She did her job very well and was very good at what she did. The food looked terrific, too. They're just expensive.

Baldwin House in Birmingham is beautiful. Its location is wonderful, if you like Birmingham. The problem with that place was it's too independent for my dad. Everything was good otherwise. They fit everything really nicely, like the location and the room size. It just wouldn't fit his needs. Even though it has availability for assistance, it wasn't quite the same and a little bit too independent for him. They basically don't have the same activities set up for a person that needs a little bit of help. If you're independent then it's OK. They've got people there, and they don't need much of anything; they're all set.

I placed my mom in Baldwin House. It is great and has a lot of amenities. The location is very nice, and you can go down throughout the city. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They go out of their way to help you. The rooms are lovely. They are all updated with all top-of-the-line appliances, clean, freshly painted, and lovely. My mom says some of the food is good and some is bad, but basically, she is pretty satisfied. The dining area is large. I think they offer a whole lot in terms of having the city available to you to walk with your loved ones to see parks, restaurants, and listen to the music or concerts on Wednesday nights. There is Baldwin library right there that you can walk to across the street. They have book clubs, bridge, and all kinds of activities. They have a community bus that will take you throughout the area within a 10-mile radius to your doctors' or hair appointments. They are very friendly, and we are very happy.

My Mom has lived there for over three years. The food is substandard and they do not have a trained chef in the kitchen as I was told in the beginning. Also, one of the two elevators has been out of service for over a month. They have recently updated the lobby and common area on main floor and it looks very pretty. Unfortunately the actual apartment bathrooms and kitchens are very dated. Windows also old with broken seals. I am very seriously considering moving Mom out to a Senior Community that is sensitive to their residents and their surroundings

I really like Baldwin House, but it’s too expensive for my relatives to move there. They offer luxurious accommodations, and the rooms are large. The people I met were very nice, and the residents looked happy.

I think that the Baldwin House in an excellent choice for someone who is looking for a safe, secured, and comfortable Independent living apartment. The Baldwin House in Birmingham, Michigan is very elegant, luxurious and also very tasteful to the eye. The common areas of the facility are beautifully landscaped and well maintained and so are the surrounding neighborhoods with an O% crime rate. It is a safe and secured apartment for any senior that is 55 and over to live their golden years in. While there, I noticed that the Baldwin House offers their residents an array of amenities and supportive services. They offer the senior community there an array of recreational activities. Their surrounding neighborhoods are affluent, safe and is also much secured. This suburb is known to the vast majority of people in the surroundings suburbs as the Art of Fine Living. Birmingham is one of the most affluent suburbs in Michigan. The Baldwin House also offer their residents on site 24 hour onsite building Management, and 24 hour on site maintenance staff. They also provide secured entrance and monitor systems surrounding the apartment building for the convenience of their residents. They also have a T V Lounge, on every floor for their residents to socialize with one another and watch television together in. They also have in house mail boxes for their residents’, social rooms for their residents to socialize and interact with one another in and have private celebrations and private parties in as well. The Baldwin House also offers their residents In house video Movie Theatre, library, with computer access for all their residents to enjoy. They also have a work out facility for their residents to stay mentally and physically healthy for their residents well being and overall health. They also provide Fax and Copier Machines on site ready available for all of their residents to use when needed. I would recommend this facility to any and everyone 55 and over because I know that hey would love it there and I know that they would be happy and proud to be there also. Pets are also welcomed aboard to live there with their owners this is a very people animal friendly community. They also offer their residents 3 full course savory nutritional meals 3 times a day on a daily basis, personal care services available, and Educational programs for their residents. Dial a Ride Transportation services on site for their residents and emergency call services for their residents. I would have to rank this Independent living apartment building a five stars rating for its expertise and excellence.
