My parents' apartment is fabulous! So much room! The maintenance team is superb with quick response and action. The activities team goes all out! There is so much available socialization that I could not provide my parents with if they lived in my home. There's everything from independent living to memory care. In-house doctor visits and PT. Everything about this place is top-notch: the food, cleanliness, caring staff, activities and outings. My parents are 94 and 91 and are in the greatest of hands!

My father lived at Story Point for 13 months. I can’t say how much he enjoyed his time there. He made the most of the community and made many friends amongst residents and staff. He loved “home” as he called it. As his health began to deteriorate, the staff jumped in to help at every turn, lovingly and gracefully providing him with extra care and consideration. As a family, we were welcomed as well, and enjoyed so many gatherings there. It is truly an amazing place with individual care with the extra TLC we all want for our loved ones.

Since my 97 year old dad moved into StoryPoint Saline over a year ago, we have seen a positive change in his health and his overall happiness. StoryPoint hires a caring, approachable staff and provides opportunities to learn new things. He has tried things that he would never have done at home. I feel comfortable in knowing he is being well cared for. His favorite activity of the week is meeting with his friends from both Independent and Assisted Living areas at Happy Hour in the Bistro once a week.

Everyone is so friendly. The staff is awesome. They are very helpful with getting new residents to feel welcome. They are very accommodating. The food is fabulous. If you don’t like something on the menu they will find you something else to eat. Manicures and Mimosas are so much fun! The residents really enjoy the weekly happy hour with specialty drinks. Family members are encouraged to partake in the various activities along with the residents. I can’t say enough good things about Story Point Saline! If you have any questions just ask the staff ; if they don’t know the answer they will find the answer for you. I have visited other independent living facilities snd StoryPoint Saline is by far the best!!

On an average my mother is dressed in clean clothes, but the clothes we bought her are always missing. The blanket I got her for Christmas is gone. Rarely is she attending any memory care sessions with staff when I've been there. I've never heard any staff talking about any occupational therapy of any kind.

The facility and staff are great! The apartments are great. Very bright and inviting and they have high ceilings which makes them feel even bigger. Bathrooms are huge and makes maneuvering in them easy. My parents have been more active at StoryPoint in the last month than they were at home for years. They are enjoying the wide range of activities ti choose from. From listening to music, getting their nails done, going to a tailgate, etc. there are a wide range of activities for everyone. They love the food and the wide range of choices. StoryPoint allows/encourages family to come and participate in the activities with their loved ones and we have have enjoyed it immensely. They told us when we went to visit that they try and make it so that the residents feel like it is their home and they succeeded! Everyone has been so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend StoryPoint in Saline. The staff and the amenities are 5 star!

My Aunt and Uncle have an apartment in the memory care neighborhood, which is filled with dementia friendly activities and friendly knowledgeable staff. The neighborhood has interactive sections where a resident could play the piano or guitar, look and compare different fabrics and patterns, an artist corner, books, games, and so much more. The staff is always engaging residents in conversation or activities and encourage them to help set the table for meals, tidy the community spaces and encourage as much independence while meeting each resident to their specific needs. I love visiting my family there they always seem happy and taken care of.

Storypoint Saline has been absolutely fantastic with my mom. They made the insanely difficult transition to memory care a little easier, and they have been so supportive. Makayla and Rachel are just the best, they send pictures on days that I cannot visit my mom, and they never hesitate to drop what they are doing to help out on the unit when needed. I truly can’t say enough good things about all of the staff, they are amazing with the residents and so patient and kind; they truly provide the best care, and I have never once questioned that my mom is in the right place. If you’re looking for top notch care and kind, compassionate caregivers, please do yourself and your family a favor and check out Storypoint Saline. You will not be disappointed!

We toured several facilities and are so happy we chose Story Point. Our Mom had lived in her own home for many years so we were all a little anxious about the move, but she is so happy. We were able to move her own furniture in so it feels like home. She loves the food served at dinner and takes leftovers back to her apartment for lunches. She has already made new friends. We have been amazed at how welcoming both the other residents and staff have been. Mom loves the activities and goes to an exercise class every day. We couldn't be happier!

We recently moved Mom to Memory Care after 3 years in Independent Living at StoryPoint Saline. Staff partnered with our family to keep Mom in IL as long as it was safe to do so. The transition to MC was very smooth. Mom’s apartment is adequately sized and comfortable, and she loves the family-style meals three times a day. Activities are plentiful and cognitively appropriate…those where she can be physically active, any opportunity to help (e.g., decorating for holidays or folding laundry), and the weekly live performances are her favorites! Mom frequently comments about how nice the staff are and how hard they work to take care of all the residents. We have every confidence this is the right place for her to be as her dementia journey continues to play out.

When I transitioned my mom to StoryPoint Saline Memory Care I thought it would go well because the place seemed very nice. I was right and then some. The experience so far exceeded our expectations in every way - we are still amazed that they could contribute so much to this difficult journey for us. Everyone that works there from the caregivers to the directors to the chefs worked hard every day to help and support us. Their Connection Points approach directly addresses the far reaching complexity dementia brings to our lives and helps us feel a part of a community instead of isolated like we had felt before. We were there non-stop for the 3 weeks before my mom's passing and we got to see cared for residents, inviting spaces, interesting activites and extremely talented and dedicted caregivers. They - and amazing Makalya and Rachel - took such special care during my mom's transition to help ensure it was as peaceful and comfortable as it could be. We are so grateful.

StoryPoint Saline is a very warm, welcoming and well-run independent living community. The staff are consistently helpful and kind, and many have been there for longer than is usual in the industry. They work as a good team and are very responsive to families. The apartments are nice, with high ceilings so as not to feel institutional. There are all the amenities and services that my mother needs - she especially appreciates the salon and the van service. Her favorite activities are the live performances and field trips.

My wife is on the Alzheimer's spectrum but is not quite ready for assisted living or memory care. Storypoint's provision of enhanced living provides a perfect fit, providing ala carte in home services through Laurus as our needs change. We did *alot* of research before deciding on Storypoint, and it is simply the best. The staff is very caring, cheerful and professional. The facility is clean, with a dedicated cleaning staff working near round the clock. The food is excellent -- stop by for one of the buffets and try the standing rib roast, salmon, or lamb. Lots of great activities -- my favorite is Wednesday happy hour. Having placed my wife here is like having a weight off my chest. I am so grateful to Storypoint, its staff, and cheerful fellow residents.

My mom was most impressed with StoryPoint Saline, but it just almost seemed to be too big for her, but I would take her there one more time to show her how really simple it was to get around it. Allison showed us around and was very good at her job. They had different floor plans. One was more of a studio, and then others were like a bedroom with a living area (not divided by a door but divided by a wall), which was what she would be most interested in. There was a library, a game type room, a room that would show movies, and a nice workout area. It was a very nice place.

StoryPoint Saline is a very caring community. My Mom has been in the independent facility for one year and she is thriving. Mom’s apartment is spacious and well maintained. The staff is very approachable, caring and professional The activities offered to the residents are thought out and vary in design to cater to everyone. The meal selection and presentation is top notch. Our family is very pleased with StoryPoint and feel it is a perfect fit for my Mom

My father is in StoryPoint Saline. The staff has been awesome. They've just gone above and beyond. Everything has been wonderful there. The only issue has been with staffing, which is a country problem, so I don't blame them for that. They have done whatever they could for us in taking care of my parent. They're doing the best they can. Their chef is really good, even better than the place that my parents were at, which was highly rated. In assisted living, they only have a small refrigerator and nothing else. In the independent, they have the oven, the stovetop, and the refrigerator. There are washers and dryers in some of the larger rooms, but not in the one-bedrooms. It's very well laid out, very bright, and very airy. It's in a very beautiful location. They have music come in, they have religious services twice a week, they have outings scheduled all the time, and during the college football season, they have the tailgate. They even have camping for them for the people that want to do camping. In the courtyard area, they'll put up tents and people can camp out if they want to and do tailgating. They do a lot of different activities. Value for money is very good. I can't say anything bad.

We liked that StoryPoint Saline was bigger than the other place we went to. We liked the place. Everybody was walking around and friendly, so we enjoyed that. It was very clean. They had a restaurant where a waiter waited on you. My friend liked that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were larger and they had a separate bedroom, which is nicer. It's more comfortable, just like an apartment. It had a kitchen with a stove and a refrigerator. We saw the library, the exercise room, the restaurant, and the beauty salon. They were playing cards. They had a happy hour where they were all down listening to music. It was nice. It goes all the way from independent living to memory care, but we looked at independent living first because my friend is not quite ready for the memory one. They also have assisted living where they would do a little more than the independent living. They had a nice view of a little pond. It wasn't enclosed like a neighborhood. It was kind of wide open there, so it was nice. It was well kept up.

StoryPoint Saline has been a wonderful community for my elderly mother. She joined StoryPoint soon after it opened and we felt incredibly fortunate to find a place in the independent living neighborhood. Her 1 bdr apt is spacious, with modern fixtures and many useful amenities, including a walk in shower with grab bars, emergency pull cords in the bathroom and bedroom, and sufficient closet space for all her needs. Laundry and disposal facilities are right across the hall and easily accessible (and free, ie not coin operated). The housekeeping crew keep both the apartments and the common spaces clean and tidy. There is a daily schedule of interesting events, that include a range of art, music, movies and sometimes just fun. There are regularly planned trips for grocery shopping and other expeditions. The food is high quality and there are monthly family events that are very enjoyable. In general, the staff are kind, caring and go out of their way to help in any way needed. In-house rehab is also terrific. Importantly, there is good continuity of care and staff between the independent living, assisted living and memory care neighborhoods, which assists in the transitions that may need to happen for our loved ones. A short visit to the memory care neighborhood showed the characteristic attention to detail, innovative approaches to engagement and thoughtful kindness towards all. Important for the health of the community, during COVID, StoryPoint Saline rigorously followed public health guidelines and arranged vaccine clinics to make it easier for their community of elders to be vaccinated. We've been so glad to be part of the StoryPoint family!

This has been a wonderful community for my mother. The attentive and supportive staff have helped both of us as my mother's needs evolved, including facilitating her transition from Independent to Assisted Living. To a person, every staff member has been kind, capable, and responsive to our needs. The AL community is small and family-like, with delicious shared meals, group activities, and open common spaces including a lovely courtyard. Rooms as spacious, quiet, and well maintained.

I've looked at StoryPoint Saline, it was a beautiful place. One of my comments was that it's too damn fancy for me. They're one of the nicest facilities which I like, but the price was higher, and that's the point I didn't like. The appearance of the facility was excellent, it's a very, very nice place. They showed me the rooms, the common areas, and the dining room. They took me through the whole thing. It's an excellent community except the price was higher and the location wasn't as good as the other places I toured. The room that I saw there was very nice and the person who gave the tour was excellent. The staff answered all my questions without hesitation, and it was all I could ask for.

The StoryPoint Saline was a very nice community with lots of activities. They had nice food options and nice accommodations for the people that live there. The tour we had was a nice experience. We toured their independent living. For activities, they have gardening, they go on field trips, they have game nights, and they have entertainment that comes in. We saw the menus, the kitchen, the dining facilities, and everything.

The overall experience with Storypoint Saline has been wonderful. The food is great, the staff is good, the people in the community are wonderful. The staff is always friendly, very helpful, and to this point, they've been responding to everything that we needed. They have a library, they take trips to the stores, there's a little convenience store there for them, and there are demonstrations weekly, like cooking demonstrations. They have all kinds of weekly activities.

StoryPoint Saline was very nice. It had a lot of nice features that were designed for senior living. You can transfer to a higher level of care if you need more help. So, I was impressed with the place. We went down there a couple of times and the gal was very nice to take us around, show us different apartments, go through what was available, and how much they cost. The place was very clean and well cared for.

StoryPoint Saline was awesome. I can't say enough good things about it. It was modern. It was beautiful. The people were wonderful. It was everything you would want. They showed us everything, but we looked in the apartment at the independent living. The staff was really friendly, welcoming, very informative, really wonderful, and not at all pushy. I couldn't say enough things about her either. They showed us the menu, and they showed us where they cook. We didn't have a meal at that time, but everyone who does come to live there meets with the chefs so that if you have any special dietary concerns or needs, they make sure that they accommodate you. They have a little cafe, a library, and a gym. They have TED talks. They have large rooms that you can reserve that have full kitchens so that you can have family and friends or you could have an event. They have happy hour every Wednesday for all the residents. They have brunches for the family every third Sunday. I want to move there.

Long-term caregivers are kind and caring. The Life Enrichment team does a wonderful job of including all assisted living residents, even those who are bedbound. The Executive Director is responsive to concerns expressed by both residents and family members. The head of housekeeping is the best! My family member is happy living at Story Point

The facilities are always clean. The food is not your standard institutional fare, the head chef is very creative. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The only issue I see is the high turnover rate of the lower level staff. It would be nice to see staff that look old enough to have had at least basic nursing/emergency care training and get paid a high enough wage to want to stay. If a lot of this staff are high school students, they are unlikely to stay on the job and more likely to cancke shifts or just not show up.

I toured StoryPoint Saline; it was very nice if I can afford $4000 a month. They were very nice, and the people that lived there seemed to be happy. I could sense things like that if you're lying or not, I could kind of tell. Everything was clean and neat, they have a nice kitchen, and the food was very nice, I enjoyed it. The staff was very knowledgeable; I had written down a lot of questions, I asked them all, and she gave me the answer to everything I asked. Their food is fabulous. They have a free bus that takes you anywhere you want to go within reason. They also have tours. I don't gamble, but I sure like the food when they do go gamble. They take them to casinos and museums. It felt more like home. I don't know what it's like as far as living there, but what I could see, I enjoyed; and the people seem happy.

StoryPoint Saline is a phenomenal facility. I chose it for my uncle because they have everything to offer there, the price was competitive, and it was clean. He's in assisted living, and they're very caring and supportive. We like their activities, the nursing staff, the daily caregivers, and the options that you have for palliative care if needed. In my case, I have a very elderly person who needs enhanced care. Once he goes further down the road memory care-wise, they can also handle him there. He's a World War II vet, and they have veterans' meetings twice a month, every other Friday. The place was also centrally located to his friends, family, and neighbors. It might have been a little bit more expensive, but it was the quality of care for my loved one that outweighed the rest.

I got to see both the assisted and the memory care at StoryPoint Saline. My father-in-law had yet to be evaluated at that point, and so I shared what the situation was, and they were more than happy to show me everything he might need. The facility itself was beautiful, large, and varied. The staff was incredibly kind. The only part that was a little difficult for us was the price. It was on the higher end. There was a social event going on, and I met some residents in the memory care section, which was smaller, and they were all very pleasant. The main activities person was incredibly sweet too. The facility was great. It was spacious and pets are allowed.

StoryPoint Saline is an excellent living place. I liked what they do for their residents and how much care they have. They interact with each and every one of their residents, they try to engage them, and that's very important to me. The staff care for the residents -- they show it -- and you see it in what they do for them and how they treat them. The food was very good, and the chef was amazing. I liked how it is laid out. I loved that the bathrooms all have walk-in showers. There's plenty of room; if you have a wheelchair, you can just wheel right in there. There seems to be plenty of room all around and easy access for the residents. That's my top place. I love everything about it outside of the cost.

My mother stayed at StoryPoint Saline for a month. It was an excellent experience although the move-in was a little confusing. I think they weren't expecting us, but two weeks before she came in, my husband and I went to set up her apartment, so it was a little confusing for us. After that, however, moving her in was easy. The staff was supportive and helpful. The food was terrific, and the facility was very clean. We were given documentation that we could go and visit her because she was in this enhanced living environment and that was an incredibly positive and a great option during COVID times.

My 95 year old uncle entered StoryPoint of Saline as the Covid 19 quarantine began. We could not help him bring in his belongings, nor help him settle in. One dedicated staffer helped him move in and even took pictures of him so that our family could see him settled in his new apartment. When it was ok to venture out of his room, she made sure he knew how to locate the mailroom, laundry and other important areas within the complex. The food is spectacular. Our favorite phone topic is asking what he had had for supper. The food is high quality, plentiful and includes a great variety of interesting choices. The entire staff has been helpful and pleasant. Here is a great example. When I I brought him into the lobby with the items we had just brought for his apartment. There is still a visitor restriction, so we were unsure how he would be able to get all of his items to his apartment. One staffer had just gotten off of her shift. She came up to him and asked if he would like to have her help him! Our family is so thankful for the quality of life StoryPoint of Saline provides for our uncle at this time when living at home would be very difficult.

StoryPoint Saline has offered a stimulating and comfortable home to my in-laws since January 2016, when it first opened. The staff is incredibly caring and in every situation attempts to offer the residents a solution to their problems and needs. The grounds are beautifully maintained with inviting flowers and decorations near the front door, and expansive well maintained common spaces. The individual apartments are attractive and many have views of the lake nearby. The bathrooms could be more generous with counter space, but workarounds for this problem can be found. The food that is provided is healthy, with low sodium options clearly marked, and served in an elegant dining area with linens and flowers on the table at each meal. If a resident is not feeling well, a dinner tray can be provided right to their apartment door. My in-laws have made many friends at StoryPoint, and the residents there are well educated with many unique talents. There is a welcoming atmosphere among the residents, and it has been easy for my in-laws to make friends during meals, Happy Hour, and all of the various activities that are offered at StoryPoint. My in-laws have extensively used the rehabilitation services and the care giving staff that are housed in the building, and this has been an endless source of support for us. In addition, there are many visiting medical services present, such as visiting doctors, podiatrists and audiologists. Routine immunizations, such as flu shots, are offered within the building. Emergency call ropes are located in each apartment, and residents can also be provided with a call necklace to get attention. The staff attempts to make every effort to get to know the interests and talents of the residents and provides activities and opportunities geared to those particular interests. A transport bus is available to take residents shopping and out on field trips to local restaurants, museums, and art galleries. StoryPoint Saline has offered a safe haven to my in-laws at this fragile, final stage of their lives.

Choosing an independent living facility is a daunting and overwhelming experience. My in laws moved from Arizona to Michigan and we feel so fortunate that we found StoryPoint Saline. Their transition was seamless and it is so refreshing to know that care is available to them when and if they need. I am also extremely impressed with all of the activities Storypoint offers. From trips and outings to in house activities, movies and events there is something for everyone. Socialization is so vitally important and my in laws have made so many friends to include the staff at StoryPoint. We are thrilled to have found StoryPoint and highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to call home.

My parents moved in to StoryPoint right after it opened in Saline and have lived here ever since. The staff knows them by name and is very friendly and caring. If they ever have needed maintenance or assistance in any way, someone has been down quickly to see to their needs. The food is incredible...definitely not institutional food...they have actual chefs there. Every Thursday is Happy Hour and every morning people gather together for coffee and to chat. There’s always something going on or places to go and there is transportation that can be arranged for doctor visits or other needs. Both my parents have had to take advantage of their assisted care after hospital stays. Again, incredibly caring, efficient and knowledgeable staff came into their apartment to help them get around. My mother even had the in-house PT after she broke her hip which was incredibly helpful. I would HIGHLY recommend StoryPoint for top notch care and service!

We went to see the independent living level of Storypoint Saline. It was very nice. They were very knowledgeable. They have dinner every night, and also like a bistro where you can get breakfast or lunch. Their shuttle is flexible, and you can schedule for it to go places where you want to go, which is nice. The design of the building is very thoughtful with very wide hallways, which was very cool. It's just a very nice community. There are also exercise classes and all kinds of stuff for the residents.

StoryPoint Saline was pleasant, well appointed, and well decorated. It was roomy, open, and very well kept. The staff was very friendly. The room was a reasonable size with good features and nice furnishings. It looked easy to keep up, and it was very pleasant. They have a nice garden, an exercise facility, multiple group rooms for gatherings, and a library. There were a number of activities, i.e., shopping, visits to entertainment areas, cards, and movie nights.

StoryPoint Saline is new; about two or three years old. They have a waiting list of six to nine months, and they have a lot more amenities than other places. The apartment has a patio that opens up to let the dogs in and out. It's a really nice place, and all the people that we met, including the staff, were friendly, helpful, informative, and warm. It almost looks like a mini-resort. They have some really nice restaurants, we ate there for lunch, and the food was new. We looked at the menu and the main dining area looked exceptional as well. They also have planned events, a washer and dryer, a hair salon, and so on. It was a little above and beyond, probably due to the newness. It's clean, and the people there seemed like they really liked it. Their lobby was also really beautiful. There's a nine-mile radius to go where you want in the shuttle for shopping or something. They have activities like bingo, and they have musicians who come in to play in their outdoors area and so on.

StoryPoint Saline was very nice, and the people and the accommodations were nice. I had a quick tour and I enjoyed it. They offered us food, but we couldn't because we were in a hurry. The staff was very pleasant, and they do have activities for the residents.

I visited the facility. I liked it a lot, especially the opportunity to be on the first floor with a patio. This is great for pet owners. This is new, and so very clean, etc. Staff was friendly and very helpful. It may be a little out of my price range, however. The dinner menus featured 7 entrees (!) and restaurant style ordering. One meal a day is included, typically dinner. They are planning a dog park for next year! Lovely surroundings and transportation provided but one can keep their own car.

Story Point was very nice. We liked it a lot. Their staff was very helpful and very good. This was probably one of the nicest places we visited. They had two-bedrooms and studios available. The two-bedroom is what we were interested in, which was very nice. They had meals and everything, but the rooms weren’t very open and didn’t have a walk-in shower that we needed, so we couldn’t pursue that any further.
