Hart Heritage provides excellent care with a smile. Rooms and facility are very clean and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and really care about the residents. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with deer, geese and other wildlife traipsing across the grounds. I have visited many senior living facilities and Hart Heritage is in a class by itself. A warm and inviting place to live. The best part is peace of mind i have knowing that my loved one is well taken care of.

I'm very pleased with Hart Heritage Estates. My husband is getting very good care. It's a beautiful atmosphere. It's very nice and calming to him because he feeds the cows and he has a window that looks out to the lake. So it's very nice. The staff was very nice to me, too. I have tried their meals and they were delicious. They simmer the meat all day so it's very tender for the residents to eat. He is in memory care and the majority of these residents could not participate, but they bring different entertainers and do the music of the fifties and things like that with the residents as well as puzzles. I'm very pleased with the cost and the care that's given.

This is not a family oriented facility. Family members are not permitted in the resident rooms. Covid restrictions have been lifted but they still will not allow visitors to enter the rooms of their family members. It's like they don't want you to see what's going on. You have to make an appointment to see your loved one. Many of the meals are served cold, medications and not handed out in a timely manner, call button for health services go unanswered. The visiting hours are not good for working people as you can't visit once dinner starts at 4:30. Some of the staff make it seem like you are bothering them if you ask or need something. They do have large rooms but it comes at a high price. The music entertainment is appreciated.

Hart Heritage Estate is so far so good. The last time I saw my brother, he had a good day and the people were very nice and helpful. At first, I didn't think this was going to work out, then the person I talked to said that all will be fine, but then, she is hiring somebody to be with him all day. So, that's from $1600 to $2200 a week, and that's expensive, but she said that it's supposedly for three weeks only. So, hopefully, it will be over soon. The facility has been the best. The ones I have met were nice and helpful. I haven't seen any activities, but the lady who comes in to work with my brother right now, takes him down when they have music playing, like people coming in and playing the instruments, and she said he kind of likes that.

My aunt was a resident of Hart Heritage for a year before she passed away. The staff was exceptional. I lived out of state, and she wasn't able to live by herself, then with the COVID outbreak, it was such a relief to know that she was being taken care of so well. Anytime her mental status changed, or there was any change in her health the staff kept me informed. She cared for the staff and they treated her like family. The rooms and atmosphere are very pleasant. There were activities that she enjoyed and when her friends came to visit, there were times they helped her with some of the crafts. She was very content, and made a lot of new friends at Hart Heritage. It was great and even though she would have enjoyed being home much better, her health wouldn't allow it. Some of the things that she enjoyed were the various activities (crafts, games), church services, sitting outside and enjoying the companionship of her new friends (and visitors who came to see her). There is a beauty shop on site where she got her hair done frequently. She also enjoyed having her friends and family visit her (prior to the COVID outbreak) and being able to eat meals with them onsite. If you are looking for assisted living with great atmosphere & living conditions, and a caring & exceptional staff, I would highly recommend checking out Hart Heritage.

To all Staff: Thank you all so very much for everything you did to make my Mom's stay as comfortable and pleasant in every way. You looked after her with lots of love, patience and care. I want to especially thank you for making us as comfortable and accommodating us in her final days there. I know we were there late at night, stayed over and all day visits so we could be there with Mom and you all could not have been any nicer in looking out for us. She was so lucky to have such a fine bunch of ladies and gentlemen looking out for her and caring for her. Thanks again and again for everything. Your kind and caring ways will always be remembered and

We moved my Dad into Hart Heritage yesterday, and we have been overwhelmed by the support of the caring staff. The Marketing Director, Kim Cooke, has gone above and beyond to help us get Dad transferred, and was amazing when we had to jump through hoops to get a specialty medication approved. The nursing staff is available and attentive. His Caregivers on all shifts have fussed over him like he's a family member. The dietary specialists make sure he eats. The building is modern and impeccably clean. Every effort is taken to make sure the residents are comfortable and safe. We are looking forward to a long relationship with these lovely people.

My mother has been at Hart Heritage for around a year now, and our family is very happy with the care and support mom receives here. The staff is courteous, professional, and caring. The facility is clean overall and moms room is well maintained. We always have a family member with mom at least three times a week. Mom is 91 and they treat her very well and include her in daily activities. She eats pretty good for her age. Her health is looked after by the nurses and they answer any questions we have and they show us they care. I like that they try to provide a well rounded activity for the residents, We receive a newsletter and the family is asked for any input to the both the newsletter and activities. Mom loves the bingo and the rosary meeting that is offered. Our family would definitely recommend this facility for an elderly family member. The staff in the dining area and kitchen are very friendly and look after mom if she is not eating, they have even substituted a meal if she did not like what they were serving. The maintenance staff is also good. I also love housekeeping once my mom s blanket was missing and housekeeping searched another floor and they found it. No big thing but they showed they cared.

My father has been at Hart Heritage for about 18 months now and we just love it. The staff has been fairly consistent throughout his stay and all of the employees seem to enjoy their work and their residents. My father, has no dementia, also tells me how much he enjoys everyone. He is thriving and enjoying life (this was not the case where he started at another facility). For those with loved ones having dementia, Hart Heritage staff treats them with the utmost of respect and does their best to provide them with a quality of life no matter what their condition. Many choices of activities too, for those who wish to participate, bingo, pets on wheels, visiting library, movie days and more. Talk to Kim C. to inquire more. It was the best choice we could have made!

Dear Hart Heritage family: I just returned home from my bi-weekly visits with my sister who lives with you, and I thought I should share some comments that she made during our visit. Since Eve moved in, I have been trying to get down to see her at least twice a month, and it is a two and a half hour drive to get there, but it is so necessary for me to see her. Every time I visit we spend most of our time talking about the outstanding staff that you have. There is not one person on your staff who does not go out of his or her way to make sure that Eve is comfortable, which is not an easy task because she is pretty much relying on people to take care of her since she can't do much herself. You have no idea how reassuring it is for me, living so far away, to know that she is being cared for and that she respects those who are doing a very difficult job. I wish I could remember everyone's name that she mentions, because each individual needs his or her own recognition, but with each visit it seems that the list gets longer. As I said, I know Eve demands a huge amount of attention, but every time she asks something of someone, her request is dealt with immediately and always with a smile... I really cannot see how people can be so accommodating, so sincerely accommodating. While I was there today, one girl checked in on her twice to make sure she was doing okay! So to avoid getting too sappy, I will close here, but I do want to thank you and your staff for removing worries from a very concerned brother. I know we are asking a lot of you, and I thank you for not only stepping up to the challenge but also exceeding it.

The staff at Hart Heritage: Thank you so much for the beautiful wreath that was sent to my Dad’s memorial service. It was absolutely beautiful. I especially want to thank you all so very much for taking such good care of my father. Deanna was knowledgeable and patient with all my concerns and questions. Her, as well as the rest of the staff, couldn’t be any more accommodating. It was very comforting to our family knowing he was in a safe and compassionate environment. Thank you again, Jamie, Jody, Dee, and Family

I want to offer my heartfelt thanks to ALL of you for your care of my mother. I know how much she appreciated all of you. Your kitchen staff and techs in the feeding room are really wonderful. It’s a great set up. I never felt worried that she wouldn’t eat because you would be able to help her always. The pureed food, the lactose free milk was all so helpful; trust me, it didn’t happen in the other facility. Your facility is clean: the staff’s appearance is good and they are professional. They also have a knack for getting to know these residents, even with end stage dementia. I told several of them that they don’t know how unique that is. Some of your aides are REALLY talented. I don’t mean to pinpoint just one person because all of them were really good. Compassion like that is really hard to find. Your staff is also quick to smile, so important for these folks and their families. I’ve been handling senior relatives in nursing homes, assisted living and hospice for over 17 years. So sad to say but I’ve spent significant time in many facilities. You can be assured that yours is a fine facility. As you know, that can only happen because of the people in it. It is clear that the employees take pride in what they do and truly care about the residents. It’s a very difficult job. It is important for them to know how vital they are in the lives of the residents and their families. From the housekeeping to the kitchen, from the aides to the techs, to the supervisors, please accept my sincere thanks to all of you from me and God’s blessing on you from above from my mother.

Thank you so very much for the beautiful flowers and sympathy card you sent after my father’s passing. It is truly appreciated. My father was only at the facility for a short time but the kindness shown to him and our family was overwhelming. The amount of care and quality of care he was given is immeasurable. I’m not sure there are enough words to express what I am feeling right now. Al I know is that I chose the right place for my Dad! Thank you for everything Hart Heritage! Karen P.

Dear Hart Heritage Team: Thank you very much for the incredible care you all gave my mom during her years here. It is cliché to say that it takes a special person to deliver the care you do for a health stricken person, but that is truly the situation. You are all very special people who gave my mom a wonderful life during her decline in health. I am grateful and very thankful. Fondly, Trudy and Family

Dear Hart Heritage, Another Saturday morning is upon me and it still feels strange not to plop Tippy in his carrier and ride over to Hart Heritage for the cat’s weekly visit with Dad. Watching Dad with his feline companion was always bittersweet. He would smile with childlike abandon, stroking the soft fur and declaring “Isn’t he a nice kitchen?” Nothing left in Dad’s world gave him greater joy. Dementia is an ugly journey which my father traveled with dignity thanks to the efforts of staff at Hart Heritage. A couple months prior to his death in one of those rare moments of clarity, Dad told me how lucky I was to have found “this place”, how “nice” everyone was and how “comfortable” he was here. I felt the weight of the world fly off my shoulders because the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life was place my beloved Dad in a facility. Although I knew at that time it was the best option for my father, Dad’s acceptance of Hart Heritage as his home helped my heart find peace. As new families arrive searching for solutions to their loved one’s decline, this is what I would want them to know – there is no perfect place. But for my father, Hart Heritage was the right place. This is a facility which provides a lifetime home, lovely surroundings, comfortable amenities, a friendly, committed staff and a management team willing to listen and adjust to meet the needs of the residents. The warm chocolate Ensure with shipped cream on top (“hot chocolate”) was just an example of the extra effort put forth by staff to nourish Dad and bring a smile to his face. How can I properly thank you? There just aren’t enough donuts to tell you how much I have appreciated each and every one of you. May God Bless and keep you with the same love and tenderness that you freely gave away to my Dad. With “Hart” felt thanks,
JudyD

To all of you, Words cannot express the gratitude for caring for Viola for nearly 2 1/2 years that she was with you. As many of you know, she was certainly very difficult at times and as you became familiar with her personality, she could make you laugh! As difficult as she was, I will miss her and I hope she found happiness. She was unfortunately defined by the grief that she had from losing her son 16 years ago and I pray that they are now reunited. You are all very special and the job that you do is so very important. Thank you!

To the Staff at Hart Heritage-Forest Hill, We both want to say THANK YOU for the beautiful flowers you sent our family after the passing our mother. Also, for the care that you gave her during the time she lived at Hart Heritage. During our visits with her, Mom would always comment on how nice everyone treated her. This made us feel good too knowing that she felt at home and was in a loving, caring facility. Even though Mom didn't remember the names of those who tended to her daily needs, we know she greatly appreciated your help and your smiles. THANK YOU again, Darlene and Les

Our mother was a resident at your Forest Hill facility from July 2015 until her passing on April 1, 2016. From the first day to her last, the compassionate care, communication, consideration, and comfort provided by everyone on staff were exemplary. We could not have asked for more timely attention as she struggled during the past two weeks. She was treated with extreme dignity and respect. Visiting family members were also kept well informed and comforted during that time. You have a wonderful team of people and we were very fortunate to have them assist our mother. We will readily recommend Hart Heritage to anyone in need of assisted living care.

I just wanted to take a few minutes to let you know how great your staff was to sit with my dad, Frank, while he was in his last hours. I arrived around 7:15am to find the night staff sitting around him. You could tell they were visibly upset. He passed around 7;45am. I enjoyed hearing some of the "Frankie" stories. They were all caring and comforting. They stayed beyond their shift to make sure he was taken care of with love and dignity. I just wanted to take the time to thank them and let you know what a great team you have. Thank you for the time he had at Hart Heritage and the care he received from all to the very end. Please share my thank you and love.

Their personal care consist of feeding, cleaning and put your loved one in a room to sleep in a recliner. No activities or outdoor time offered. Most residents seem to be over medicated and dazed. Very depressing!

Hart Heritage was really nice and very clean. I think they did really well with the residents that who were there. They have an activity room where they do bingo and crafts. There were nice individual rooms that's well-kept and clean. They take really good care of the patients. The dining room was gorgeous and the dining experience was great. It was beautiful.

There's no way to adequately express the love and care they give. The entire staff always treated my grandmother with respect and kindness. It was very comforting to know that she was treated as a member of their family .they are very special people and cannot be praised enough for the way that they care for your family. Professionalism and compassion towards the residents and their families is without a doubt the best I have seen in along time. When you come in you will see employees interacting closely with the residents. There is no other I would choose or recommend than Hart Heritage.
