"I looked at many places before I chose the American House for my Grandmother. Their staff is amazing, they really care about the residents. They are reasonably priced, it's very well maintained, the menus are very well planned and offer choices to the residents. They have many activities and plan trips for the residents. If there is ever an issue they promptly take care of it. They offer good advice for residents families about programs that could help out for whatever type of situation you may come across with your family member. Over all I would highly recommend American House assisted Living facilities. "

"Very nice lobby/dining area with tablecloths. Open feeling. Toured the apt. rooms available and very nice. Staff friendly. Entrance way was a bit dark with dark green/wine red color scheme but felt very private which I liked. "

"I moved into Silver Maples of Chelsea yesterday. It's very lovely and caring. People came greeting me when I came. It's beautiful, and most of the places were, but this one had a different level. It appealed to me and the price was right. It has four different sections for the different levels of care, so at this point, I only know the independent section. I haven't had a chance to explore or go downstairs for the dining. I had a tray last night, and that's all I know yet. I've had one meal, and it was delicious."

"My parents moved into Oakmont Northville more than a month ago. The staff seems to be very friendly. There's no interaction with them unless you need them, but they're very helpful. The grounds are very nice, very clean, and very well maintained. The food is excellent. They have 2 nightly specials, and they get 3 meals a day. They play bingo and they go to happy hours. They had a Mother's Day lunch and that was nice. They do offer an activity bus every Friday, and they go to the grocery store, the Dollar Tree, and the pharmacy. They also have access to a chauffeur if they need to go to dental appointments or wherever they need to be. They also have a doctor that comes to the facility once a week. They have a beauty shop on the premises. They have a theater, an activity room, and a library. The other thing that Oakmont Northville offers is they have emergency call buttons in the apartment. They have four of them in the room, and each resident gets one, either a necklace or a wristband, that they wear. It's a great value for the price."

"Simply upon driving up to the facility it was evident that it was a very nice place to live. The landscaping was very well maintained, the building looked nice, it overall simply looked like a great place to live. Upon entering the facility I was greeted by a warm, welcoming lobby area with friendly staff. When I went to visit my Great Grandma she seemed very happy and is doing as great as ever, no doubt thanks to Fox Run. She is not a very active person but according to her there are lots of activities for the people who live there to take part in like swimming in a swimming pool, walking or running on treadmills in the workout room, she even talked about how she watched some of her friends play pool/ Overall she seems to be very happy their, and I feel safe and secure knowing that my family made the decision to put her within such a friendly, accepting, wonderful community. "

"My dad just spent over three weeks at this location. Everyone was so nice. He got very good care. However, I do believe part of the reason he got very good care was that my mom spent 8 hours every day at the facility. We would recommend this facility."
