My mother-in-law was at Betzy's Place. I like the personal care that she got from the couple that runs the place. It's a husband-and-wife team who have hired aides. They get some help from the hospital med students, too. It was very one-on-one care, which is what we like. We thought it was very good care. The staff were very attentive and very good to my mother-in-law and to the other patients that were there. We thought it was very good care. It was very good compared to where my mother-in-law was before. The food was homemade. My mother-in-law wasn't getting as much when she was there for two weeks, only because she came from the hospital and her health had declined a lot. She was just in hospice care for pretty much those two weeks she was there. Everything was homemade. The staff made apple crisp, and we had that, and it was very good. With regards to the physical appearance, it was very clean and homey. We were very happy with the appearance and everything there. Everything was great. They had someone come in to do hair. They had a deck with wheelchair access. There's a pond off the deck. They offered laundry, housekeeping, and help with showering, grooming, and dressing.
