She would bring home lunch and my dad and her would have pizza together and they would talk and visit and she did laundry. My dad still had my daughter coming in to clean the house, so there wasn't much cleaning to do. She was company for my dad and that was important to him. He had somebody there to talk to. Katie helped me with setting everything up. We had a couple of instances where she couldn't get people into work because of Covid. She couldn't give my dad the hours that he needed and nobody would show up at times, but that was not Katie's fault. The girls didn't want to work, and she couldn't get anybody in, and my dad was fussy about who we had coming in into the house. Katie was very good with letting me know what was going on. She kept me informed and when she couldn't get people, she would call me and let me know that he wasn't going to get anybody that day. Katie was an excellent person, but she was not a caregiver. She helped me tremendously in getting stuff taken care of. The care plan was pretty good. He got decent care when they were there. He had a catheter and they had to change the catheter bag and stuff and empty it. They provided meals. He had meals in the fridge or the freezer, and they would heat them up and give them to him. We had some good caregivers and some that didn't want to show up. The last lady we had that came in was very good."
